  1. Quinn's fighting style went up a notch; didn't think he could or would pull off a double high-kick like that, and then the movement on the beam was sweet. As for Sonny not finishing off Quinn when he lay on the ground after two clear stabs through the chest and significant impact trauma, that was when I knew Veil was due to die. Anyone else would have stabbed Quinn several times in the back and watched him bleed out for good measure. The finale was a bit of tease with several characters near death but brought back. For me, Tilda should have died and would have served as a decent mental haunting for The Widow throughout season three. I find it lazy writing that the second in- command defects and will ultimately become the Widow's downfall. And its getting annoying how Quinn's wife (cannot remember her name) remains alive after having no defensive skills (ha, i guess survival is one). This Azzra plot needs to be revealed now. Initially I enjoyed imagining and wondering what the place was but i'm tired of getting teased without much allusion.
  2. This show was cute, off-beat viewing for me. I'am a bit disappoint that its gone because I've got nothing similar to replace it with. Season 2 was weak. It regressed with having Ben do the typical transition from bad to good. Also, all side characters and stories deviating from the main were sidelined.
  3. They're hiding the fact they've always had more bone than meat where this show is concerned.
  4. I agree with everything you've said. As for the bit in bold, his little speech in his hospital bed alluded to who he might be. I must say I did wonder why someone would hook up with Sara knowing who she is.
  5. It would be a great creative arc if she was forced to kill a woman, as that would really put her in an emotional tailspin.
  6. Yes, I agree that - with new writers - and the new creative direction with the descendants, the show could revive itself. But I doubt a whole new team of writers & producers would be allowed to start anew.
  7. Fair enough. But I don't share the same enthusiasm for a continuation, two reasons, 1) There isn't much story left 2) The show failed to state what makes a Grimm special.
  8. As soon as Hank and Wu died I knew we were getting a time-travel or redo of some sort, Grimm Producers don't have the balls to go through with any significant deaths to the main cast. Though, cos it is the end, thought they might be more bold and go all out. Not sure how the skull guy thing was resolved or why we even saw the events we did. It was a lacklustre end to the show for me, and it was creepy seeing Dianna eye up her suitor several times. Seeing Nick & Adaline together highlighted just how wrong their union is, I just can't get on board with what they have been through and how they are together at this stage. It also detracts from the whole character Adalind once was. I know see her as a baby machine and forget what a formidable menace she could be. Shame really.
  9. I feel like the show has lost something, or maybe it's the tribal stuff that is waning on me. I want it to go back to two opposing clans like the Skycrew vs the Grounders. Or maybe another clan to make the skycrew into slaves for a season, so we can see the internal workings of another tribe on the ground. It would link into the survival theme of the show, too. But I digress. Most recent ep was boring for me because it felt like a filler episode. I knew Clarke was going to offer herself up; shelter would be found (Couldn't help but think about 'LOST' the whole time with that). But thought Luna would somehow escape having previously mentioned how she knew Clarke's people would forcibly extract her bone marrow if she didn't cooperate. Murphy swearing vengeance on Clarke was good. Don't think he really got his full revenge for being exiled back in season one. So, even though Emori wasn't sacrificed, he may still take umbrage with his people and begin a slow break away (again) but with deadly consequences this time.
  10. Didn't know the ratings were that bad, but on its writing alone it deserved a cancelation. No jeopardy or suspense, and why Wells doesn't just kill the Ripper every opportunity he gets is beyond me.
  11. Does it? You would presumably take his West African surname.
  12. Very true. I think it was deliberately not stated what he died of, or not clearly shown on the death certificate. But it would be cool to have a mini-Ripper on the loose.
  13. Well, she'd be a fool to pass on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity . Plus no-one would ever believe the truth. Win-Win!
  14. I didn't like the pilot, but the following episodes have really expanded the story by adding depth to it. Especially the additional characters who all know & anticipated Jack the Ripper's arrival in modern times. Not too keen on H.G Wells and Jane coupling up so quickly. Not that I'd rather a long-winded 'Will they/won't they' scenario, just something different would've been preferred. With the way they are portraying John, the writers are unintentionally making him into an enhanced human with ridiculous skills of perception, adaptability and intelligence. He suffers no drawbacks from being out of time as a man from 1893. They seem to think a scientist of any discipline is well-equipped to deal with time-travel. Odd. Save your son from death and earn his trust immediately.
  15. Thought the same. My only guess is he wants to break Sunny and enjoys oppressing an elite subject.
  16. I was thinking the same thing. I'd even do it knowing full well Renard would kill me. Saying that, I wouldn't be surprised if Diana couldn't be killed considering how powerful she is.
  17. Didn't find the episode that entertaining but found the land they were in very interesting. I wonder if these Wesens are 'pure bloods' before human mixing? They've never really discussed why Wesen are in human form most of their daily life, could be just to fit in I guess. I think Red Skull's brother will purge Eve of her hexenbiest side and allow her to live a human life as Eve. That will be her happy ending.
  18. Looking forward to the show's return (not realised its been 15 months away). Some interesting events should play out well over the course of season 2. Though, not too keen on the Widow's storyline, I like the character in action & what she stands for, but not too keen on her being a focus point. A bit like Quinn last season, he worked as a focal point to a degree but wasn't that individually interesting.
  19. Before the show ends I hope we get a series of flashbacks revealing 'A's face buying all the equipment in stores and on trips.
  20. Not a fan of Wigg (honestly cannot abide by any of these former SNL alumi, to be honest. Their brand of comedy isn't for me), so hope she doesn't join permanently. I think the show is still declining and has possibly reached the point of no return in that it cannot rejuvenate itself. The show seems to be carrying a lot of dead weight/underused characters in Gail, Erica and before his death, Lewis. I would include Todd, but he does appear to be Tandy's antithesis so works well with him.
  21. Decent episode. Seems the producers are really ramping things up for an explosive ending.
  22. ...also OWNED by Mary Hart. He's funny and cute. I would like to see some more 'Little & Large' adventures just so Tucker can rattle off some bimbo jokes.
  23. Underwhelmed by the reveal of Prometheus because 1) it had little impact on me 2) its always one of the newish cast members. Plus, the guy doesn't really have the physique or stature portrayed by Prometheus, so it doesn't seem like a decent fit in that regard. It was rather shitty for Paul to drag Curtis to a posh restaurant to serve him divorce papers. Was he scared Curtis may beat him up in private or something? I want to mention the reporter for the simple matter of stating I want her gone. Too much time is devoted to Oliver's love life and his struggle for romance vs heroism. Its been done enough times now.
