I think one of the problems is that almost everything that happened in Russia, only Rory knows. (Curtis seemed completely oblivious and more concerned with using the Russian he learned.) And since Rory is gone, I can't see Felicity telling anyone, "yeah, I did this, yeah, I was willing to sacrifice myself." So I too have low expectations. If Havenrock is mentioned, I don't think it will be in any major way. It might even be in a flashback - maybe they'll throw something in so that they can say, "see, this is why Oliver never checked with her at the beginning of the season. So stop bringing that up." Even though it wouldn't excuse that whatsoever.

That second one would make sense if we're getting the "adult" conversation in 516...
-
Maybe that's the real reason she matters.
-
Yep! That's why no one ever attends class (but still graduates) and has time to sit around during lunch.
-
Why is everyone pushing Oliver/Susan so much? I just don't get it. These interviews aren't going to change anyone's mind about her. In fact, I'm just getting more annoyed the more they talk about her. I have to wonder if this is all supposed to be some big misdirection so that we're surprised when Prometheus/Talia do something else/go after someone else. If it's not... seriously?
-
True. And I think what bothers me is the Oliver we're getting on-screen while this is happening.
-
-
Of course, she can apparently be trusted with everything! I would love it if after Oliver's been kidnapped, we get both Simon and Talia going, "Uh, Oliver, you trusted a reporter with your secret. With multiple secrets. And we've had your office bugged, so we know she told you she was going to write a story on you. And you still trusted her. What is wrong with you? You're making our plan to ruin your life too easy. We went to the movies last month - and it was a double feature. We took a vacation to Europe for a few weeks. All because we didn't need to do anything."
-
Oh, me too. Every time we get another spoiler, I'm just like, "tell me more, tell me more!" (Cue Grease.) You're probably right. Maybe then we can have a repeat of Oliver wondering if he can be in a relationship or if he should be alone.
-
I can see the photos and clips we've gotten of Felicity happy at Helix being from when she's first introduced to them. Then they want a favor and she says no. Then Oliver gets into trouble, and she's willing to do what they want to save him. Cue even more trouble.
-
He probably won't end it even if she betrays him. The way they're writing Oliver right now, he'd probably defend her. "Well, Prometheus had her. She had no choice." Remember, S1-4 only happened when they feel like remembering they did. Stabbed his sister? Made his daughter marry him? Tried to wipe out all of Star City with a virus? What are you talking about? Oliver can't remember any of that because of this: How sad is it that this would make complete sense?
-
I feel like we're getting a lot of Tommy mentions lately. They better not. If they even try to ... rage. Maybe Oliver shows up to wherever he thinks Susan's being held, only she's not there - she already sided with Prometheus/Talia? - and then he ends up being the one in trouble. Cue Felicity joining Helix to save Oliver? And if Susan does in fact betray Oliver, he really shouldn't be surprised considering she went from "you should be impeached" to "sure, I'll keep your secret," in the same episode, after finding out he killed his ex-fiancee's BF. But he'll probably forget that, like he forgot her telling him that she was going to use the information she found on him, so he'll be completely shocked by a betrayal if it happens.

Every time WM mentions Oliver and Susan "caring about" each other, it just makes me want to see her turn on Oliver even more. And right away in the episode too so we don't have to see him "worried" about her for too long. Remember, didn't WM also say it was thanks to Chase that Diggle was out of prison and call Helix Felicity's "old friends" one episode after she met one of them?
-
All that new preview did was remind me how much I just don't care that Prometheus has Susan. Give me more about Felicity and Helix!
-
Maybe BS will escape and prove that Oliver's wrong and she can't be redeemed. Then they close out BS' story in some way and that's it for KC on Arrow. Maybe she can take that photo with her.
-
Does Rene even know Oliver and Felicity were together? If Prometheus is involved at all, he might not know Oliver and Felicity are both there? His goal might be to trap Oliver while something else is happening so Oliver is stuck unable to do something about it, but surprise! Felicity's there too.
-
Imagine if they're trapped in their own elevator because Prometheus has also found a way to override their security system. (Perhaps with Helix's help if Helix is evil?) The team can't keep anyone out of the bunker - they changed the codes after finding out Evelyn betrayed them and Black Siren still got in and no one has even mentioned the fact that Prometheus has to know where the bunker is and bad guys just walk in whenever they want - but a villain can find a way to keep them in. I just get so annoyed about the security (or rather, lack of) for all these superhero bases.
-
I almost hope that Prometheus attacks the bunker somehow if only because he obviously knows where it is from Evelyn and all he's done is what, send BS in there pretending to be Laurel? ETA: This is more of a general observation than 520-specific.

Heartaches, Bromances, True Love and Team Arrow: the Relationships Thread

Oh wow that promo. I don't think I've ever seen it before. If I had, I think I would've been very confused watching the pilot. Especially if it had been the only promo I had seen for the show. -
The Starling City Times: News and Media about Arrow

You know, I'd also rank Rory higher than Rene on that list because of the nuke. -
Why? Was there some loose end with that character I don't remember? (Possible, since I barely remember that episode.) Or is just because he's played by Cody Rhodes?
-
That might fit into them not revealing who Vigilante is until S6. Maybe that's something they're considering, but they want to wait and see if Tinah's a regular to do that? Although the Vigilante reveal could have to do with scheduling in general. Have there been any mentions in interviews about Vigilante popping up again (in any significant way) in the rest of S5? I've only seen the "not revealing him until S6" bit. It's like once they revealed Chase to be Prometheus, it became "Vigilante? Vigilante who?" Don't suggest such a thing! (I don't think they'd kill her off, but I am a bit worried.) I'm going to need some Lyla and Dyla teases for the upcoming episodes.

Maybe the post-sex chat is in the present and one of them will mention not talking after the last time (meaning the FB sex)?

I'm waiting for Star City to send Oliver a break-up text. "Sorry, Oliver, but it's over. It's you, not me."
