  1. I got so annoyed with the ANGST over whether Papa Scott would be able to make the wedding in Italy. I'm going to hope it was played up for this, but there's a really easy way to get around that--don't get married in Italy.
  2. Agreed. I wasn't impressed; it would be nice if I could see that he had years of formal training.
  3. There's no way Amazon would stop selling his books because of allegations of lewd remarks. There weren't any allegations of physical assault--other than the one ass grab--or rape or anything with anyone underage. I could see Empirical not publishing future books, but they'd still get sales from previous ones.
  4. I get that the show wants us to feel for Lord Alfred and Drummond having feelings for each other, but I know so little about either of them that I have no reason to ship them. I'm not entirely sure of Lord Alfred's role, and keep confusing Drummond with the kid from downstairs who was gossiping about Francatelli.
  5. I don't think having him be isolated from Rebecca would mean we wouldn't get to see his story. WhiJo and Darryl's baby drama has zero to do with Rebecca, but we've seen that arc.
  6. I did find it hard to believe that Josh's friends would believe the article, but as soon as he started listing all the stuff Rebecca did, I could understand their reaction. Listed out like that, they would find it hard to believe.
  7. The show is fascinating, but I just do not care about Fitz's romantic life. Don't care about the wife. Don't care about the linguist who made a pass at him. Like, I get where she was coming from, but I also am annoyed with her--of course he came to her, she's the one who helped with the language in the first place. I think the takeaway from this episode is how Fitz sucks to the women in his life.
  8. There really wasn't anything Mark could've said at that point. I've been in those conversations with bullies, where I know that nothing I say will make a difference, no matter how logical or persuasive or accurate.
  9. The Maggie subplot was stupid, but I appreciated her being all "Eh, whatever" when mustache lady stormed out. She wasn't invested, so it wasn't that big a deal.
  10. Eh, I don't know. Anne raved about Bobby's grits. She said they both did the shrimp really well, but I didn't get the impression she was particularly bowled over by David's food.
  11. I can't warm to Alex, just because of how quickly and how extremely she turned on Megan. It just made no sense to me. I felt so bad for Megan; I'm glad she's out of the house. At this point, I don't know who I can pull for. I guess it's the usual lesser-of-the-evils, so I want Cody and Jessica out ASAP. The way they took credit for Megan leaving was absolutely disgusting.
  12. Ugh, Cody is so gross and frustrating. "I can tell I can't trust them." Shocking that he knows the trustworthy people are the conventionally attractive women and bros. Dude clearly has zero social game. If someone not in his group talks to him, it's like talking to a wall.
  13. I was a bit bummed we didn't get to hear how Andrew's (right? The redhead) Jaffa cakes tasted. I know he did them upside-down, but did they taste right?
  14. Thanks for IDing the guy as being from 2gether! I loved that show and still have some of their songs in regular rotation on iTunes.
  15. I thought the caption said it was a wake thrown by the Browns.
  16. Yes, that really annoyed me.
  17. It'll be interesting to see what happens when Rebecca gets over Josh. I hope that she and Josh are together long enough for her to realize that he isn't perfect, that he can't fix her problems.
  18. I loved how Greg and Rebecca were trying to be subtle at the bar, but everyone immediately knew what was going on. That seems accurate. I was frustrated that Rebecca lied to Paula, but like others, was happy it was resolved so quickly. I should have more faith; this show consistently upends those expectations in really good ways.
  19. His hair looked much better in the beginning of the season. When he was in 1776 last week, it looked much less helmet-y, so that's encouraging.
  20. A few people have said that Rebecca has never shown interest in Greg, but I don't think that's true. If you go back to the "Settle for Me" episode, when they went on their date, it was the fact that she was on a date and having adult interactions with someone she liked--that clearly this was a relationship that could potentially go somewhere--that caused her to freak out.
  21. Edith never seemed really involved with the magazine to begin with, other than the one episode where she managed to put it together. I would've loved it if she had moved to London and been involved with the day-to-day operations, but she was always hands off about it. Periodic phone calls and visits, but that's about it.
  22. It's hard to tell Mary's reaction, honestly--she's already in shock from what just happened with her father, so processing the news about Marigold isn't happening at the moment.
  23. I assume it'll make a return...and ignore Richard, who will have taken a step forward in his relationship with Bobbie. /speculation/
  24. Yeah, Jimmy had nothing to learn in this episode. The first part with missing the party wasn't good, but as soon as the brother was leading the kids in the "deadbeat" song--just, nope. That was awful, and it is awful that Sara didn't say anything until Jimmy forced her hand. I can't believe Jimmy went along with it; honestly, he has very little to apologize for.
