Huh. I'm surprised. I expected something flashback or present day island-related. I'm very happy I was wrong.

I'm taking this to mean it's today:
-
I actually hope we get something of Lyla/ARGUS so we can get a better idea about what's coming up there. My guess is we won't get anything more about Helix than what we've already seen in the 519 promo.

Even if Samantha is Chase's ex and he knows where they are because they kept in touch, they'll probably still make it be about how Oliver being in his life could be dangerous to the kid because, despite not letting go of this storyline, I think they realize they can't have the kid around, even part-time. It's already an awful storyline and he just makes it worse when he shows up. But they refuse to make Samantha look like the bad guy, even a little (which is probably why that second check disappeared) so it wouldn't be her fault at all. The bolded part is really what it comes down to. The problem is that they turn it into, "you will care about this kid because he's a kid - and he's Oliver's kid - even if it means that we screw over/forget about the other characters/relationships we've spent 4 (now 5) seasons on" whenever he's on-screen or brought up. It's what happened last year and if he is in fact kidnapped again, which, let's face it, will probably end up being something as stupid as the kid went with his "mother's friend" because Samantha probably never taught him "don't go with strangers" even after he was kidnapped last year, it'll happen again. I really hate this storyline and these characters, and I wish they'd have Flashpoint affect things one more time to make Chase or someone else the kid's father and erase that DNA test.

Watch Malcolm be the one who took William a second time. Because no lessons were learned from that storyline.
-
Let's just hope that Samantha doesn't give Oliver another ultimatum.
-
Maybe Susan's PI found them. He was good enough to find all that info on Oliver for Susan. Then again, we'll probably never see that PI again because Susan is such a "good person."
-
Did they get confused and think season finale = milestone episode or series finale? They don't need to bring everyone back. That being said, why can't they bring back characters I actually care about? Like, say, Walter?
-
Isn't that Captain Boomerang? Digger Harkness? Or am I thinking of another show? I know that's a character's name somewhere.
-
He just obviously missed that helmet and is going to refuse to take it off.

Well, with them celebrating Oliver's birthday in 522, she has to be around for that. Because she can't miss her brother's birthday, but she can give him a call eventually after he's kidnapped and tortured for six days. I really hope they have some amazing explanation for where Thea's been when she pops up in 521 that makes up for her absence after that. But they probably won't even address it.
-
I can't see how Cody Rhodes' return can be anything other than a distraction/something for the B team to deal with in 521. But maybe I'm missing something/it's just because we don't really know much about the episode. Yeah, this and Thea's back in this episode (right?) is all I've seen about the episode.

I'm not surprised. It's probably going to end up being a couple scenes showing she's working with Evelyn and Chase, her part of some sort of fight on Lian Yu and then something that shows her escape/that she's free for whatever's planned in S6. Or would they really lock her up again at the end of the season and have her escape again at the beginning of S6/in a flashback in the premiere to over the summer? They're bringing back enough people in the finale that I didn't expect much. I would laugh, however, if somehow Curtis (or someone) ends up having the sonic dampener on Lian Yu and just takes her out of the fight early on. Probably depends on what those who aren't taken know about who's working with Chase.
-
We don't have anything about what's coming up for Lance right? Other than a photo showing he's going to be on Lian Yu?
-
But is that even necessary now that Felicity got the proof that Chase is Prometheus and the police are after him?
-
There's still the matter of her meeting with her PI after sleeping with Oliver, her comment about not being able to do her story because she was fired and the whole impeached line. By those points, they had to know what they were doing with the character, yet... I think they thought everyone would feel bad for her once she was kidnapped but nope. No one did. Not even Oliver. Or I guess her PI. And yeah, there's definitely something about the way that CP plays her that doesn't fit the Susan they're trying to sell in interviews.
-
Don't forget she's also apparently in 519 too for something that will inevitably just take up screentime and be ... nothing.
-
Yeah didn't he say something about how the close-up on Susan's wrist was nothing too? Although didn't WM also say in some interview that it was supposed to remind us about her investigation? But if Felicity does oppose Helix, I thought it would happen before 522? Unless with 521 about fathers, it just doesn't come up again until 522? ETA: WM's quote was about the vodka not wrist.

And MG used #flipover to describe that Delicity scene coming up, right?
-
When I see people talking about BS/Oliver simply because she was with the Oliver on her Earth, I can't help but wonder what they'd want to happen if they did put them together and then brought Laurel back to life. For Oliver to just dump BS for E1 LL? For them to share him? What exactly? It's not fair for all parties involved. I also would really like to know how MG picks the Qs he answers because I'm sure there are some raising some of the points we have here about some storylines that he chooses not to address even though it's really needed especially this season. Yep. It also makes me want to see all the scripts.
-
Yay for Delicity! The only thing I can think of for Felicity's storyline in S6 is her own company.
-
An overhead shot of the island? Then it can be a question of whether it's supposed to be a flashback or present day, and there will be some little thing that will tell us the answer.

I think a problem with Oliver being outed as GA - whether he does it himself or not - is that there is a real possibility that they will ignore past events to fit around whatever they want to happen next. The fact that he's killed and there is a record of those kills? If they don't want Oliver to face any consequences/want Star City to just accept he's GA, they'll figure out a way to make that happen. Any possible consequences for those working with him? How they handle those could depend on the character. If they want to explore the consequences for one character and not another, they probably would while ignoring the other's actions/come up with a reason why nothing will happen to said character.
