If BS is once again siding with Chase (which I assume if she's teaming up with Artemis), please let any hope of redeeming her die.
-
Even if they redeem her and have her join the team next season ... I hope Curtis is working on some smaller sonic dampeners because the one he had in 510 was just a bit too big. Maybe pocket-size ones so they can all carry them with them? I just don't see how they could trust BS, even if her two episodes at the end of the season are her helping the team against Chase. Unless they're going to have her part of the Suicide Squad with a bomb in her neck to keep her in line?
-
Hopefully they give her new boots.

I just have to wonder how. If they're going to redeem her (ugh), are they going to have her join the team? Never mind what happened in 510 and the fact that she tried to kill Felicity even after they tried to talk her down? Never mind the fact that BS will probably easily side with the enemy in a second if she feels her life is threatened? Are they going to have to carry around sonic dampeners to keep her in line? If she's a recurring villain, how is that going to work without just getting repetitive?

But if they redeem BS, what's the point? I honestly don't think Tinah's going anywhere, not since they gave her the comic book name. If she was really just Tina and happened to have the metahuman cry, maybe. And what are they going to do if they do redeem BS? Send her back to her Earth? (Maybe they should. The Flash seems to have abandoned Earth-2 in favor of having Jesse go protect Earth-3.) Have her stick around and have two people on the team with the metahuman cry? Why? What would be the point? And what would they tell Star City? "Uh, so, this is Laurel's doppelganger from another Earth. She actually terrorized our city for a bit - and Central City the year before that - and destroyed that (horrible) statue we spent money on."
-
If KC is in the last 2, it could be she's in the final scene of 22 leading into 23?
-
No one could be that stupid to think she should stick around. They'd have to remember the chip exists for that to happen. I would think they would've brought up what happened to her in 513 if they had any plans related to the chip.

I'm not worried if Sara kills Felicity because this isn't our Felicity or our Sara. It's a world created by the Legion of Doom + Mick. And I don't think they'd ever 5x10-shade Felicity. I'm more interested in why Felicity's there. Is it because she held the umbrella over Mick's head in the crossover and he remembers that? (Just kidding.) But I am interested in seeing if we find out why Felicity is there of all the characters who could be or if they're just going to leave it as, "hey, cool cameo from someone from another show, don't really question why it's Felicity."

I'm pretty sure Star City just needs a reminder every week or so that their mayor is still alive and they count it as a win. So if Oliver had been gone for 7 or 8 days, people would have started asking questions. 6? And with all the out-of-town trips he's been making this year? No big deal.
-
If Sara does decide to be BC, say to honor her sister after the vision in the finale, it would really be an example of the teams-must-not-talk-when-it's-not-crossover-time shield that seems to be around these shows. Imagine if Tinah sticks around on Arrow and becomes BC officially and then it comes time for next year's crossover and Sara and Tinah meet. "Hi, I'm the Black Canary." "Uh...."

Yes to all of this. Even ignoring the lack of Olicity as anything this season, with an explanation coming for that in 520, there's still a lack of anything really for anyone who's not Oliver (though he too has suffered for the newbies) and the new characters this season in general. Diggle had just gotten out of prison when suddenly he became the sounding board/"get an apartment and job!" cheerleader for Tinah. If not for the jbuffy spoilers, would we even know there was Dyla stuff coming up in 520? The only interview quotes from DR about Dyla that I can remember lately are the same ones we've gotten before about her heading ARGUS and the Suicide Squad. If theories about some past villains on Lian Yu for the finale are right, the whole point of the newbies might be so that they can divide up who faces which villain instead of having Oliver running around like it's an obstacle course, going from villain to villain as they just chill and wait for their turn. Did I see a tweet from this weekend about WH saying Thea kicked Susan's ass? Because I'm sorry, but getting her fired for what turned out to be a couple of days(?) doesn't count and if it's something coming up, wouldn't that mean CP would have to be in an episode past 519? Do not want that.
-
I also think if they were planning on Oliver/Tinah, the last thing they'd do is put together an episode like 520, which is bound to remind the audience of Olicity's chemistry, no matter what happens in the episode.

Or not there and apparently taking frequent vacations from Prometheus-ing.
-
I think one of the problems is also the seemingly questionable choices made when it comes to what they spent screentime on and what they haven't thus far and won't be revealed for some time. For example, we're not finding out until episode 20 what happened over the summer between Oliver and Felicity. We had an entire episode about Vigilante, but now we're not going to find out who's behind the mask until S6, and that's obviously because they wanted people to think he was Chase before the Prometheus reveal. Now that that's out of the way, it's like "Vigilante who?" Sometimes I feel like they forgot certain things exist(ed), like the corrupt cops, ACU, Billy, Evelyn, etc. until they throw them in again. Where has Evelyn been this entire time? Will they even address that? It's so important for new recurring characters (Susan, Rene, Tinah) to have jobs and for there to be multiple conversations about their jobs, but not for series regulars who are the smartest people around (Felicity, Curtis) to even address their unemployment other than during an awkward attempt at a cover story. We couldn't even get one conversation or a couple lines of dialogue about that? Things like that do make me question whether certain things were planned or not.
-
I don't think the announcement could be KC as a S6 regular because wouldn't it then potentially spoil what hasn't happened yet? Isn't there a convention this weekend? Maybe someone will give a hint about the announcement.
-
Has the CW ever given a multi-season renewal to a show?
-
Then they could really have America's Next Black Canary. They have to compete for a spot on the team, with OTA the judges.
-
I was thinking it's either S6 series regular news (Tinah, Rene) or KC appearing in the finale, since there was something about a KC announcement, right?
-
Isn't she also the person who spoiled Chase being in the hospital in 513 or was that someone else?
-
Are you talking about the video that played after the finale? I think that was just a thing the CW did for every one of its shows that year, IIRC. Or are you talking about post-season interviews?
-
Yep. And aren't MG's comments in that article about having a show where a couple was engaged then not and still working together exactly what either he or WM said they liked about S5 before it even started airing?
-
Wasn't there a quote about Susan being a reporter maybe being part of the reason she was kidnapped? Maybe that'll come into play in her remaining episodes? Or it'll just end up being yet another thing mentioned in an interview that never happens onscreen.
-
Considering Chase loves to say he's so many steps ahead of Oliver, could he have planned on Oliver calling the Bratva for help next?
-
I just want them to stop wasting screen time on Susan. They've already spent so much time on her and her job and we know we're stuck with her for two more episodes (518 and 519). I want the focus on the characters that matter.
-
Maybe that's why she's around in 519? So then she can use the information she gathered on him when the show was portraying her as this shady reporter, but they'll say, "Well, this wouldn't have happened if he didn't dump her. She's still a good person!" Where's a GIF of Thea's vomit line when I need one?
