  1. It wasn't intended to be, lol. I don't think she's a good singer at all, but she's a musician and I think she'd really relate to teenaged students with a lot of care and compassion.
  2. Her family’s from Virginia. She’d be a great high school music teacher.
  3. You caught up very fast and your observations echo many of ours, @Baltimore Betty! In the earlier seasons, Kim and Barry were very clear that their kids couldn't have sugar (or at least very, very infrequently).
  4. Pretty sure saying that certain jobs are or aren't "real jobs" isn't only about the show and its characters. And, I asked you a question, I did not "critique" you. LOL And if he did discuss his work, he'd be accused of trying to use the show to sell more real estate.
  5. So now you have new criteria for what a "real job" is? LOL
  6. What difference does it make? The point is that he was successful enough selling real estate to support himself for many years (which takes work ethic) and apparently keeps his hand in the business (he sold a house on 10/7/21). He's also near or at the age when many people start to work less and transition to retirement. I'll be sure to let me FIL know that he didn't work at a "real job" for 40 years when he owned his own roofing company and funded his own pension, lol. But let's be consistent. If we're using company pensions and a 9 to 5 schedule to quantify "real jobs" then Matt hasn't worked at a "real job" in 20 years.
  7. Selling real estate is a "real job." According to his client reviews, Chris "shows up" when he needs to. I wasn't aware that earning a pension was the criterion by which jobs are quantified as "real." I guess all the doctors, small business owners, and other people who fund their own pension accounts don't have "real jobs," either. And, whether Tori has taught one year or 30 years, teaching Kindergarten is a career with longevity and even a pension. Matt didn't and doesn't "own and run" the farm independently, lol.
  8. Except that he's been a successful Realtor for many years. Aside from Molly and maybe Tori, he's about the only person who has or had a secure career with longevity. https://www.zillow.com/profile/IBMarek
  9. And neither does being 4 feet tall with short arms and legs.
  10. The double standard is astounding.
  11. Moriah wasn’t put in the middle, she knowingly made choices that resulted in the situation.
  12. There’s a smallish casino about 10 minutes outside OC, MD, so it’s possible she spent some money there, but it’s not a casino destination like AC.
  13. She could have taken her kids to Disney for that kind of money.
  14. I'm born and raised in MD and have been to OC, MD many times and if she spent $7,000 there, she's a bigger fool than she already seems to be. It's a nice enough place, but isn't upscale and it isn't like it's even peak season!
  15. My question is who Ari's parents paid off so Bini's suddenly allowed to come to and stay in the US.
  16. This may sound heartless, but I have a hard time believing his heart is so broken because he was awfully quick to put himself in potentially the same situation again.
  17. We don't know where they are in Washington yet. Could be 15 minutes or 4 hours, but there's no reason to assume yet that they're not close to family,
  18. Who says there's no extended family around? They live close to the Washington border and could have only moved 15-20 minutes away and be in Washington. Plus, Torie's family lives in Washington.
  19. Agreed. If Olivia was truly trying to "tear apart the family," she'd try to isolate Ethan from his entire family. She's fine with the people who don't tell her she's the devil incarnate and don't try to manipulate her. Kim and Barry are such hypocrites because they suddenly accept Micha and Moriah, along with semi-nude modeling and a barely-there wardrobe (neither of which I have an issue with), but Olivia was somehow a tyrant because Ethan drank a Coke and some wine? Something doesn't add up about that. I saw a repeat yesterday (season 1, episode 2) where Olivia tells a little about how her family evolved to be less controlling and that she now has a great relationship with them.
  20. That "promise" ring actually looked like an anniversary band!
  21. I've wondered if they really wouldn't do an egg retrieval or any other elective procedure for her under general anesthesia because of her weight. Is it just me, or does the Frenchman sound like Buddy doing a really, really bad fake Frenchish accent?
  22. Because they either don’t really know and/or care about what’s truly involved with taking care of them.
  23. As is his option, but nobody’s forcing him to choose that, so he owns his part of the blame.
  24. If anyone earned a piece of Roloff Farms, it’s Jacob and in the worst possible way; with his innocence.
