  1. Not to mention her use of "like" after every other freaking word! Dear Lord, I never knew I'd wish for the return of "um" or "uh" as filler words, LOL!
  2. Got it. Thanks. I had that episode on in the background recently, but wasn't really paying attention.
  3. Did they name themselves on that trip?
  4. Someone remind me: where did the Fox Force Five nickname come from? I know who was in it, but what does the name mean?
  5. Oh Shamea, please don’t disappoint me. I liked you as a “ friend of”; now, not so much. And please don’t be living in a house of cards like so many other “rich” housewives. Because I like your house and your husband seems nice - so far!
  6. Hooray for that judge. She needed a real sentence and to be taken straight into custody! That's what happens when you spin the trial wheel and lose (unless you're politically connected and get to remain free pending appeal). RME.
  7. I’m so pissed I have to miss her sentencing!! President Musk is making me go back into the office every day 🤬🤬🤬
  8. My big gripe is with the time cards they show regarding the trials. It would be so easy to change them to be more realistic, yet they consistently have their trials starting within a month of the crime, give or take, and that NEVER HAPPENS! In this case they were trying the husband on the 7th and then the wife’s trial was on the 11th. Of the same month! Would it be SO hard to just change the damn dates???
  9. Really? I've never heard of that and I was a prosecutor for 12 years (in DC). And there's a courtroom listed when you look her name up in Maryland case search (Courtroom 3G South Tower).
  10. I'm completely down with going to her sentencing. @Baltimore Betty, are you still planning to go now that it's been postponed? I was going to reschedule my mammogram if it was tomorrow, but I have the February date on my calendar!😁
  11. Exactly! Why wasn't that picture introduced by the defense attorney? That could have gone a long way into giving his self-defense claim some credence. And while the episode indicated that he didn't have the bottle in hand when he was shot, we (the audience) don't know if he did or not. I am no bleeding heart (former federal prosecutor) but that could have given the jury some basis for reasonable doubt. Going with just the lying UC made the defense seem inadequate, esp. since Michael Beach is a seasoned defense attorney in the L&O universe. The verdict didn't bother me but this misstep really did!
  12. Did no one notice that Karen had orange juice (and probably champagne) in her “coffee mug”? The camera got a shot from above and you could clearly see the color of the liquid. Plus, she was holding the mug on the side and not by the handle, a dead giveaway 😂😂😂
  13. And that book should have been in a police evidence locker, not in Gabby’s grubby little hands. They even showed her cutting open the plastic evidence bag! So tired of these TV tropes where people get away with illegalities just by saying “pleeeease“. Which is how she got into the interview room with the dog walker and wasn’t arrested for kidnapping. Give me a fucking break 🙄 I know, it’s teevee, lol.
  14. Okay episode. But where can I find a man of Voight’s age, with Voight’s abs, in my real life???
  15. Ugh. I know I "should" like him because I agree with most of his views, but Michael Eric Dyson gets on my nerves!!! He sounds too rehearsed/practiced. And regardless of what he says, I don't know why he was texting Nancy Mace. I'm not saying he was hitting on her, but I found his texts problematic . . .
  16. I’m just tired of watching labor scenes in movies and on television. They may be accurate but, to me, it’s just a bunch of screaming and grunting with some dialogue in between. 🤷🏽‍♀️
  17. If I never have to see a “woman going through childbirth” scene again, it will be too soon. Enough already!
  18. And this is why I FF’d the entire segment. 🥱
  19. So true! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
  20. Definitely would have preferred two segments from Jasmine Crockett, instead of Brittney Griner. And Sunny, please stop acting like making a $250K salary is living in poverty. 🙄. Yes, the men make more, but the NBA brings in exponentially more money than the WNBA. Facts. She chose to play in Russia, she wasn’t exiled there. And I’m shocked that they didn’t walk out to “Celebration” by Kool and the Gang today 😂😂😂
  21. The law side of this case was a mess. You can’t impeach a witnes with prior arrests, only convictions - and only some convictions in certaIn jurisdictions - and the ex-girlfriend’s testimony would never have been allowed. And don’t even get me started on the warrantless search in the suspect’s room and seizure of the necklace. I 🙄 as it was happening and waited patiently for the successful suppression motion. The judge was right, politics or not.
  22. OK, I'll be the curmudgeon. I didn't like it that much. I'm all for happy endings, especially for Bob and Abishola, but everyone had a happy ending? Not realistic, in my view. Especially for Abishola's mother. What did she do to deserve one? I had hoped she'd have moved back to Nigeria! And everyone was happy and healthy? Again, not realistic to me, given some of the characters' ages. But I've enjoyed the show over the years. Sorry to see it go but the writing had really gone downhill so I guess it was time. I did love the flashbacks at the end of the episode 😁
  23. I am way behind in watching this (obviously, lol) but I have to disagree with the comment that Beth would be going through menopause and look differently if she had a hysterectomy. That’s only if you have a complete hysterectomy, which is rarely done unless you have problems with your ovaries. If they leave the ovaries in, you go through menopause at the same time you would have naturally, it’s just harder to know when it’s happening bc you don’t have the lack of a menstrual cycle to give you a clue. But a blood test will tell you. Ask me how I know . . .
  24. Ha! This discussion reminds me of driving around with my godson when he was about 4 and singing Nelly's "Hot in Here" at the top of my lungs, unconcerned about him being in the back seat. And then I heard a little voice pipe up "really jalady, you want to take off all your clothes???" OMG, I was mortified about him telling that to his parents, LOL. For those who don't know, one of the lyrics is "It's getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes; I am getting so hot, I want to take my clothes off".
  25. On Monday's show I loved what Sunny said: When you've been used to privilege, equality feels like oppression. I've never thought about it that way before but she's right on point!
