I really wish this show wasn't ending.. They can always tell stories and so many of the characters new and old are engaging... As I was never the biggest Quentin Fan... ( Marge and OG penny were my fave) him leaving the show didn't bug me the way it has for others... Maybe they'll get a surge of support and if the primary ppl want to keep going they'll get picked up somewhere else at least for a satisfying ending

And that's my beef... He's basically the first male lead... And he has/had chemistry with both and if they had just paired him with George from jump.. I'd be ok.. But they attached him to the star.. Then pulled the rug on that foe "reasons" at least this show had the decency to have Nancy acknowledge it was more on her than anything he did.. Some shows ( looking at you God friended Me) wouldn't even do that... So I've got the history of seeing a presumptive lead love interest get pushed out of the for somebody else effectively taking screen time they would've had being attached to the main character... And the fact that the show even just did an episode that he nay be her ONE... But him and George do really vibe well... But them going there really means any possible Nick/Nancy reunion that doesn't make both of them look like dbags and would have to wait...

The second Ryan said he was allergic to I guess wasps or whatever and Nancy did too I started to wonder if he was secretly her dad.. But I didn't think the ages matched up... So is she really 20 and thinking she's 19? Also if Ryan and Lucy and Karen were all teenagers in 2000 exactly how old are Carson and his wife.. Cuz wasn't Karen.. Or didn't she become best friends with the wife... Plus they didn't use younger actors for the flashback so it all feels weird... Anyway glad for a new mystery... Boy Karen is gonna have some feelings about that.. As well as Ryan... I think he's a fun screwuo dad... Sucks we gotta wait a month tho

He's a handsome white guy with real manpain and a dead wife.. He's also go main character pheromones.. Which seem to attract all types no matter how odd it all seems

True.. But if you look at how wally was treated when he was on the show.. Many times Barry treated him as an afterthought.. That he as the elder speedster knew better... Which was probably true.. But it constantly felt to Wally that he was being benched in a way... So this outburst (with the added line that he tried and was blown off and barry's reaction in this very episode*) shows the culmination of wally's experience as the junior flash... Which is Barry doing something ( even for good and just reasons) and then dealing with.. Or in this case not dealing with the repercussions on his own even though the repercussions affect more ppl than just him

Don't love Jacqueline or the show blaming the breakup on her husband resenting her career... The episodes i saw made it seem he was always supportive and actually put his career on hold.. And when she was let go the plan was she step back and he gets back out there... She went back on that and had even less time for him than before

I loved Nick and Ace being all Hardy boys... Something about Nancy is off putting... Her talk with Karen just didnt sit right with me... But then Karen was apparently always meant to be a punching bag... And Owen ugh...

If I listened correctly... Wally wasn't just mad that Barry did something that had a negative impact on the speedforce... He was mad that even though he could see something was going on he said nothing.. And wally said he blew him off.. So I'm guessing even with his peace corps stuff he tries to reach out to Barry to see if anything weird was happening to him... Barry didn't respond.. He's mad Barry procrastinated cuz that put all the other speedsters at risk apparently... I hope wally returns... I know he was criminally underused, on both shows if I'm being honest but where his character is now would be a good place to have him return to the waverider... Especially with Ray leaving

Strong episode having wally back was fun... That trick with the copter and with the flower were awesome and its cool he recognized something was off with his sister.. I think others will start to notice more and more now...

And unfortunately Caramel just can't be counted on to ask the tough questions... Especially about what the GA can do... Then again I'm not sure she's forgiven the GA for her step dad... So maybe she does think its powerful enough to help... But she's a journalist so you'd think some sober skepticism would apply... But nope.. She's got a date with Adam and that's easier than dealing with the random breakup her messy family or the fact that her desperate ex thinks helping FS will cure his sister of cancer

Show... Why even mess around with a riley/mac scenario.. Leave em be.. As they are... Agreed its prob not Maddie.. But I would accept it if it somehow proved that the lady that betrayed them in season one was actually innocent the whole time ( partly because I believed she wasn't guilty) I'd love for that wildness to be the case

I think more Jo, right there would've made her more sympathetic... And rightly so... I woulda liked to hear more from her but I imagine they're saving her more robust reaction ( and the folks around her) for later... This seems to be the season of ppl going for their happiness no matter who it hurts.. And well sometimes ppl are selfish, that's life Karev admitted he was doing a scumbag thing.. He had valid reasons.. And I imagine if I decided to leave a woman I'm in love with to go be with a woman who may have been my first love who also had my kids ( with his background) I think I'd have to chicken out and go dark then write a letter or something to... To face her.. Woof that would be too hard... Not a particularly proud statement but true... And this is Grey's ppl do scumbag stuff all the time... The show started with Derek cheating on his wife... Meredith Pity-banged George when he was like full on in love with her.. George cheated on Callie.. Arizona cheated on Callie... April left her fiance at the altar to run off with Jackson... Meredith Dissapears for months... April leaves Jackson for like a year plus after their baby died.. I mean these cries of character assassination seem strong to me... Hell Alex and Owen forced that guy who Jo almost beat to death to quit cuz he grabbed her... Alex almost killed Deluca and went to jail for like two episodes of Law and Order....

It would've been nicer.. But then Jo ( as she's been written) picks up and moves to Kansas to be with her guy or she stays for her "career" and then she's the character who isn't trying to make it work.. The one actively keeping the couple apart.. That means weeks on the show of ppl asking what she's gonna do.. Airtime spent on a character who isn't there and it still ends with her as kinda the bad guy... That's unfair to Camilla I appreciated Richard's part I liked how he equated it with what happened with ellis

To me.. It was kill him or come up with something so big he couldn't come back and concievably ppl like Jo, Mer, Bailey and Webber wouldn't go after him... Him caring for a parent or sibling.. Taking a job somewhere.. Hell even wandering off on some walkabout could've and would've had one of them chasing him down... This way ties are cut.. Ppl don't have to linger.. With the added benefits of... Possible return for the end of the series... So I mean I'm good.. But as I've seen and said on this and other boards... I wasn't that big of a Karev fan.. So this really wasn't as major as when George or izzie or Lexi or Mark left or died Also it let's the writers play around a bit more with the ppl left behind.. If he dies.. Its just grief for a while... This some may be livid... Some may wanna destruct.. Who knows... I'll be watching

I think it was just to illustrate that until this elsewhere stuff ahead sabotaged herself.. Even at the Pride event surrounded by ppl who were ostensibly giving her love and support she couldn't take it so she ran away.. And she ran away again when Peter said how she made him feel.. Wasn't until the end that she finally began to accept some love.. And stopped letting herself sabotage things

Having agency doesn't make you infallible.. Tom has a track record of being the let's say supportive guy around women who seem to be having emotionally charged times... Of course these women are adults so all choices are their own.. But besides those emotional times with the women Koracik is pompous and abrasive.. Smarmy.. And when Teddy chose owen he became vindictive and petty... So to me his behavior with the women is just something he goes to to shoot his shot.. But if I'm being to hard and one wanted to try to give him some leeway.. He's only emotionally real and able to be vulnerable ( thus taking down his walls or whatever) around women in raw states.... And then makes himself available to sleep with them... Or hits on them... Or hits on them in front of their husbands... But as they say on these Interwebs YMMV

Fredwynn running the reverse trace to get all their numbers was pitch perfect.. Loved Simone telling Peter how she felt.. Janice is a treasure and already treats the rest of them like her grandkids... Looking forward to next epi

Poor Jennifer.. Hubris... Gravedigger is the first official meta.. But he had the gene and I gotta imagine that means whichever sibling he had that spawned one of Jeff's parents had it to... So ima go out on a limb abd say some other person in history along the way activated their meta powers... I hope in the next crossover before all the mess hits the fan we get an episode of ppl just talking to each other.. Possible differences between greenlight Particle Accelarator dark matter metas... How long Jeff has been dealing with being a meta... Meta genetics as the only ones I remember who had meta kids Are Jeff and Barry... Well I guess we don't need a huge crossover just Barry and Iris on BL.. Or the pierce Fam on Flash... Either way works...

Upthread someone said they coulda just killed him and gotten on with it.. But they seem to forget about the aftermath and how that impacts the rest of this season and beyond couldn't just have him be dead and Go back to regularly scheduled programming... Dead Karev wrecks Jo, Meredith, Bailey and Richard... And touches Owen Teddy Amelia Link and Jackson.. Not only them but how they interact with each other and whatever changes had to be made to storylines that were up and running.. And to the new ones created... All that basically to do since maybe Late November when he filmed his last epi( so holiday season) while also filming what they did have prepared... And trying to honor an actor who put in work for almost 20 years and fanbase who are really attached to the character...

She's under contract and isn't ready to go.. Or disappear for episodes at a time... All of this had to be negotiated and mapped out at least a lil.. Probably why we've had a few episodes and were all in limbo.. But when they reveal exactly what's going on then I can make a judgment on how its been handled

Thank you... All this talk of character assassination when the final play hasn't even happened yet.. But I do know they were scrambling because it has to make some sense and for all the characters sticking around.. In universe how long has it been since he left tho? A week two, longer?... I do kinda scoff at Jo going with he's left me before being worried something is wrong... Maybe next week clears most of it up
