we were at a fancy B&B with our 9 month old (all approved before-hand, and we were in a detached cabin). Somehow a small amount of liquid meds for the kiddo got spilled on the sheets. You can believe we stripped the bed and immediately ran cold water through the sheets and then dried them with a hair dryer! I can't even imagine leaving blood for someone to find.

actually plantain I believe. The whole exercise just seemed so random. Make the food on the emoji (or something that looks like it) or riff on the emotion (if there is one), or.....

I rewatched; they didn't look *terrible* to me, but on close inspection they did remind me of those polyester pants (with the sewn in crease) that were popular in the 70s.

Exactly. EXACTLY. Now I have to go check Padma's pants, as I didn't notice first time around :)

Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage

I hear you. I can't stand him either. I hate that whole over-acting schtick. -
I can't even remember what he cooked or froze or whatever in the mold. You weren't going to eat it, right? So what's the point? It could have been a hand-shaped plate for that matter.

I'm too lazy to rewatch, but despite what Tom said at judging time, I thought he was looking for a "classic" omelet, with whatever modifications or enhancements the chef might want to make. And as much as I like Sylwia, she made baked scrambled eggs.

Say What?: Commercials That Made Us Scratch Our Heads

why am I suddenly seeing a ton of ads that tell me that "there's no 't' in Skechers"???? This product has been around for decades (30+ years per google). Why is this suddenly an issue? -
I guess everyone looks at things differently. I like Sara a lot, and I am NOT the type to like crass people. I am somewhat clueless in recognizing faces, but I was today years old today when I realized that Nicole is (apparently) half asian.

I thought that spoiling LCK was off-limits here. I don't care because I watch it, but not everyone does. I seriously thought he'd get dinged by putting a lot of "non-edible plant matter" on his plate.

Colin talking about "taking it easy" made ME nervous. Suppose to get out there in the middle of the water and then the engine dies. You can't come back to dock on sail....

I think that's what he said. But I hate most of his names. "Dancing Spice Queen"? WTH? -
I thought it was funny when Colin said he had experience salvaging engines. His experience was that it blew up!

Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage

I do have T2D (but don't take this drug). It's really stupid. It kind of reminds me (in cringe-worthy-ness) of the painful "up with people" super bowl halftime show from ages ago. -

Maybe they are just bored :) Was there a show last night? Haven't seen any comments and I haven't checked yet. -
nvm

The only thing I can think of is to emphasize that they should elevate it to "fancy," plus the trip to the fancy-foods store.
-
a la "Emma" on the trip to Box Hill, right?
-
I guess I'm an outlier. So much of it looked liked packaged boxes and jars (very pretty). I know they had fresh stuff too, but that's not the overall emphasis that I could see. Did Tom buy a lot of his expensive stuff there that he could just as well have bought at Whole Foods (like fish etc)?

But she might have lost her ability to breast feed. I say this as someone who gave up pumping and just visited my babies at lunch time and let the daycare use formula to fill in. It worked for me. So I guess she could have pumped much less while on the road to keep up her ability.

Personally I think it's impressive. It's unpleasant and takes a lot of time (yes I have personal experience, and I was just an office worker)
-
I noticed that as well. Kind of the opposite of showing the same shots of the nubile young yachties on Below Deck

I missed that she was using black walnuts. My late father absolutely loved them (it's a rather strong flavor). I brought cookies with black walnuts to his memorial reception two years ago.

I can't even remember- what did Tom buy that used up so much of the budget? I also thought that the caviar on Dale's eggs cost quite a bit?
