  1. Rooting for Nurys, but I can't see her lasting long, realistically. The rest of the house can fuck off. I have zero interest in any of them, even as villains. I'd rather watch 60 minutes of Bananas noodling on his guitar while telling fart jokes than watch the remaining cast (other than Nurys) in future seasons. Bunch of fucking zeros afaic.
  2. If I never see Asaf and Jay on The Challenge again, it'll be too soon. There are others this season for whom I have zero interest, but these two guys, for me, are the worst of the lot.
  3. I say this as someone who has only really ever watched The Challenge (mostly because of the athletic competition aspect, to be clear) out of the reality tv realm; who has never watched an episode of Big Brother; watched the most recent season of Survivor (literally the first time I've ever watched even a single ep. of that franchise, etc. : Dan's game on this show is utterly unimpressive in relation to the hype I've heard/seen about him on social media and among acquaintances who are familiar with him. It seems to me he's done the bare minimum with the awesome amount of power traitors have in this game. He's done nothing that anyone off the street couldn't have done, IMO. I blame my gf's mom for insisting I watch this show. I'm kinda hooked, in a weird way, but at the same time, not at all impressed? How the hell does that work? LOL
  4. Part of me wants to think that Jay is hamming it up for the cameras, but I just can't get myself to believe he's that good of an actor. He really is just this much of a narcissistic asshole, isn't he? Michelle continues to get my dislike largely a/c guilt by association, but let's be real, it's also largely earned by her own merit. Moriah/James might be the most boring Challenge hook-up ever, in terms of both parties being complete zeros *to me*. I really came to like Zara, and I actually liked her plenty coming off that Challenge-Lite world thingy she was in (partnered with Wes, right?). Great attitude; great athlete, and she's only lacking in mental acuity skills that she can actually work on, even given her dyslexia, if she truly wants to. I hope she does. Also doesn't hurt that, for my tastes, she is a fine-looking human being.
  5. My man Witt brought a gun loaded with blanks to a knife fight. RIP in peace
  6. Yeah, Ed is one of the few cast members who is capable AND doesn't actively annoy me. I think I'd like Horacio as a person; I know I like him as a competitor, but I don't think he has it in him to actually play the game to win it. His stubbornness helps him as a competitor, but it isn't very game savvy. Plus he doesn't have the logic/analytical skills of Ed/Kyland types. Michelle really annoys me, but I agree, she's the most likely female winner, IMO. Zara can run forever, and though slight of build, sure seems very physically strong. Not sure she has the brain power though.
  7. Jay comes across as, I dunno, manic maybe? especially during this last episode. Like, used car salesman on steroids, with the overly toothy, effusive smile....almost like a revivalist after a hit of...something. Never actually "liked" the guy, but now I dislike and would rather avoid watching him on my screen. Michelle I actually used to be o.k. with....but more exposure has me not vibing with her at all. This couple just shouldn't be allowed to front this franchise in any way shape or form. IMO, production made a miscalculation presenting them as the king and queen bees. I hope they course correct after this season.
  8. I have zero fucks to give about who wins this crappy season...well, except that as long as it's *not* Jay or Michelle, I'm cool with it. They used to be non-entities to me, which is what I prefer to actually disliking them now after more exposure to them. I preferred when I didn't think about them at all.
  9. I'm new to Survivor, so there's currently zero depth to my thinking of how this game works. With that said, IMO, while I don't like/vibe with Dee, she deserved the win because she played the damn game. She won challenges; she manipulated; she lied; she was cold-hearted when it mattered. Austin lacked the sack to do what it takes, so he most definitely did not deserve it, IMO. What exactly did he gain with all those immunity idols (again, I am a Survivor novice, so my game understanding is lacking)? Jake and Katurah were not contenders as far as I was concerned. Trying is important, but ultimately, neither could move the needle, beyond Katurah's inexplicable (to me) decision to not oust Dee when she had the chance. I was glad to see that players actually wanted to, you know, stick around and play after the first several episodes of people not being able to withstand, what?, 5 whole days away from their families/couches/etc. I'm intrigued enough to give S46 a chance especially since it debuts in February, a month that is typically a social & entertainment desert for me.
  10. Watching this cluster fuck really slams home why none of these people have won before. Honestly, I was really open to the idea of this season at the beginning, but at this point, I wouldn't be mad if TJ announces soon that all the vets who win elimination during Chaos get to join the game and go for the win. Seriously, fuck all these lame asses.
  11. Austin being game-submissive because twu wuv....lame. Julie not taking a shot when she had really good reason to know she had the power....lame. Jake and Katurah still hanging around, floating along....amazing. This is my first time ever watching this show; I give zero fucks who wins. If I watch in the future, hopefully there'll be someone I find both appealing and worthy this late in the game.
  12. Didn't he hook-up w/ Tori a couple seasons ago? Wonder if he feels a certain way about Jordan based on that...not sure if Jordan ever put anything out on social media about that hook-up.
  13. As a new viewer of Survivor (seriously, I have never watched a single episode until the current season), I kinda feel like I am watching Tom Brady play in his final season, after never having seen him in his prime. Am I waaaay off base here? FWIW, I decided to finally watch some Survivor because I am a regular viewer of The Challenge, and with it looking like the Survivor alums will be taking over that game going forward, I figure I need to see what's what. Are there typically quitters such as I've witnessed this season? I mean...sorry, I find it fucking lame.
  14. Berna...wtf are you doing? If you're seriously dealing with issues, The Challenge is not the place for you to be. I was uncomfortable watching her; seems like she's in distress. If you're not dealing with issues, and this is just your approach to the game, well, goodbye. ---- I'm cool with the idea of finding a new champion, but sure seems it's gonna be messy getting there. Hopefully "messy" in an entertaining way. Seems there are more than a couple wannbe killers there. Interested in seeing who can back it up, because it sure as hell isn't all of them, or even most of them, capable of it.
  15. I haven't warmed to any of the first time Challengers, so I come from a relatively unbiased POV here, I think... Cassidy is whatever, but why is Chenelle talking so much shit what has *she* done in this game? I don't recall seeing her distinguish herself in any way, so...whateves. Don't really care, between those two, I just am unimpressed by chest-pounding from someone who hasn't proven a damn thing. Cassidy has at least come back from the sand a couple times. That's more than Chenelle has done. I find Chris boring, but dude has got physical skill, so is a threat if he can hang on. His social game sucks ass, at least the edit he gets makes it seem so to me. Are they holding Hall Brawl for the opportune time to have a smaller person vs. a giant (e.g. Fessy vs. Tyler)? I assume as much. Weaksauce.
  16. Man I am surprised by my equivocation about this game. On one hand, I kinda sorta agree with the general sentiment 'round these parts that vets being all entitled is a turn-off. As someone else said, quit bitching about being out-numbered (which is what y'all have done to rookies on the flagship show every damn season) and prove why you deserve to keep winning. OTOH, as someone who doesn't watch much reality tv, these CBS people (other than those who are past Challengers) are total non-entities to me. I have zero investment in them. They don't "deserve" fuck-all in this game. What have they done to be so smug (sometimes) about the Challenge? They have their own entitlement issues afaic. The finger-wagging and tough talking during their talking heads show why I don't care for the sneaky b.s. underlying the game play of BB & Survivor. I prefer the confrontation. If I'm gonna spend my time watching "reality" tv, I want action. Tough talk behind others backs is yawn-inducing for me. All that said, I am enjoying this season. Curious to see how the vets try to dig-in.
  17. There's no one I'm rooting for. I'm not a Survivor watcher, so don't grasp the appeal of Danny, or especially Sarah. YMMV, obviously. I'm normally mehhh at best WRT to Kasey, but I don't dislike Troy, so wouldn't hate if they won. Not sure what it is about Emily, but just not vibing with her, and Yes I tend to find a bit sanctimonious for reality tv, so hard for me to back that pairing.
  18. I wasted time watching TC USA, and from jump found Sara....I dunno, disconcerting? Hard to articulate. I don't know what it is about her, but I have zero desire to roll with her or even have her on my screen. Nelson not being able to figure out how momentum works is so him.
  19. Tommy saying (about he and his partner lying to Horacio & Olivia prev episode) "the truth is somewhere in the middle"..?? Wut? No man, no. You lied. You got called out for it. Own it. And him insisting throughout the show that he and Analise are "honest people"? Again, wut? Gotta show your work here bro'. I mean, they at least made an impression, I guess. Good for him for not quitting during the elimination, but quit saying you're honest when we've got tape showing you're not.
  20. I know he hasn't had much screen time, mercifully, but I'll never find Fessy interesting. It's not even a dislike; that'd at least be **something**...I just don't care.
  21. It'd be weird if you weren't, IMHO. Given that, always remember: things will always get worse. 😬
  22. Didn't realize I was signing up for Wonder Woman on the Prairie when I started watching this. I'll watch the finale at some point in all likelihood, but this show is simply not meant for me.
  23. Yeah, I was stunned when I heard her say she was 33 on Johnny Bananas' podcast this week. She has the emotional maturity of someone much younger, IMO. That she kept saying during the podcast that she is admittedly naive and "still learning" about manipulation (after having been on BB???? FFS...) made me think she's either been extremely sheltered or is living the unknowing ingenue con to the fullest.
  24. Irrelevant given the locale, but throwing a drink in someone's face can get you charged with assault in some places. Just sayin'. Fessy needed to go, but Esther skating was all kinds of bullshit to me. YMMV.
  25. Way late to the game in asking this, I presume, but what in the fuck has Jisela ever done in The Challenge to warrant her having so much sway and arrogance about same? I clearly am missing something, because it seems the cast seems resigned to her having some level of power that I just can't understand. Also, agree with Yes: Nehemiah saying "I've been in the pit and everyone needs to earn their way to the final!" Then picking Kendal who's been in elimination multiple times...super hypocritical.
