SPN Eye Candy: Drooling Over The Actors And Characters
Pondlass1 replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Supernatural
And you were right!!!!!!! Fit like a glove. :) -
Is it possible Jared's actually grown another inch? He's looking even taller in episodes lately.

I wish North America (and everywhere else) would discontinue Daylight Saving Time. It really messes with me for days.

Supernatural Bitterness & Unpopular Opinions: You All Suck
Pondlass1 replied to mstaken's topic in Supernatural
Although I enjoyed the caper episode more than most - I have to admit my expectations are low at this point in time. And I agree the thing with Dean and food is so irritating I want to throttle Jensen for going along with it. The writing has grown increasingly tired and unimaginative. It's a shame because everything else is pretty darn good compared to some other TV series I've seen. Acting, directing, lighting and sets, etc . But originality and imagination of storytelling have gone out the window. And everyone they encounter is a one-dimensional stereotype now. Someone mentioned the lack of urgency nowadays and I have to agree. I can remember having that little tug in my gut as I watched the early episodes - like, how will they get out of this one? - but now I'm about as lackadaisical about the supernatural goings on as the brothers. -
SPN Eye Candy: Drooling Over The Actors And Characters

Jensen must've been prettier than some of his girlfriends. And he surely was hit on by guys too. -
Well, that made me cry. When it's all put together like that it's quite a punch to the heart. Sometimes I just want to hug Dean and never let go.

I began watching during season 7 and I think we used to get 1.0 and 0.9 back then. But everything's dropped across the board. Network tv is relying more and more on cheap reality tv offerings

You give the writers more credit than they're due. It's just throw away stuff that means nothing, Next week it could be Dean clutching at pearls over something. It's all shock and awe, with no depth or consequence any more. Dabb & Co don't even know Sam or Dean.

I don't think we've ever got an 0.5 before have we?
-
I think if they move us to Sundays next season, we're dead.
-
With this current uprising against guns - I don't think we'll ever see a scene like this again especially when it's humans who are the antagonists.
-
It's going to be a mad rush at the end... unless it just all carries over to season 14?

This series really highlights how the fat deposits itself in different places on different humans. I have a friend who's quite a bit overweight, she has skinny legs and will probably always have skinny legs, but the fat is all around her torso, boobs, shoulders and especially her back. She's beginning to get that 'apron' effect with her stomach. But she loves to bake and eat. I envy her the skinny legs. If I gain weight it's always my thighs and bum - and it's so hard to lose weight in those areas. The woman who broke the toilet had rolls of fat around her face. Yet some of the others featured on this show are vastly overweight but don't even have a double chin. I guess it's all in the genes.

Jensen looks good in any lighting, but the lighting and atmosphere in this episode was great - I thought anyway, but what do I know? Lots of different sets, both interior and exterior shots. The episode had a richness about it, like they'd spent some of the budget. (Maybe should've forked out for some decent writers, but still ...). The comment about their cheap outfits seemed so out of place considering the guy was sat with donut dust all over himself and his silly clothing. They looked like GQ models!! I'd love an episode of them shopping for FBI outfits.

Honestly this ^ made me laugh out loud. I enjoyed the episode for some damn reason. I like a caper movie with everyone double crossing everyone else (maybe it's the Brit in me). But Sam is getting irritating with this high horse nonsense. It's actually making him really unlikeable. Judge not lest ye be judged... and all that, Sam. Best bit was Dean's announcement that he'd torture and then murder anyone who stole Baby. Jensen was marvellous and he carried it through with expressions and everything. I think Dean loves Baby maybe a wee bit more than he loves his brother? Baby never judges. The Priest being the Holy Man who could provide the blood was obvious from the minute he announced who he was and waxed all profound and wise all over the place. There were even tweets. It was pretty obvious. But subtlety is rarely the thing anymore - in almost any hour long TV series episode. I hate spring hiatuses. It all has be spaced out for May Sweeps. Expect ratings to dip.

Only 26 posts following the episode? Yikes this is gonna be bad! Apathy is like death.

Wait.. What?! The next episode is March 29th? doesnt sound like the ratings will be good. Maybe they stepped too far outside the box

I don't think this episode is going to be popular. But I loved it. It was like a caper movie. And it looked and felt expensive for some reason. they can't be subtle to save their lives tho. I has the priest pegged as the holy man right away. Certainly not Dean, the guy that would torture and then murder anyone that stole Baby. Lol loved it!!!

I am preparing myself for 14 to be it. ?????

I have to admit Jared has the lofty condescending look down pat.

Great list. I watched Folsom Prison Blues just the other day. Dean just fits in anywhere and the chicken ain't half bad. But this resurrected Mary has spoiled my enjoyment of earlier episodes. somewhat I wish Amara had given Dean some other gift - a black leather jacket for instance.

I think this is one episode where we need a follow up. That swinging pendulum was mind boggling. I want to see how they dealt with it. I wish they'd change up the format a bit. I don't want to see the horrific morning shower routine. And the views of rivers and mountains while the subject reads an inspirational poem is becoming laughable. And I wish they wouldn't rush it all at the end. I have the same issue with the Hoarding series. The person stands amid filth and cockroaches clinging to some disgusting stuffed animal they cannot part with, but in the final five minutes the house is somehow all cleaned up and they are ok with it. So what happened?

I was hoping we'd see her after the mass was removed. It would make all the difference in the world for her. But it's nice to see a success story.

After seeing The Shape of Water I really wish they hadn't killed off Eileen. I really liked that character. I remember one scene that must've been filmed on a cold damp night and Shoshannah's nose was quite visibly red - I guess makeup didn't notice or whatever - but that red nose really endeared her to me. Everyone dies, but Lucy lives on...

I'd sign up for a supernatural themed cruise with all the cast on board. I'll have to rob a bank or something and use a spell to possess the body of a swimsuit model... But it'd be incredible.... Jensen says being on a cruise is like staying at a hotel where you can't leave. Lol
