Jessa must be whacked out on a shit ton of pain drugs if she thinks a name like that is appropriate. For a cat, maybe, or a goldfish, but not for a baby.

I have another theory on the name delay. I suspect that Ben is behind it. He likes drama. Remember his elaborate proposal? The mysterious written clues, the plane flight, random people offering her flowers, the train ride and finally the proposal in the chapel? I wouldn't be surprised if he and Jessa have cooked up some attention-getting theatrical stunt to reveal the name instead of just announcing it like normal people do.

ABC's evening news just did a story on Jill and Jessa's reaction to the scandal. Jessa was identified as "Jessa Duggar Dillard" and Jill as "Jill Duggar Seewald." Evidently whoever orders their graphics has never seen "19 Kids and Counting."

Re Jim-Bob and Michelle's flaunting their sexuality around their children, it makes me wonder if it's more than just passive-aggressive behavior. I wonder if either Jim-Bob, Michelle, or both of them fantasize about the sexual frustration going on in the kids' rooms and that they use these thoughts as an aphrodisiac to spice up their sex life. I'll bet they get turned on just thinking about it. The fetish for saving the first kiss for the altar also might be a turn-on for married fundies, who go home from a wedding, imagine the newlyweds having their first sexual experience, and hump madly that night after they get home. I know, brain bleach. Sorry about that.

The Jill and Michelle tea party seemed awkward to me. It's almost as if a producer decided that they needed to make Michelle seem more maternal and supportive by staging a scene where Michelle gives Jill advice on pregnancy. But it just looked fake. There was very little evidence of mother-daughter closeness between the two of them. I agree with another poster upthread about Michelle's bug-eyed expression and squeaky voice in that scene when she was doing Josie's hair. That was just plain creepy.

Jessa has shown herself so far to have better taste in all things than Jill (or the rest of the Duggars, for that matter). The proposal, the wedding and bridesmaids' dresses, the ceremony and the honeymoon were all elegant and classy compared to Jill's. Therefore I am guessing that she will also pick simple, traditional names for her children and not the popular, overused fundy cliche names or fanciful made-up names with weird spellings.

Anyone care to speculate on what M4's name will be? I've noticed that all three of the M kids' names start with "M" and have a hard "k" sound: Mackynzie, Michael and Marcus. So I'm guessing that they'll name M4 something along the lines of "Mikayla."

I wish that "Kid Farm" would do a parody of Jill's never-ending pregnancy. They could give her ridiculously huge balloon-sized belly which finally explodes and shoots Israel Messiah Jesus-Bob Dillard clear into the next county.

Since Dill Pickle hasn't been born yet, is it all right if I change my guess about the name and weight?

Another TWoP refugee here, under the same screen name. I have a daily lurker there for years but I don't think I posted more than once or twice. You guys always have been so spot on in your observations about the Duggar family circus and have expressed your insights so much more succinctly (and wittily) than I could have done, it would have seemed redundant for me to post. The 19 Kids and Counting thread there has made me laugh -- and made me think -- more times than you can ever know, and I appreciate you guys so much! I was devastated to read that TWoP forums are going away but am relieved to be able to feed my habit here.
