It's very possible that they didn't decide Blaine was faking until this season. They probably saw it as an option, but didn't write last season under the certainty that he was. Maybe they had one direction for the show and changed it when they decided to go with the Fillmore Graves storyline, which I think is too big for one season, so I expect us to end on a cliffhanger. I think there is some chance that Peyton ends up back together with Blaine. Maybe they will go with the swerve that Natalie took the cure, found out that it works without costing you your memory, and stole it for some reason or revealed its existence to the person who stole it. If Major being a Fillmore Graves mercenary was the only job that he could get due to his notoriety from being linked to the Chaos Killer cases, what can he do now that he is human?

When they were trying on outfits at the beginning, did anyone else interpret the expression on McGee's face upon seeing Abby as ruefully thinking, "I used to hit that"? I figured Delilah was going to be pregnant when they had Tim be so worried. If he was being calm and optimistic, I would have thought she was going to die. So, when Delilah gives birth, I hope that he is a nervous daddy-to-be because that means everything is probably going to be okay.

Changes can be made, but if Wally doesn't have speed, then he never frees Savitar from the Speed Force, so Savitar becomes a time remnant from a timeline where he was freed from the Speed Force. Even if Barry killing himself would erase Savitar from the timeline like Eddie did with Eobard, I hypothesize that it might create an even bigger singularity than the one caused by Eddie's heroic suicide because it would be a speedster killing himself. Maybe Barry creates time remnants to stop Savitar, then he kills his time remnants. Or Savitar kills all but one time remnant, the last one has a scarred face, and Joe shoots him. Anyways, here's one theory of how time travel might work. So, a speedster travels in time. His presence in the past or future changes events. This creates two parallel timelines, but eventually, they collapse into each other. The new timeline overwrites the old timeline. The speedster, protected by the Speed Force, remembers the old timeline, but exists in the new single timeline. He is a remnant of the old timeline, a time remnant. However, if the change is too crazy, the new timeline causes a singularity as it overwrites the old one, threatening to destroy everything.

This show must take place in an alternate universe because LOL at the idea that a black woman would be the head of the House Armed Services Committee in a Republican Congress. What are the chances that Sanchez is part of the conspiracy with Hamilton?
-
That might not erase Savitar. If Barry changes the timeline by not creating time remnants, then Savitar will be a remnant of the timeline that included time remnants, who would still have to exist to make sure that certain things happen in this timeline. I've thought about the idea of Barry creating a time remnant of Iris who would willingly die in the place of the real Iris, but I think that might not be possible. It might be that only a speedster with a connection to the Speed Force can be a time remnant. The speed force bazooka looks nothing like the weapon that HR had on the rooftop in the future. Flash and the burning building occurs at night. We see daylight after that, so there is time for Team Flash to come up with a plan without Barry's knowledge that involves showing him the bazooka.

I suspect that the Speed Force plays a role in the existence of time remnants. They function as patches that a sentient Speed Force uses to hold the timeline together, the glue that binds the pieces of the cracked teacup. I'm guessing that the other thing that Savitar besides killing Iris is for the Speed Force trap to be built. Why else would Future Barry tell Current Barry about Tracy? It would be interesting if Caitlyn was able to resist the Killer Frost persona long enough to leave Team Flash with info that could be used to perfect the memory shield.

I'm fine with Gregorio and Percy. I just don't find LaSalle interesting as a character. He's mostly a generic good-looking Southern boy whose name I keep forgetting. Hamilton has been going after Pride's team, but I feel like LaSalle being neutralized would harm Pride the least in terms of his ability to take down the mayor.

Savitar said he was wondering when Barry would figure it out. Since Savitar is one step ahead because he remembers the past, it seems like he figured it out, too, so he is just helping Barry along in a way that brings the future about. I am willing to go with the possibility that Savitar is a time remnant from the pre-Flashpoint universe and is trying to make sure that the events that lead to his existence still happen, since Flashpoint changed enough to make that uncertain. Changes in the timeline aren't always instantaneous. Iris was going to die, but Flashpoint created instability in the timeline that made changing the future more possible. Flashpoint means Iris doesn't have to die, but she still might.

I just want to point out that Mon-El exited Alex's apartment while carrying two pieces of pizza, which I found hilarious. He should be comic relief who occasionally gets beat up to show that the villain is a legitimate threat to Supergirl.

1) He feels a moral responsibility to do so, even if it may not matter. 2) If he doesn't succeed in defeating Savitar changing the timeline, then it fixes something caused by his future mistake. He shouldn't act under the assumption that he will win. Of course, now that we know Savitar is future Barry, it makes anything that future Barry said suspect because he may just be trying to manipulate current Barry. Perhaps what we will find out is that Flashpoint is the only thing that made it possible to save Iris by shaking up the timeline and allowing for changes to be made.
-
If Savitar is future Barry and knows what current Barry knows because he lived it, then it would make sense that the solution is to have Team Flash make a plan that keeps Barry out of the loop. That's possibly why we had HR on the roof in the future scene, doing something that Barry might not know about. Does Barry talk about this to the team or do they figure it out on their own and make a plan? Either Barry's trip to the future affected Savitar and led him to go after Brand when he didn't before, meaning the future can be changed and Iris' death is not set in stone, or this is what always happened and future Barry lied to current Barry about Brand developing the technology four years later because he needs the tech now for some reason.

Hetty's actions make sense to me in this episode. She is someone who practices compartmentalization in her operations, giving her operatives information on a need-to-know basis. In this case, she delegated a matter outside of NCIS jurisdiction to two retired admirals, checking up on a colleague who had been acting strangely. It coincidentally intersected with an NCIS investigation of the kidnapping of a VA administrator. If anything, Hetty should be commended for not abusing her position and using NCIS resources to deal with a personal matter.

I like master manipulator characters. I want to be like Hetty.

This is why companions tend to be modern-era young people. Tropes exist for a reason. Keep that in mind the next time people clamor for something different. (Which isn't to say that a different style of companion can't or hasn't been done.) The reaction to Clara makes me think that the fanbase will be horribly divided by a female Doctor. Clara was an action junkie who was addicted to traveling with the Doctor and thought she should be treated as an equal and get a turn to drive. It was a natural conclusion to her story that she gets her own TARDIS to gallivant around in. Bill is just happy to be along for the ride. Will she become more than just an audience for the Doctor?

He was popular last year because he was a black gay dude in a happy relationship, something that appeals to a portion of the fanbasr. Well, they took the husband away. Maybe they will take more time away from OTA to give a Curtis a storyline next season where he moves on and starts dating again as a contrast with grim main storylines. He works better as comic relief, but to be comic relief on a team of vigilantes, he has to be portrayed as incompetent. If he works best as tech support, but is redundant with Felicity on the team, then the best use of the character may be to build him up before killing him off in a self-sacrificing moment to create team angst over his death.
-
So she can be killed off just when it hurts the most.

We are probably supposed to think this particular VA administrator is a bad apple whose corruption does not spread to those under his supervision and that the scene in the hospital was due to the poor job he was doing. This feels like a episode which might have originally been written with Granger in mind, but they had to substitute the black guy because of real-world reasons.

Between this and "that cake's not going to bake itself", Che seems to be the best at cake-based humor. -
Yeah, it's not as if he went to places like Hong Kong while he was missing for five years.

Saying that killing is ok because they weren't innocent is like saying that torture is ok if it's done on terrorists. I don't think it matters how bad his victims were. The question is if he had options other than killing and how hard he looked for those options. Did he default to killing as his Plan B too easily because he didn't want to find another way? Did he push the desire to kill downward to honor those he has lost and those that he loves, but never really get rid of it? In support of the thesis that he can be a good man, has Oliver Queen denied the antithesis that he has wanted to kill for non-killing reasons? Is it possible to synthesize these into the idea of a good man who sometimes takes pleasure in unnecessary killing?

Bat-Mite wouldn't be interested in the Flash. He'd use Ollie as his Batman surrogate, just like every other Batman-related character who pops up on Arrow.
-
Until proven otherwise, just imagine him as a benevolent version of Mxyzptlk, related perhaps. Then imagine his next stop is some other show you watch where he puts two characters of intense interest to shippers together in a musical world where they discover their true love for each.
-
I might have more to say later, but for now, I will note what I said a few episodes ago.

Did you even watch the last few minutes? She thought that he was being negatively affected by what happened and that he needed to see her to get over it. He even mentioned what was running through my mind, that it was possible that Hetty manufactured the whole scenario to manipulate Callen. We'll probably see her again when they find Sabatini. One might even wonder if she put Eric and Nell in the field together undercover in order to move them along in their relationship. I'm happy to see my two favorite characters on the show hooking up and I like the idea of Hetty playing God over the lives of her surrogate children. Maybe she is grooming Anna to be the woman that Callen needs in his life.

Rip is promoted to admiral. He picks the missions and is in charge of making the timeline great again. Sarah is captain, in charge of implementing the missions.
