  1. I'm listening to Dirty John and am outraged by the stupidity of one of his victims, Debra. Still, I highly recommend it.
  2. For the host to break-out laughing once is adorable and endearing. To break-out laughing during every live scene is unprofessional and annoying. Very strange!
  3. I'm over forty and recently had a young whippersnapper pull what Megan did. I stole the line from Bill Maher's show. My recap: the young one was supposed to know and write something about Woodstock and she said, "I don't know, I wasn't born yet." I egregiously said , "I wasn't alive during the French Revolution but I know about it." I'm an asshole.
  4. As a member of Mensa, she should know the reference.
  5. At least Raven entertains me. Matt is a pathological bore.
  6. The other night, Alex reminded everyone how Jessica smacking her on the behind triggered Alex because her cousin was raped and murdered, so as a "survivor" Alex was traumatized by Jessica. Jason's rape rant apparently triggered only laughter. Alex is absolutely despicable and has fallen below Raven now as my least favorite houseguests. The woman is a sociopath.
  7. Yes, Hockeymom. I came here to see if anyone else noticed. Her reactions were cracking me up.
  8. Right, and Cody is broke. He told a story weeks ago how his truck broke down on the side of the road right before he came into the house. He didn't have the money to replace the part so he left it there. When he gets out, the truck will be towed and the storage fees will be huge. Plus he will have no transportation. Add that to NOT getting paid for BB and being charged travel and lodging and Cody would be very stupid to DOR.
  9. The night before last, I watched Paul and Kevin discuss Cody. Paul said that Cody repeatedly talks about the need to go to war with other countries. They questioned how a vet who has seen combat would be so enthusiastic about the US getting involved in more conflicts. Also, Cody told Kevin that when Big Brother came to shoot his introduction segment, he tried to convince them to film him hunting animals. Big Brother insisted he just shoot at inanimate targets. Cody is psycho.
  10. I watched the doc and it's fantastic. In it, they discuss how Gemma (the better one on-cam) is an extrovert and the other is an introvert and how they investigated the murder by playing to their strengths.
  11. I took a mental health day today from The View two-minutes after Kaitlyn Jenner started spewing her narcissistic take on politics.
  12. According to the all-knowing Whoopi, there are only 25 plumbers in the entire state of New Jersey.
  13. I missed that. Does Paul (or anyone) know that Ramses has the curse?
  14. Life changes. If you look at the early years, people regretted that there was any social media at all. Roll with the punches, Callaphera! I don't mean to be condescending but I see this complaint every year. We're not going back!
  15. The bone marrow segment had me bawling. I thought the produced package was beautiful. The donor seems like he's uncomfortable with the attention and he could have been more affectionate but God bless the guy! The recipient would have probably liked a hug but I thought the whole thing was fantastic and worthy of TV. I have been in the bone marrow registry for about five years and I often wonder if I get the call what I would have to shuffle in my crazy life to donate, if need be. The donor is a rock star, if you ask me.
  16. I watched this show last night for the first time and am kind of hooked. To me, Brendon (sp?), the transgender man, appeared narcissistic. His date was a deep, beautiful and seemingly successful woman. I understand not being attracted to someone who "on-paper" is perfect, but his self-satisfaction was a little too glib and it bugged me.
  17. What was Bentley doing with his ear in the scene in the kitchen with Maci? He folded it into his ear canal. Odd!
  18. I just read this blind item and the popular guess is that Whoopi hit the roof when she found out that Rosie O'Donnell will replace her. Could it be? : [Blind Gossip] A casting upheaval at a long-running TV show just resulted in a huge backstage fight! This dreaded cast member – who is the show’s lead – was planning to leave. The producers decided to fill her position with a mouthy former cast member. However, they decided to keep the replacement a secret from Dreaded because they know that she absolutely hates Mouthy and would create drama if she found out. Well, Dreaded somehow found out last week that Mouthy was going to replace her anyhow… and all hell broke loose! Dreaded exploded when she found out! She couldn’t believe that of all the people they could pick to replace her, they had picked Mouthy, because they know she hates Mouthy’s guts. Dreaded was screaming at one of the producers, “You black stabber”! [That producer happens to be black]. She was screaming at [one of the other cast members] and calling her “Traitor!” because she supposedly knew that Mouthy was coming back but kept it a secret from Dreaded. Dreaded started yelling that “Maybe I won’t leave after all!” She said that she was going to go have “a little talk with the folks upstairs” (corporate) about staying on for another year. She knows that if she stays, Mouthy will not come back. So Dreaded would stay on the show…. just to spite everyone and to prevent Mouthy from being on the show! Oh, the drama! The egos! The over-talking! Sounds like the backstage fights are even better than the on-camera fights… PS: Sorry for the weird formatting. I can't seem to fix it
  19. Regarding the 9-1-1 tape, my impression is that the plaintiff kept giving the operator his address but she couldn't hear him because the defendant was acting like a lunatic in the background. Out of frustration, the plaintiff said to track his address by GPS. Also 9-1-1 operators ask who stabbed/shot victims so police can have it as evidence if the story changes. I watch A LOT of Forensic Files :).
  20. Whoopi doesn't have the ability to formulate a sentence. She is completely inarticulate.
  21. Especially Lauren, the desperate single one. Holy crap! She sounds like a machine gun. I listened to the podcast "Watch What Crappens" and the two hosts had me laughing in tears imitating the twins talking to each other. Carl sometimes looks handsome to me. Other times, I think he looks like a psych patient, with those deep-set eyes. He certainly thinks highly of himself though.
  22. From MaggieMae: "Jed might want to consider Trump took so much flack in late 2015 for mocking the reporter he put it in his act about Cruz in Jan 2016. Didn't fool me one bit." Wow, I had no idea... Trump was obviously advised to use the same jerky mannerisms to mimic Cruz so his camp can claim it's just what he does. Jed is simply following the mandate. She is despicable. I still maintain though that Elisabeth is the worst. Can you imagine her defense of Trump? I tremble.
  23. My hunch is that Gunther is a red herring and Professor French Cliche stabbed Noah.
  24. What lecturing and scolding, the fact that many supported Clinton? If a decades-over boyfriend of mine developed mental illness, I wouldn't take it upon myself to get him psychiatric help. I would leave it up to his family. Duvall's mother, cousin and boyfriend apparently contacted Dr. Phil and while I think it was a dumb move, that's their choice. It's not Norman Lear's responsibility to step in and get her treatment.
  25. Did the lemonade kid say how much it costs to franchise? The whole thing was confusing. Why would a kid want to run a lemonade stand with Jack's name on it and only get 15% of sales? Do franchisees make their own drinks or is it Jack's brand? I'm surprised to that Jack didn't let the Sharks sample anything. So many questions!
