No matter what is said, It’s going to be painful to be without Dean Winchester when the show ends. Even in this past episode, I almost stood up and cheered when Jack quoted Dean, “Dean says all music made after 1979 sucks ass.” For me, it’s as bad as losing Hendrix or Levon Helm. End of an era.

Loved that ep Old school Supernatural Meta episode, silly, weird and funny. Best line "Your not God. God has a beard" Just needed one classic rock song and it would've been great. I know people didn't like it, not sure why. There's so few funny episodes these days.

If your going to kill Michael, have Dean (or Sam or Cass) stab him in his freaking face, Zachariah style. Problem solved. Everyone goes out for ice cream and strippers.

Dean's back for now. Yay! But they could've trotted out the Americana theme at the end. That's all I got.

Doesn’t totally make sense. What happens when Dean comes back now, What is he going to be doubly pissed at Michael. Major drama with Dean and Cass? Just too much stuff going on.

Echoing what Sue B. just said in my own, more terse and guyish sort of way. An old school Supernatural! Well done, all round. And a good Dean episode, great Allman Bos. song. This guy requires no more.

I was going to say that Supernatural has become painful to watch without Dean. But he’s back and I don’t even care why. Seriously, I’ll watch 50 mins of bad writing just to hear Dean say, “Sammy, I’m back.”

Is there anyway they can bring Crowley back? Seriously, they mentioned him like 10 times during that seriously stupid demon fight scene. They really need the freaking guy. It’s worse than losing Bobby (although they never really lost Bobby).

I don't know, I'm not that excited about Michael/Dean. I, personally, just want Dean back and being Dean. Why do we need him to be someone else? Dean's the best part of the show (imo) and we need him. Imo, anytime Dean spends not being Dean is a waste of time. But that's just me. Does anyone know if there's any talk of bringing back any old characters? I hope they bring back Crowley but they prob won't do it until the last season (15?)

Is he going to be 40 years old or do they count his 40 years in hell also? So maybe he's like going to be 80.

Yeah, maybe. But the Robert Johnson episode was spot on and cool. If Robert Johnson's record wasn't recorded or distributed by John Hammond, music wouldn't be the same. Probably would be no rock and roll, no Dylan, no Stones, no Led Zep. Kripke was right about that. Also, the episode had a young Muddy Waters and Bessie Smith. Maybe next time, Rittenhouse wants to stop Dylan from meeting The Band or The Ramones from going down to CBGB's. -

Your binge watching the show Timeless and you notice Cass is playing Eliot Ness and Bobby is playing some evil boss guy. One scene where evil Bobby on Timelesss yells, "Singer," and some other guy comes over and you realize that it's a shoutout to Supernatural. -
Yeah, I agree. A few episodes of Michael, than back to Dean. The show needs badass Dean back. Although I am cool with having Bobby, Charlie, Ketch, Rowena and Mary (I guess) fighting with Sam, Jack and Cass. Bring back Crowley too. And Gabriel again.

I don’t get how they are going to power up Jack. Right now, he’s basically useless if I understand things. He.either needs to eat Michael/Deans grace or Cage Michaels grace or Lucifer is still alive with his grace. What other options are there? They can’t keep him as just a human character, imo. I, personally, don’t want evil Dean around too long. I’ll just miss real Dean. But they do have a cool cast of characters ready for next season. I just want au Bobby to say, “we’re boned.”

Oy, I just rewatched the episode. It was better the second time but if I understand things correctly, Jack has lost all his powers and he’s basically useless now, Dean/Michael is in, like, Cincinnati now ready to nuke the world, Cass, Mary , Bobby, etc are in the bunke, all depressed. Things are really bad right now. They have to get Rowena, Ketch and Charlie back to the bunker and make some kind of plan. My guess is that they somehow get Jack to eat Dean/Michaels archangel grace to power him up or he will be a useless character. We need Dean back quickly and somehow Billies going to help I think. That’s all I got.
