I was trying to picture Martha Stewart in that sort of world. I think she would do pretty well, at least for a while.

I'm going to have to agree to disagree, too. :) It's fictional, but it still bugs me, and I blame the writers.

Small Talk: Ughngnggh! Ugghhnnn!
Anela replied to radishcake's topic in The Walking Dead Franchise Shows
I can't wait until I get to complain about the heat, instead of this "Frozen" crap. The board keeps messing up on me. -
Beth was stronger than Glenn, at that point, and had a weapon. It still bugs me, but I don't hate Maggie.
-
Her obsessive hunt for Glenn, and writing messages to him with walker blood, was melodramatic. kj4ever: yep. Daryl told her that Beth was alive. Walkers don't drive cars, so I don't understand why she would continue to think she was dead, unless she thought the termites had picked her up. That, I would understand. I had Lost vibes when they started off the episode, zoomed in on Maggie's eyes. All they needed after Aaron's appearance, was this, only with The Walking Dead written there instead:
-
She just assumed she was dead, but Glenn, who was extremely ill the last time she saw him, must have been alive? I would have been thinking differently, no matter how much of a fighter Glenn had been in the past. I LIKED this episode. I felt bad for Maggie, but she didn't have to add to what the priest is carrying.
-
I liked it. I wasn't bothered by Maggie's being so upset, until she was rude to the priest. I thought that was uncalled for. I noticed Sasha cut Abraham's arm, accidentally. She was out of control there - she almost stabbed another one of them. I liked the scene in the barn, but hated the bit with the dogs. I know they weren't their pets, but I wouldn't let anyone eat my pets. I wish they hadn't gone there. I thought of Jehovah's Witnesses, when Aaron showed up. I hope that he is a good guy - as long as it doesn't mean us losing another regular. They can't all be psychos out there.
-
A person on another board, suggested that it might be the woman that was involved with Harrison - the one that he wasn't happy to see - that bought Olivia. Since she was involved with her mother.
-
I don't hate Rick, but I do hate the beard, and I make no apologies for that. I just don't like beards. The small one wasn't so bad, but the others are clean-shaven. Women would be also be covered in hair, to a certain extent - you don't see them that way on the show.
-
I figured that Alexandra Breckenridge would be a playing a love interest for Rick. I remember her being cast last year, and there were rumours about him meeting someone. She posted the other day on twitter, that she wouldn't be on TWD yet, but soon, and she couldn't say who she would be.
-
I laughed when the safecracker blew up, too, but I was expecting something, because he was showing off. I loved the whole episode.
-
The title of this thread just made me choke on my food. It would be nice to see him cleaned up again.
-
I had a bit of a problem with most of them looking like they're at the gym every day, but stabbing zombies in the head would make for a good upper body workout. I suppose the ladies have picked up razors on the occasional run, but you'd think Rick would have used one. The beard is getting a bit much.
-
I thought the same thing when people kept talking about how there would be a lot more hooking up in that sort of environment. So why sex, but no relationships? I'm not asking you directly. I don't recall who was talking about how much nooky the characters should be having. I've always thought about the showers - I do notice how grubby they are. ;)

I swish or brush with coconut oil. I rub it into my gums, when I have a fever, and my face as well, if I have sinus pain. It calms swollen gums, and has broken fevers for me, and when I took it every day, it stopped me from getting colds or the flu that everyone else had. My aunt has been oil-pulling with it, and is sure that it kept her from getting sick, too.

Yes, this!

I'm rarely a shipper, LOL. I only said that I see chemistry there. I think they would make a good couple, but it isn't a demand.
-
I thought the same thing, when I watched "A"again on Sunday, and noticed that he was still wearing his ring, as he buried the bag of weapons. I do like the idea of Rick and Michonne, though - I see the chemistry that others do.
-
I laughed when they showed Judith crying with the music, too. I expected to see more about it here, because of all of the complaints about her singing. Poor Tyreese - I liked him a lot. I watched this at 1am, and saw his name trending on twitter, but was still surprised that they killed someone off so soon. And poor Sasha.
-
I actually felt glad that this show is still on. It had been bugging me. I felt bad for April, and hated that they ended the show that way - what I thought would happen at the beginning of the episode. I also didn't mind the call at the end, between Meredith and Maggie. I liked their excitement over the 3D printing, rushing to see it start, and then realizing that it would be another ten hours. :)
-
I agree with those who are appalled by her being auctioned off. I don't care if she knew that Huck would find a way to track her, it's disgusting. I can't believe that I tuned in again. And what was that about Cyrus being conned into marrying a sex-worker? I felt like I was watching a daytime soap, in which you hear about five ludicrous things in the first few minutes.

I'd forgotten all about her. I immediately thought of Return of the Living Dead Part 2, with the talking zombie head, that they stick a screwdriver into. "Well, get the danged screwdriver *out* of my *head*!" ha! -

I ugly cried, too. It doesn't help that my parents are close to that age, and I worry about them. I loved it, but I am a sap.
