  1. Wow, those dresses look like a bunch of wrinkled schmattas. And the shoes are just not formal enough. Yech.
  2. Is there a reunion to be shown here? Something was mentioned upthread, but I didn't understand if it was already shown? Oh, look, here's a Youtube clip.
  3. Well, that makes sense. Good thing for plaintiff, because, as JJ did say, IRS agents are watching her show day and night to troll for violators. I have to say, I had never heard her say that before.
  4. I could not understand the charity angle. Who is the recipient of the donated socks? Why does anyone think it's necessary to give away socks?
  5. Deandre was countersuing for his share of an illegal tax scheme (plaintiff was going to declare him as a dependent)--plaintiff did not pay him his share of the loot for a phony tax credit. I'm surprised JJ didn't add that courts can't help litigants enforce unlawful contracts.
  6. DVR lists it as one long ep. I think it would be easier to comment as one episode.
  7. Well, I did notice that Jim Boob gave his MOTHER a side hug! Wacko.
  8. Darn, I missed this, and they haven't put it on On Demand yet. They keep moving this show around, I think, and yes the other programming stinks. I stopped watching Jersey Housewives and all the other current shows except Melbourne and Million Dollar Listing LA. The new Manzo program looks intolerable.
  9. Maybe because the whole entrance was staged and he had already greeted her. No one thought to direct him to . do it again.
  10. Didn't John Doofus also go to ALERT? Wouldn't they have done some rapelling there, so he should have felt comfortable doing that jump. His wimp-out performance (not to mention his below-average looks and austistic-spectrum personality) will be driving away the potential brides.
  11. This is one of the greatest episodes ever. I rarely laugh out loud at any TV, but I was screaming with laughter at this one, although I felt a bit guilty laughing at such afflicted people.
  12. 1) I looked up Melbourne Cup on Wikipedia. It seems to be equivalent to the Kentucky Derby. 2) agreed--one of the most hilarious exchanges ever.
  13. Chyka looked to be at a loss for words when asked for an opinion on the Mascara packaging. I think she struggled to avoid saying it was a train wreck. The launch party was scheduled for two weeks hence? And they had no product? WTF?
  14. Okay, I can't help myself. Andrea just doesn't stand up straight! It looks awful whenever they show that opening clip of her hitting a tennis ball. And other times. I struggle with posture, and other things, but that's a reason, among many, I wouldn't put myself on TV! Andrea also has a low-class accent: She adds that Boston R at the end of words, e.g., she pronounces Chyka as "cheeker" and Gina as "jeaner," and so on. That is all.
  15. Smirking troll, indeed: love your description. Really one of the most bizarre, irritating litigants ever. That's why it was almost a JJ first: awarding the plaintiff the full amount on a loan that really was not formalized in any way because there was no way anyone would front someone that much money without an expectation of getting it back. I think troll was trying to portray plaintiff as some kind of love interest, but it didn't work.
  16. That seemed like some super-expensive camera! I wonder if they bought it used!
  17. For those of us who did not watch, please tell us what the tidbit was. Bravo has a tidbit from the aftershow on its web site, but there she is saying something nice about Lauer.
  18. I'm just happy that Eyebrows got stood up. He is a major tool.
  19. I tuned it to see Rosie O. I liked her as the moderator. I think the show would be improved with her returning to that spot. I really didn't watch often in the intervening years. I find this boring so far and I think I will stop watching.
  20. This episode is so problematic I would not be surprised if it is destined for the dustbin of history, removed from any further displays, downloads, on-demand performances, etc. Could be legal trouble for Bravo airing this.
  21. The New York Post is reporting some weird lawsuit against Aviva alleging that she was trying to get "commissions" for hanging art in her apartment and having it appear on the show. http://pagesix.com/2014/09/15/former-real-housewife-accused-of-extorting-5k-from-artist/ I don't have the mental energy to comment further on the silly mess.
  22. Thanks for all the great comments above. I haven't got time to write such well thought out posts, but you've all now summed up what has been laid out for us over the season. Just want to add that here in NYC the cosmetic dermatologists and plastic surgeons also do the same thing with skin care lines, so I agree that Andrea is piggybacking on hubby. Jackie: $4,000 for tacky lingerie with weird superhero swirls over her boobs? What was that? Lydia: weirdly oversexualized with her frequent double entendres. But when she laid herself back in that exam chair I wanted to apply eye bleach. There is something wrong with her. People who have that compulsion to always insert a zinger that makes everyone uncomfortable have some form of personality disorder. She thinks she is being edgy, but maybe she has some damaged sexual history.
  23. I cant link to that request. I watched the new show and i would comment but i don't know that this show will last. I agree with posters who think three judges is too many.
  24. I can't tell you how disturbing I felt this was. Child Protective Services should be called. I would love to see the casting calls on this show. What could they have been advertising for?
  25. Dentist Lee was so much better after he took off that dumb bowtie. It's like he relaxed. His brother wears bowties too. They must be imitating their father. I just can't stand men who affect bowties, and I say affect because they are affected.
