  1. Let's hope Dabb doesn't do the unthinkable and have Crowley return with a different actor / new vessel

  6. There is a commentary, but I haven't listened! Good point about checking it. I'll try and do that later today to see if it gives any insight :)
  7. According to the blu ray box those are the episodes meant to be on mine also. I wonder if it was a manufacturer error or something. Thanks for confirming those are the eps meant to be on it :)
  8. Does anyone else own the season 6 Blu Ray? According to the box I'm supposed to get the anime episodes of All Hell Breaks Loose Parts I and II as special features, but I got the anime episode Skins and Till Death Do Us Part instead. Is it just me?

  10. I don't think I saw this posted already? http://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/supernatural-season-13-100-actress-guest-cw-series/ I don't watch the 100, or know the actress in general, so I've no real opinion on this. Just posting for others to see :)
  11. I agree that it could easily go both ways! One could go with Sam made up some excuse not to go through with it and they just slept, or one can believe they had sex together! Either way, I really dislike the fact that the scene was written in a way that left that ambiguity there, and IMO it was filmed in a way that implies they did go through with it. If Edlund didn't want us to think it happened I'd have preferred something like "I'm really not in the mood tonight. I'm really beat" or something to explicitly shows us Sam said no. I have personally chosen to live in denial land and assume Sam put a stop to things, but I can definitely see why others view it differently.
  12. I totally agree with you on this! I don't think it was how Sam was using his powers that Dean had an issue with! It was the fact that he was using them in the first place! Dean hates demon, always has and especially after hell, and he didn't want to see his brother risk turning into one by channeling powers that came from them.
  13. I can definitely see that interpretation too! But either way I think Misha does a great job of conveying that Cas was nowhere near as confident as he seemed. His acting choice was subtle and all in the eyes rather than the need for dialogue to convey this.
  14. I especially love the last gif! It's all in the eyes and IMO Misha manages to convey a sense of "wow, I can't believe that really worked."
  15. I'm really not a fan of this one! I don't actively dislike it, but I mostly find it meh and find myself doing other things while it airs. The only scenes I really like are the Kripke slow motion death with Western music, the boys and their numerous takes and the build up to "you married fake Ruby" My biggest complaints about the episode are the lack of logic. They could make blood calls in a magicless universe... Really show? And the scene which heavily implies Sam and Genevieve had sex. Considering the fact she didn't know who he was there are major consent issues there and just ew!
  16. Another few examples inspired by rewatching season 6 and reading the episode threads. 1) When it came to deciding what to do about Soulless Sam; why were the only options save his soul and put it back in his body (which was argued by Dean and is good) or leave his soul to rot in the cage rather than risking damaging his body (which is bad and argued by Bobby and Cas). Why was the obvious third solution never considered? Namely saving Sam's soul from the cage and sending it on to heaven. Obviously, the show was never going to make soulless a permanent thing, but it really should have been at least mentioned as a possibility. 2) The boys reaction to the whole purgatory thing. Why did it have to be Cas opens it or he stops completely? Why did no one consider working together to lessen the risks? What the show likes to forget is that Raphael winning and restarting the apocalypse was pretty bad news too. Since the boys had no viable alternatives shouldn't they have at least tried to work together? And then had them decide nope too risky. Rather than outright condemning. I'm fairly certain prior to the death of Alastair Sam was only capable of exorcism. The "now I can kill" line was meant to show his powers had advanced to a whole new level IMO. It is also why the previous uses showed the black smoke going on the floor, while Alastair lit up like someone killed by the knife.
  17. Wow that is stunning! Whoever made it is an incredible artist!

  19. This is me when I'm forced to think on how the writers treated Castiel in season 12.
  20. I'm not sure how relevant this is, but wasn't the crossroads demon able to resurrect Sam independently without issues?

  22. Actually, Crowley never directly states it himself during the episode. The closest he comes to confirming the demon's Intel is his lack of argument when Bobby refers to him as "king of the dirt bags (demons) ". It is the demon who is tortured by Bobby that reveals the info about Crowley's new position. The exchange from Weekend at Bobby's goes as follows: The show gave me the impression Dean was still unaware of Crowley's new position by the time of Family Matters as the two share this exchange. So that is why I was saying I found it surprising that Bobby failed to mention Crowley's position to Dean between Weekend at Bobby's and Family Matters. At a meta level, I assume the writers wanted Dean to find out from Crowley in a dramatic manner, but within the world of the show it doesn't really make sense unless he thought the demon was lying to him. *Show dialogue comes from the episode transcripts for Weekend at Bobby's and Family Matters on the superwiki.
  23. I've read it and there were no spoilers, at least I didn't pick up on them! Very little is said about the show, in terms of plots, as it mostly focuses on Misha as an individual and his work outside of the show :)
  24. He honesty looks really grumpy to me in that pic.
