My guess is after the episode once Tinah is officially BC so the article can be written around, "Will we get the GA/BC romance from the comics" or something like that. Yeah, I cringed when I heard that. I hope Oliver asks for a picture too because people can change their names very, very easily. Please let him think about that.

They're going to have to explain her absence in some way and I really don't want more of the conference/just offscreen excuses. Maybe she makes a choice similar to the one Moira did? I'm not saying she sacrifices herself, but maybe there is some sort of choice for her to make involving someone else that results in her absence for several episodes? It really is hard to be invested in most of these characters in season 5.

True. And then there's 4x08 where she told him that they were a team and she wanted to be a good teammate.

Can't agree with this because there was no reason he couldn't tell Felicity about William. None whatsoever. Unless Samantha had him bugged or had the loft bugged or something, there was no way she'd ever find out. Instead, Oliver chose not to tell Felicity, chose to, I assume, make up lies about why he was going to CC when he went to see his son, and chose to not talk to her in 415 but spoke to Diggle and Vixen. Yep. And that's why I'm worried about what we're going to get between Oliver and Felicity when it comes to this secret. Will it be OOC again? I wouldn't be surprised if it is. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Oliver gets mad at Felicity for keeping something from him but instantly forgives and continues to date Susan after finding out she's investigating him. Because if that's what the writers want for plot, it's what will happen.

I was before I saw where they were in S5. But now? I just don't think anything they could say about it would be all that satisfying. I'd rather see the summers between S2 and S3 and S3 and S4 (and not just with Olicity) than the summer between S4 and S5.

I still want to know where that second check went. Didn't Moira offer Samantha two checks? Sadly, I doubt the fact that Moira paid her off will ever be brought up again.

Even after reading that entire interview, I still can't bring myself to care about Oliver right now. I don't care what's going to happen to him as GA or mayor. I did like that SA brought up the Russia episode - he was there to see her just ask if Diggle got any information - but it also just reminds me that there's so much about Russia that no one else knows now that Rory's gone: the blackmailing (Curtis was apparently just ... there ... for that and he zoned out I guess?), her wanting to fly the nuke out of there, wear the rags, etc. I doubt those things will be brought up in a future episode, unless Felicity says something.

Beth Schwartz tweeted out a link to the poll and the writers room Twitter RTed that. Is that the first time they've acknowledged Olicity is in this poll or did anyone mention it the previous rounds?

If they want it to happen, they'll come up with a reason that may or may not make sense. Prometheus is going to end up having a wife who decides to run for mayor.

Maybe the episode ends with Susan doing a news report with the whole "Impeach Mayor Queen" thing, and that is the challenge Oliver has to face as mayor in 5x15 - how to handle it? But the others find out that she might be digging into him earlier in 5x14 (maybe Felicity finds something using Pandora) and don't think she's going to use it as quickly as she does? And then the whole secret thing in 5x15 is the Pandora reveal because Oliver won't let Felicity just brush aside questions as to how she's getting her information anymore because it directly involves him?

Yeah, this entire storyline is awful. Are they going to end up making every single character wrong just so that Oliver isn't in this case because of some reporter who is obviously not going to be sticking around? For a temporary LI? I highly doubt it. What would be the point of that? We've already seen him insist that Susan is a "good person" and "good reporter" to Thea. Are we going to see him defending Susan to everyone else next? Will he say, "Well, I would've told her this stuff anyway"? "She's not going to expose me because we're getting serious"? "She's just doing her job"? At this point, nothing will surprise me. I would still love it if they all kick him off Team Arrow if his stupidity continues. "Sorry, Oliver. We don't need you." "But I'm the Green Arrow. It's Team Arrow." "We got a new Black Canary. We'll find a new Green Arrow."

That preview doesn't tell us anything we didn't already know from the episode description, right?
