  1. If it doesn't fit the story they want to tell/see at any given moment in S5, it didn't happen.
  2. Did he specifically say that that happened in 5x12? Or could he have meant a future episode? Because if he meant 5x12, when exactly would that have happened? When he asked her what she did? That was pretty much their only interaction beyond the initial "welcome back" without a "thank you for getting me out of prison." If it got cut, I hope it's on the DVD set and not just gone completely like that Felicity/Curtis conversation last year. Was it ever revealed what that conversation was about? I think the problem with Tinah right now is that they want her to be part of the team immediately (look, she goes to Russia with them even though she just met them!), but they also want her to be new so she needs a welcoming committee (Diggle) and whatever bonding we'll see from those two, I guess starting with 5x13 going off the photos.
  3. I really don't want this to happen. But it very well could. It's not just that Oliver's stupid to trust her. It doesn't look good that he's dating someone who screwed over his sister and now only went easy on Lance because of Rene, not proper research like a good reporter. And she got more information on Oliver after sleeping with him and thought that asking him about his past after the first time they slept together was okay? Even if this turns out "fine," how is it going to end? Is he going to keep dating her? Is she going to leave Star City? But what happened to how much she proclaimed to care about the city in, what, 505? Is he going to be "heartbroken" because they're trying to make these temp LIs seem like more than they are? There could have been so much potential in not making her a LI and instead a reporter looking for a story that perhaps Oliver and Thea took down together separate from GA business. Oliver wouldn't have looked like an idiot then.
  4. I just want Evelyn's story wrapped up in 2 scenes at the most. I don't want that much screen time taken up for it since we're going to be at 5x18. Focus on what's more important at that point in the season.
  5. Honestly? I think I might just be grateful they didn't decide to use Flashpoint to erase Olicity's relationship. They easily could have. And I'm going to take it as a positive sign that they didn't.
  6. I think the show's future rests on remembering the relationships they spent 4 years developing and Olicity is a big part of that.
  7. You know what would bother me about Oliver/Tinah in front of Felicity? The fact that Felicity's relationships have never been on display in front of Oliver (that I can remember - please correct me if I'm wrong). She and Ray were together at PT - where she couldn't have known he'd drop by - and there was nearly enough room for another person between her and Billy during the awkward holiday party scene.
  8. So does anyone think they'll actually address finding a new location for a lair in a future episode? Because no one from the team has suggested that, right? Even though Prometheus obviously knows where it is and the security is clearly a joke. I'm pretty much waiting for them to find him chilling out at the conference table or doing the salmon ladder.
  9. Ugh, that still annoys me considering how angry Diggle was at the beginning of S4 after he had an entire summer to "get over it" and Felicity had just found out the truth and was being forced into a fake wedding with her ex-fiancé.
  10. Even if they are determined to not have Oliver and Felicity talk about this now, they could have had him talk to say, Diggle or Rory, for now. I actually wish we had gotten another conversation between Oliver and Rory before Rory left, especially since Rory told him something was going on and I feel like once Rory was on the team, they decided those two just needed to have the briefest of conversations and that was it. Or Oliver could have said something to Diggle about worrying about what Felicity did at the end of that bar scene. Just... something.
  11. Don't even suggest such a thing. I don't think I'd be able to watch it.
  12. So is Oliver going to get hurt in 515 and 517, as mayor and then GA?
  13. Maybe the biggest challenge Oliver faces is what to say at a press conference about GA being wanted for murdering a cop.
  14. Since I'm expecting that to happen at some point and I don't think that would be much of a cliffhanger ... yep, sounds about right, especially after the 509 "Laurel" cliffhanger.
  15. We should be getting the 515 description soon, right?
  16. Yeah, I have a feeling this is going to end up being at least a bit disappointing whenever it finally happens because they're stretching it out. It'll end up being more "well, finally" than anything else.
  17. https://www.watchtivist.com/all-interviews/arrowdrs5 A couple of things I noticed: Uh, everyone know this. Barry told Diggle John was Sara in front of all three teams and Kara in the crossover. I think the only person who hasn't been told onscreen might be Lyla. Could that mean something or is it just the fact that Slade's still alive and locked up?
  18. I want this too. Just get on with whatever Susan reveal is coming please. Maybe she'll blame her producer again. Didn't she do that in 503 with Thea? I wonder if someone told the director it was just a cover-up. Maybe no one did? Otherwise, why focus on it? That's just stupid.
  19. Yep. They're making it really obvious that they don't want anyone to talk to Felicity about it yet. The only person who knows? Rory, and he's gone. Even Curtis is oblivious - and he was with Felicity and Rory. There was enough in 5x12 that someone other than Rory (Oliver, Diggle, Curtis, even Tinah now knows something's up since Oliver tells her there is, so why don't they have her suggest, "hey, why doesn't one of you talk to her?" since she's too new to do that) should've noticed and talked to Felicity, but no one did. Since Oliver was the one giving the "you're better than me" speech and Rory told him she crossed the line, it would make sense it would be him. But Diggle doesn't get a pass either, though you could argue he was distracted by the general. He was there when Felicity asked if he got anything from the guy he tortured and he was there when Oliver mentioned she crossed a line. Also, has Diggle thanked Felicity for getting him out of prison? Since that OTA scene in the lair was played like it was the first time they saw each other, it doesn't seem like it. They really are just doing the minimal amount of work possible with some of these relationships this season.
  20. I don't think a reveal should come until the series finale, but I think if they do one before that, it'll be in a season finale so they can use the summer time jump to skip over any of the immediate issues that arise from the reveal that they don't want to deal with.
  21. But would they really leave her in prison for the entire summer? Or maybe not do the regular time jump between seasons? Or have her out by the S6 premiere and just explain it away in one scene or something? ETA: Or they'll use FBs. Remember, those are over this year, so if they're going to have any FBs in S6, it's going to be different.
  22. What bothered me more is that after that OTA scene in the house in Russia, Oliver then had the conversation with Diggle at the bar while Felicity was off elsewhere. And even after Rory tells Oliver he thinks Felicity crossed the line and Oliver knows something's going on with her, it's like as soon as Diggle seemed better, Oliver just also mentally crossed Felicity off the list of people to worry about because ... I don't know? ... and that was it. The relationships among the "core characters" just seem off this season, and I think that part of 512 highlighted that.
  23. In every scene with Oliver so far, Susan has had an agenda, right? "Oh, let's be friends while I name-drop Russia," "let me kiss you while you're clearly upset," "let me bring up the fact that we haven't slept together and then after we do for the very first time, let me ask you all about your past and this tattoo." What's going to be next? "Hi, Oliver, want to talk about how you feel about your ex-fiancee's BF being killed by the GA since that's the story I'm writing and BTW, do you like archery?" That wouldn't be a stretch with the 5x14 synopsis.
  24. Spec, I think from Oliver commenting he can't pardon her. I don't think it'll happen because Diggle was already arrested twice this season. We don't need any more arrests this season.
