  1. It seemed like Amy arrived late at night, and by the time she got there, her hosts (the brother and sister-in-law) were already in bed. So she was going to have to wake up in a strange house with people she had never met! It probably would have been easier if Danny could have taken her to his house (his parents house or whatever...not sure where he lives) and she could have stayed there the first night. Surely he could contain himself for one night and sleep on the couch or something. Their situation reminds me a lot of Alan and Kirylam from the first season. I can barely stand to watch Danielle. She makes me so uncomfortable, with all the giggling and simpering, and I do no buy for one hot second that Mohammed is attracted or genuinely wants to be married to her. Y'all, Yamir's manager Gabriel is totally the Lou Perlman of Nicarauga!
  2. Ha ha, my parents went to college in Galesburg, IL, where Chelsea is from, and I have several family members that live there! It really is a pretty small town. I think Yamir would be much better off if they were settling in a bigger city. I will say, it's fairly easy to fly back and forth from the US to Central America (it's not like Russia or something) so it should be feasible for him to go back to record with his fellow boy band members or whatever. Danielle is out of her mind! I kind of hoped Mohammed wouldn't even show up, because I think it would have made for some good TV. I don't think they'll end up getting married.
  3. Was Drew in the season premiere? Or is the last time we saw him heading out of town in Zeke's restored car?? I loved the Zeke and Amber scene, but most of the rest of the ep was terrible. Someone mentioned up-thread the way he calls the kids, "Grand-Son" or "Grand-Daughter," which is adorable, and I noticed last Christmas that Craig T. Nelson does the exact same thing in the movie "The Family Stone." So I'm wondering if it's something the actor ad-libbed at first, and the writers picked up?? And yeah, the Bravermans are all going to be working at Special Snowflake Academy by the end of the year. Crosby can teach music and Jasmine can do dance, Millie can be the art teacher, Hank will teach photography and Sarah...I'm not sure. Bartending? Screenwriting? Getting obsessed with something and dropping it the next season? That leaves Julia to do all the "real" subjects, like math and English, for which the kids will have approximately 15 minutes.
  4. Okay, wasn't there a period of time after Amber and Ryan broke up where she was going out and drinking a lot and possibly hooking up with guys? I just assumed THAT was when she got pregnant with some random dude. And then maybe when she saw Ryan again, it triggered something and made her realize, "Hey, I haven't gotten my period in a while. Shit, could I be pregnant?" All she told the doctor was that she wasn't with the father any more. Have they ever SAID it was Ryan?
  5. I think there was an assumption that it was a community pool and not Kathy's house because there was what looked like a commercial Coke cooler in the background of a lot of scenes. But the general thought at the time was that maybe it was something Richie had in one of his gas stations that wasn't being used anymore?
  6. I'm predicting that Monet and Vaughn bail tomorrow night, and decide to get divorced, and the other two couples stay together. Then at the 6-month checkup will learn that Cortney and Jason have split, and that Doug and Jamie are the only ones to stay married. It would turn out to be a good "narrative arc," if you will, actually...the couple that had the toughest time right off the bat, and nearly derailed with the stupid cigarette lie, are the ones who made it work.
  7. Vaughn wants a goddamn medal for every single thing he does for Monet! That kind of dude would drive me crazy...he seems like he's constantly accounting for all the husband points he racks up, and keeping score with all the wifely things she does (or rather, doesn't do, apparently) for him. I would have liked to see the social experiment last a bit longer before they had to make their decision -- 90 days, maybe?
  8. Every time I see Breelan I think she looks like a poor man's Blair Waldorf -- the actress' name esecapes me at the moment, but y'all know who I'm talking about. If she was a darker brunette the resemblance would be even more striking.
  9. Does anyone know when this season was filmed vs. when Season 1 was aired? I'm wondering if Kate and the other newbies had time to see the veterans of the show (Kat and Ben) in action before they started their "jobs"??
  10. Kate has a blog...it's interesting and she's not a bad writer: http://luckycharming.wordpress.com/. At least she admits that she was spoiled and pampered, and does appear to actually work hard and not complain about it. And she seems to be a much better manager than Adrienne was. She's definitely my favorite new addition to the cast. I wish Dave had come back...I liked him too. I'm not missing Sam or, surprisingly, Adrienne.
  11. That's what I dont get, What In The...if Jim was so worried about protecting his professional reputation, then perhaps he shouldn't have let his wife sign up for a reality show with the Guidices! He had to know they would be forced to socialize with each other, and also that it was likely that a fight or two or ten would break out in the course of a season.
  12. So I just looked it up, and it's a 5-hour drive from Atlanta to Destin. Even if we assume they lost an hour or so on the way for their gas station stop, and accounting for slower travel in an RV, that means they left at like, 7 p.m. Also, there was a shot of them givng the babies baths in the RV! Why did they need to bathe the babies on the way? None of that made any sense and seemed like a total producer set-up.
  13. I was home sick one day last week and watched most of RHONY Season 3 on Hulu Plus, including the fashion show, Scary Island, the Bethenny/Jill meltdown and the epic reunion. It was glorious! If only they had the RHODC!
  14. I interpreted Carol's "You're nothing," as "You know nothing about the publishing industry, you're not even a published writer yet, you're not a critic or an editor, and you don't know what you're talking about." But I love Carole and will pretty much always defend her. And geez, I thought we wouldn't have to hear anything else about the ghost writer until the reunion, but of course, Aviva had to throw it out during the fight. Let it go, lady! Sonja's party had me in hysterics before Aviva even threw her leg. There was something terribly funny about the whole thing -- the assorted collection of attendees, her rambling on and on about her team and her brand, the pigs in a blanket! Comedy gold!!
  15. I'm assuming (hoping) that those Christmas morning scenes were recreated or filmed earlier. I would feel very sorry if the crew members had to miss Christmas with their own families to film these women! I bet Tre's real Christmas was when the big ticket items came out.
  16. Didn't she say the cops were called, the pilot got involved, etc.? Wouldn't there be, I don't know, POLICE REPORTS?? I just can't believe we wouldn't have heard one word about it until it was broadcast on KKWTK.
  17. A blood test can reveal the sex pretty early, but Brianna looked waaaaay more pregnant than three months along. I'm guessing it was shot later in the filming window and inserted earlier into the timeline. Does anyone know when they wrapped? I have never been a Tamra fan but she just gets worse and worse every season. And Eddie is so totally over her drama.
  18. I kept waiting for it to turn into something more. Like, Tracie had given this woman money to help with her friends' funeral costs, or there was some proof that Sammie was actually (physically) stalking her or Marissa and they were in real danger. Or it was a guy! I don't know, but it turned out to be really incredibly boring.
  19. Because this is basically my life... Mike: Siri, how many horses died during WWI? Selina: I'm not talking about dead horses! Mike: Siri, cancel request.
  20. Aviva annoys the everloving fuck out of me. I just CAN'T with her anymore. There is something wrong with that woman. One of the things that bothers me the most is how calculating she is. She knows that by going out of her way to compliment Carole on the book...emphatically...in front of cameras, that she can use that FOREVER. Watch, on the reunion, we're going to hear, "But Carole, I looooved your book. I told you that!" It allows her to claim that she's taking the high road in the most devious way possible.
  21. I don't blame her either, tinaw! Although it's starting to drag on a bit. The last couple WWHL polls have shown most viewers to be on Carole's "side." Heather seems to be one of those annoying people who give EVERYONE nicknames...she calls Aviva "Veevs," and had some name for Sonja that I can't remember.
  22. Carole didn't hook up with any Kennedys. She was married to Anthony Radziwill, who's mother Lee Radziwill was Jackie Kennedy's Onassis' sister. Anthony and JFK Jr. were very, very close, and Carole became good friends with Carolyn Besette Kennedy, JFK Jr's wife. So yes, her connection to the rest of the Kennedys IS tenuous -- and I don't think she's ever claimed to be super-close with them. She mentioned in her Bravo blog that she saw some of them not too long ago at a wedding. She does seem to be fairly close with her former mother-in-law. She is a Radziwill (through marriage) not a Kennedy.
  23. Eeeek, my first previously.tv post! I can't believe I have to say this, but I really felt for Kenya with the death of Velvet. Like her I'm single and live alone and lost my cat over the holidays and it was (is!) really, really tough. And Velvet's death was a lot more traumatic than my cat's. That being said...girl can dial up the dramatics to 11. It was hard to watch I totally missed the Phaedra/Apollo pottery scene, which a) Thank you jesus and b) It wasn't until the end that I realized I hadn't ever seen her on screen. Porsha is special. And not in a good way.
