  1. To be honest, I’m not so sure these “mean girls” are to blame to a certain extent at least. These are quite sheltered girls who are brainwashed into thinking being a DCC is something special. They then get into an elit team within this elite team (SG) and Kelli plays favorites to the point that of course affects said favorites. If we can give a pass to VK for lying and disrespecting Jinelle and her boss and give her a second chance (at least according to some), then we can absolutely understand why girls like Jenna and Erica took a wrong turn. Both seemed to move on and I’m happy for them.
  2. Can we collectively apologize to Jenna for making fun of her goinh to Shelley who was supposed to be more approachable instead of going to Kelli to ask for point, considering that it seems like they’re not supposed to contact them?
  3. I wouldn’t call a girl who not only couldn’t maintain weight but gained quite a lot, who has been prepping her whole life and still isn’t good, who lied and treated Jinelle and Kelli with disrespect insanely dedicated. By that logic, Brennan or Christina should be point because they’re certainly more committed to dcc and didn’t have their mommy’s help.
  4. But wouldn’t Queen Dany give him the castle? Not that there was ever a way Dany would become Queen with jamie and cersei still alive, so Tyrion inheriting the castle is pretty much a given.
  5. Which I don’t understand. I’m not even going to go into the fact that book!tyrion would never help Cersei at this point of the story. Show!tyrion actually told her that he wants to make her suffer (in a more eloquent way). He knows that she was going to have him killed out of spite. Then she tried to kill him once more through Bronn just a few days (or weeks?) before this episode. And yet he suddenly cares about her baby and the continuation of her line? Why? I wish we could expand on this more honestly. The north absolutely hates the Lannister and KL; they’ve lost the most because of them. We didn’t see anyone else second guessing Dany because they weren’t. For once they had the Queen on their side and they were able to get revenge on those who had power over them for centuries and destroyed them. Which is why I think that the most realistic ending would be all the kingdoms breaking up, or at the very least get a northern and southern kingdom. Exactly. And even though her family was in westeros for centuries and that she was born there and only had to flee when the lannisters and baratheons slaughtered her whole family, she is a “foreign queen”? And she’s not allowed to get revenge for what happened to her family and the life she lost because of them, because the past is in the past. And yet, people still bring her father into the discussion. I do think that the SL in the books would be more about her thinking this is fake and Cersei would attack her the moment she let her guard down, specifically because Tyrion urged her to call off the attack and she didn’t trust him anymore. I thought that’s what they were going for on the show as well... Can you write the last book? This is amazing and explains everything. I don’t like that Rhaegar was fabulous, Viserys was a weirdo but definitely not mad, Jon is broody but amazing otherwise and Dany is the one who ended up mad out of all the targs. Really? And if we get this justification we will at least understand her point of view. I do think that it’s strange no one bat an eye when Robert killed Rhaegar who was so popular just because his father was mad. They were fine with him wiping out the targs. They were fine with Lannisters making the realm suffer. They were fine with Cersei blowing up the Sept using a fire that can’t be put out (compared to dragon fire) and then sitting her ass on the throne while she had absolutely no claim to it. And yet they draw a hard line on the foreign queen? Who wouldn’t have been a foreignerer in the first place had they not destroyed her family? I’m so with her on this and I’m still horrified by her actions. I definitely agree with you. I hate that he is supposed to be the best, when he is a kinslayer (yes we cheered him on but that’s another story), who pledged his loyalty to Dany and then betrayed her and became a traitor. He gave her bad advice time and time again and mostly to help his family and get revenge when it mattered to him (e.g taking casterly rock which was pointless). And yet he is still supposed to be the best and gets to judge Dany who was right all along. At least they should acknowledge this on the show.
  6. Well maybe then if his ressurection amounts to something, I can get behind the parentage SL being just a bait. I don’t see a way of confirming this anyway or that people outside of the north would follow Jon for being a secret targ when they don’t like or want the known targ. But so far Jon got the biggest wtf moments in both book and show, for what? Martin could have kept him with the wildings to begin with or keep him dead and we could still get the same storylines for everyone else.
  7. I get your point and I agree that female characters are unfairly judged for minor things and things that male characters get praise for. I just think this argument with Jon not being lord commander is silly. He got ressurected with no new LC in place. He was alive and the LC still when he passed the judgement that a new LC would also pass anyway. Then he left and named Edd his successor and no one questioned that in the show because it’s not an actual problem. If it was, none of the northern lords would have accepted him. And in the same vain, we could argue that Dany wasn’t the actual Queen when she sentenced the Tarlys or Varys to death, so this was murder. I also don’t agree with this statement, but it’s the same with Jon not being the LC means he’s a murderer. I also don’t agree with people taking Ned’s quote to heart. First of all, this is a northern statement and it’s not just Dany who ignores it. If anything, Dany uses her weapon to execute people, just like Ned used his sword. Not sure how inexperienced Dany actually using a sword and butchering the beheading would be kinder to the person who has to die miserably.
  8. The thing is, if you change things for the show and prop up certain characters because their actors are better, then you need to change how your story ends. I doubt Cersei survives that long in the books or that Martin will ignore the prophecy and have her die this way. Why change that to serve Lena but not other things that would make the story you built make sense? And also, one important difference with the rest of inadequate Kings and Queens was that they had strong and loyal advisors next to them, they chose to ignore them and paid for their mistakes-especially Rob and Ned. Dany has awful advisors who have betrayed her but she is paranoid for no reason? Cersei has loyal advisors even though she is a despicable human being with no right to the throne whatsoever. If they had portrayed Dany’s camp as capable and loyal and her being paranoid for no reason, I could buy the whole turning mad storyline. She has every right to be paranoid in her situation though and according to the spoilers, she lets her guard down for Jon and that’s what gets her killed. While the other monster of the series at least died with her lover next to her.
  9. Yeah I know! And I definitely wasn’t shading @UNOSEZ! I just find it funny that we take offense with things that clearly don’t matter or aren’t viewed as “bad” within this universe and I piggy-bagged on her comment!
  10. Sexual harassment has nothing to do with consesual “fraternization”. Unless girls are supposed to run screaming the other direction everytime a man comes anywhere near them, they can still fall victims of sexual harassment. The non frat rule penalizes consensual relationships and mostly, penalizes the girls. Do we have a link? I like Lexie, but I think her blonde is too yellow for her and she needs to tone down the tanning.
  11. Considering that her dancing is at VK’s level, too bad she wasn’t brought on just like VK.... that’s what the right connections will do for ya! MY GIRL LACEY. She is the only one non-tc girl I’ve ever liked enough to keep an eye on. If Malena and VK make it to TC and Lacey doesn’t, i’ll fly to Dallas myself to fight Kelli. That’s smart on her side though. She knows VK is a done deal and they won’t really be able to justify cutting her for not looking good in the uniform while keeping VK. I mean like her or not, Jen wouldn’t even let her own daughter on the team if she didn’t have what it takes. She would be far better than Kelli. It’s sad though... It’s the first year I don’t see an obvious cut and we have so many good candidates to choose from. Sucks to know that VK will make it at the expense of one vet who’s proven herself or a tcu girl, a dmd, LACEY.
  12. I forgot about this... that seems really weird honestly. I don’t know why they’re so obsessed with seniority and strange rules.
  13. I’m sure Sam the other deserter who has created a family for himself will certainly get on Jon’s case. Even if Jon had left the NW immediately after being ressurected, don’t you think that the new LC would sentence them for killing the previous LC? Pretty sure this is as bad as ‘deserting’ the NW. Also, considering that Edd and Jon were the only NW men who actually fought the dead, I kinda feel like he did his duty.
  14. There’s no build up for Sansa on the throne as opposed to King Bran? Satisfying doesn’t mean we get what we wanted. Robb was always my favorite, I can’t rewatch the red wedding because it kills me everytime BUT it was “satisfying” in the sense that it made sense and I loved seeing the aftermath. This mess? Bronn the amoral sellsword who became somewhat tolerable through his friendship with the Lannister boys turned on them to get a castle. He did get Highgarden aka the most prosperous castle and sits on the council while we never saw him give a crap for anyone but himself. Yet Danny had to be neutralized and Jon sent to the north. And with Jon, I never cared about him but we had all these prophesies and spent so much time on his parentage reveal for what? Him taking the black because he technically killed the Queen who usurped him? Greyworm wouldn’t be checking up on westeros to make sure Jon is in exile. And why is Tyrion who was a bigger traitor still alive and on the council? And don’t forget that book!Tyrion isn’t that good so no, having another Lannister on the throne (technically speaking) isn’t satisfying. Danny saying one season “i’m not here to burn your cities” and do just that because people don’t love her when she never tried to get people on her side, isn’t satisfying. The Iron Throne somehow survived? And Drogon sees his dead mother and just nopes out? The dothraki can be reasoned with and they just nope out to go liberate slaves? A dragon getting killed in such a stupid manner, all battle tactics being ridiculous, a robot who doesn’t care about being a lord of whatever and doesn’t use his knowledge to help anyone on the throne isn’t satisfying. I’d rather have NK winning and wiping out westeros at this point. All these points may work for the books (which I doubt at this point but anyway), but not for the series. They needed more time to tell this story and actually, because of their decision to rush the final season it’s like we’ve been watching a different show. GOT never was all about the big battles. We had one or two per season and then spent the rest of the episodes getting to know the characters and their motivations. This season feels like a cheap action movie version of GOT.
  15. Soo Kelsey B’s party is sponsored by Bumble. Kinda ironic considering that the other Kelsey got trashed for using sponsorships to pay for her wedding and she isn’t as rich as Kelsey B.
  16. The turnout is sad and it doesn’t look like we have that many strong contenders, so let’s brace ourselves for DCC VK and DCC Malena....
  17. Exaxtly, any of the Starks on the throne would get fan approval, and especially the Stark kid who was almosted murdered by the last Queen-what a great f*ck you to the Lannisters and especially Cersei. But Bran is long gone. Exactly! They went to great lengths to show that this isn’t Bran Stark anymore, so I’m not happy with King 3ER.
  18. I don’t like Isaac’s attitude. First of all, tv careers are made by fans whether you like it or not, and yes that means you should leave them satisfied at the end. That doesn’t mean they had to deliver a disney-esque finale but this is a mess. And if it’s truly the book ending as well, then i understand why Martin can’t finish them. I feel sorry for all the book fans who spent 20 years of their lives waiting for the reveal of Jon’s parentage that didn’t actually amount to anything. And since D&D already knew that, why did they make such a big deal out of it? We’ve had more scenes discussing the importance of this reveal than proping up Jonerys. Then basically, we spent 7 seasons waiting for them to rise, but eventually both of them get crappy endings. And Jon got ressurected to just brood for 2 more seasons? Aand if you know that Bran will end up as the most important character, you don’t write him off the show for a whole season. I doubt he has a legit fanbase as a character, and i personally don’t give a damn about a mysterious raven/tree who hasn’t given us that much overall, given also that this ‘character’ basically killed Bran Stark. Bran as a character got the worst ending: attempted murder, crippledom, separated from his family and then his last brother, then lost his carers and during his ‘end’ he was forced to see exactly how the rest of his family was murdered or abused. Yes, such a great story! And I’m supposed to like the 3ER for what reason exactly? So yeah, maybe Isaac truly feels this is deserved, but I’m glad people are lashing out on D&D. Their job was to make the end satisfying and they destroyed it by making all the wrong storytelling choices. They deserve the criticism.
  19. Right, I forgot that! Sorry Jon, you’re slightly less stupid!
  20. And yet, he is hailed as hero. I actually like Dany, Jon and Sansa all for different reasons. But we’ve been rooting for Dany for so long and suddenly we’re told she is awful and mad when we don’t see it, but Jon keeps making mistakes and we’re told he’s a hero. If they had dealt with Cersei when Dany still had her whole army and 3 dragons, they would have even more soldiers to fight the NK. It was Jon’s idea to go on a hunt to convince Cersei to help. It was Jon’s fault Cersei got the idea to let the North be killed instead of helping them and then having them stand by Dany. I don’t fault her for thinkinh just that: either we all die, or just you die and I suffer no losses. The only “bad” thing Dany did since coming to Westeros was burning the Tarlys. But do people forget that these bastards had just betrayed the house they sweared an oath to? To help the Lannisters of all people? And they had the chance to bend the knee to the Queen with the Dragons and chose not to. Don’t tell me they didn’t want to betray the house they served considering they just did the same to the Tyrells...
  21. Honestly, this is why i don’t understand the North’s reaction to Jon vs Dany. Dany came to westeros to make her claim as Queen of the 7 kingdoms. She had no reason to give North their independence. Jon knew that the North chose to make Robb the first KITN after centuries as they didn’t want to be ruled by the IT anymore. When they were freed from the Boltons, they made him KITN, not “lord of winterfell”. Jon was the one who betrayed them because he fell for Dany. She isn’t at fault here.
  22. The writing is terrible, but this is what is canon, so we can’t judge any of the characters on what we assume, as we all interpret characters and scenes in different ways. I personally think that the past few seasons and especially in S8 the writers are telling us one thing and showing something else. I like Dany and I don’t understand how others see her as mad or why we’re supposed to believe it. I also like Sansa and even those who hate her should understand that the girl who knew how to pretend she was still loyal to Joffrey while he was publicly abusing her, wouldn’t be bitch facing Dany left and right. She would at least pretend to like her. Dany always cared about family and believes to be barren, so she wouldn’t let her line to die with her just to make sure she won’t lose her claim. Nome of them would be stupid enough to run straight to Euron’s trap. I just think that they’re trying to reach the important stuff from GRM’s plot without working for it. That’s why we get told stuff instead of seeing them for ourselves, why Rhaegal died so stupidly etc.
  23. AND let’s not forget that these are the same experienced military commanders who didn’t think to send scouts for a possible ambush in dragonstone...
  24. And yet, none of them said a thing about their troops being ready to fight or having spoken to their generals. Apart from Jon, the rest are Dany’s soldiers so of course they wouldn’t say anything against her. I understand that you don’t like Sansa, but there’s no reason to take as canon things that weren’t shown on the show. You have plenty of things to judge her for that she has actually done.
  25. If they had, they would have said just that to Sansa. They didn’t, so why should we assume they had checked and just didn’t bother bringing it up?
