I’m still pissed they got rid of my beef meximelt. Luckily a wonderful shift manager told me to order a cheesy roll up with bees and pico de gallo.

My lunch was a meatball and extra cheese sub with light mayo (reminds me of miracle whip) from subway. Dinner is risotto with roasted shallots and zucchini.

As a white person I have a really hard time believing all of these white filmmakers/actors/artists/etc didn’t know this wasn’t cool. I’m in my mid40’s & my family is from Deep South Mississippi and I have always been taught this was wrong. How did I somehow get the memo and none of them didn’t????

Corn chowder is on deck. I've been sick since Thursday (sinus infection) and I completely lose my appetite. I also start coughing really bad when I eat so while the chowder is good, it's going to take awhile to finish up.

I'm going to have to watch this when I get home. I don't think this little phone screen will do it the justice it deserves.

I figure since it’s been a month since the last post (mine) it’s okay to write a new one. I finally got to Fresh Market (it’s a few Towns over) and for my almond pillow cookies, which are my absolute favorite!! I bought all three boxes they had.

After 3nights of leftovers I’m making meatballs and mashed potatoes with green beans. Simple and yummy. However it’s also just after 8pm and the current “feels like temp” is 95. The oven is not a great idea.

I know. I didn't see the documentary but I want to find out who the guy is and see if there's a follow up.

Sleepy Hollow show runners can go fuck themselves sideways to Sunday for screwing over Orlando Jones. He may have been my favorite thing on that show. Between him and John Cho leaving i was done. And they really missed the boat with Nichole and Tom. Those two had amazing chemistry. I'd still be watching them today fighting headless creepies if I could. Instead we got Katrina. We did not deserve that.

Every Plate Shepard's pie, or at least it will be in a little bit. Cooking the onion and carrots now.

Oh man Sleepy Hollow really messed up when they didn't explore Abbie and Ichabod more. Of course they would have had to keep Abbie around and not totally fuck over the show first..

Every Plate again (it's just me and I don't grocery shop a lot. It's mostly going to be Every Plate): beef pitas with tzatziki sauce and potato wedges.

Ordered out from a local French place: salmon with leek fondue. The salmon was perfect!

I hope I categorized this right. I am thoroughly entertained by this show. It sounds ridiculous, it is ridiculous, it's also hysterical watching Ozzy Osbourne watch the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

So jealous. Ethiopian is one of my favorite cuisines and I don’t get it much! Closest restaurant is about 2 hours away.

I like EveryPlate. They have different meals you can choose each week (there are the ones that are pre-selected, but you can change them by a certain date). There are also some of the meals you can change the protein on, chicken to beef, pork to chicken, etc, which I appreciate as I’m not a big chicken fan. Their app is very user friendly as well.

Lunch was fresh corn on the cob. Dinner was loaded baked potato soup. Who says you can't have soup in 90° weather?!?!

Pork and pineapple tacos for lunch. Dinner will be leftover bolognese .

Hmm, I don't really like things in things so the texture of most chocolate chip cookies I am not a fan of. I do like almond cookies. And oatmeal (no raisin) a lot!

Lol, I just discovered that Pluto TV has married with children. I'm ecstatic! ( I also prefer Jefferson over Steve and the latter years with NO MA'AM over the earlier ones, so my taste may be suspect).

I think the older I get , the less tolerance I have towards bratty/bitchy characters, the Belcher children from Bobs Burgers being high on the list and a perfect example. Honest to god the fact that Bob hasn’t gone off and kicked all of them out or ran off with Marshmallow is a constant surprise! •Wierdly, I still love It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.•

Ehh, I don’t know. I don’t think we were really supposed to like the Bundys that much (Married with Children). Though there’s not many on that show we were supposed to like.
