I just hate it when bricks, which I like natural, are painted. Our fireplace was painted white when we moved in, and I wish it wasn't. There's a brick house in my walking area that someone actually painted black! I'm sure it was gorgeous before in its natural state. Anyway, I would not mount a TV there. My grandma was also born in Russia, in 1900. I know she came to the US very young, and I'm sure she never had a manicure or pedicure, as my mother grew up poor (Sear's catalog served as TP, and they had an outhouse.) I didn't know there was such a thing as a chiropodist. Mr. X is a disabled veteran, and even with a prescription from his VA practitioner, visits to a podiatrist were not covered by insurance. I guess it really is hit or miss.
