S10.E12: Racing To The Truth
Chicklet replied to Muffyn's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
I saw someone say that they saw Gretchen in the group for lunch at Heather's. So I re-watched and damn if it didn't look like her. Why would Heather invite her? Were they friends? -

If I were Anna I'd rapidly increase his intake of saturated fats and carbs and keep at it until he explodes one way or the other. -

Shannon just wants retribution through torture. Sadly we have to be tortured along with David and their kids. I want to smack her into next week. What on earth does she think she's doing? I don't know of many people have have gotten chemo for cancers such as Brooks' type who receive chemo through an arm vein. For follow up treatment of colon cancer and other solid tumors yes. But blood cancers not usually at all, the chemo just eats veins and then you have a whole nother problem. -

All I want to know is if Brooks died yet from his untreated cancer. Knowing the answer to that will satisfy me. Vickie is overreacting to all this Meghan crap which makes me very suspicious and the fact that she and Brooks broke up since he is the love of her life makes me curious too. And kudos to the poster who remembered that Vic thought a psychic was able to talk to her mom since she is a good christian and all that. Thingss that make you go hmmmm. Shannon, dear god woman just pull the plug. (small voice- is it bad of me that I want Brooks to show us his port?) -

I don't think Anna has the spine to take the kids and leave. I don't mean that in a "she's spineless" way, I mean she hasn't developed one in that she's internalized all the KEEP SWEET, speak softly, support your headship, the only opinions that matter are your headship's memos. She doesn't even know what she, as a person, thinks. She doesn't even think of herself as a person, just a mother, wife, "good christian". She has no personal identity but boy this is the impetus to develop one. Or not. We will see what she does. -
Jessa and her boytoy are going to experience some grinding poverty because the Bobster set her and the whole family up for poor financial management due to the spending spree they have been on since the TLC gig. Buy used and save the difference, pfft thats for losers unless someone thinks they are buying used macs and iphones. Living debt free was just a load of sound bites because they wanted to impress the masses with their specialness. Jessa learned nothing about living frugally. When I see Johanna living in her own house on the compound I'll believe they had a plan and followed it.

In my head JimBob calls Jill: JB:Helloo? Jill:Hi who is this? JB: This is your father, come home. Jill: I can't dad, we aren't done converting Christians to Christianity. JB:Ja...ji....whatever your name is, come home now, we need all our children, your brother has ruined everything. And bring the other one with you. Jill: Sorry dad Jesus is calling, gotta go now, kthxbai!

Maybe they keep moving on to new countries to keep JimBob from finding them.

S10.E11: A Psychic Surprise
Chicklet replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
I don't think Terry would be able to find out anything about Brooks. He's a plastic surgeon who would have no reason to ask an oncologist or some alternative practitioner about their patient. Medical info doesn't flow like water between providers, especially if they aren't in the same practice or aren't already involved with that patient. We have to jump through all the HIPPA hoops to get info on the patients we already have. -

David Vitter is still employed after his little "indiscretion" so maybe Josh is employable in the future. And those two fundie Michigan state senators who were doing each other while lying that he was gay and blackmailed and...the list goes on, memories fade and sooner rather than later Josh will be back in business slut-shaming for Jesus. -
S10.E11: A Psychic Surprise
Chicklet replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
If only Vicki had spoken to a psychic..... And really that ending was stupid, and Shannon honey you never heard of "kill the messenger"? -
I think a lot of us would consider her life a living hell: no education, being married to a guy who is mentally still in jr high to high school, a guy she didn't even choose, not having someone in the family being able to support her. Oh yea they are earning money at the moment but just wait til they have 7 kids and one on the way and Bin is still trying to get onto the "famous preacher" bandwagon. Sad that the best years of her life were when she was a teenager.

Please please someone with sense on this show (yea I know) make Vicky stop gagging. And everything is taken out of "content". Sure ladies, sure.

You all are fabulous human beings, just saying. My thoughts out to everyone who lost family, either furry or not. And WanderWoman I don't know if you tried the American Cancer society, but they have people who might be able to hook you up in some with support services. (http://www.cancer.org/AboutUs/HowWeHelpYou/ContactUs/Index or 1-800-227-2345), seriously reach out to them and you might find some amazing people. Me and my dislocated kneecap are feeling mighty lucky right now and now I'm remembering about the SRA reading program which taught me to speed read and get into all kinds of trouble in college. I read fast, finshed all exams early so they thought I was cheating. Or stupid. Ugh.

S07.E15: Don't Be All, Like, Uncool
Chicklet replied to zoeysmom's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
I'd rather be shown on tv like Bethany or Heather and never as a screaming, slurring drunk. Nasty drunks trip my wires and make me so uncomfortable I run. I can reason with a mean person, there is just no reasoning with a drunk. And is this an example of SIWOTI? Can we all agree we will never, ever, ever agree? (Sorry Taylor). And ETA if I now dream of Jillzy in clown make up and wake up screaming, I'm coming for you guys. -
S10.E05: Game Changer
Chicklet replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
Would they have stopped filming if Vicky said stop? I honestly think these people in the production company are awful and wouldn't stop even if someone demanded. I think Vicky was so focused on the phone call she forgot they were there. -

Yea I was with Vicky, rolling around on Shannon's floor sobbing, until she whined "who will worry about me now". Uh ok Vicks. I mean the woman was 83, did Vicky have no idea that her mother was at that age when you start to think your parents might just die? And she is just not a pretty crier. Though not many are. -

After reading tons of interesting viewpoints here and watching the Duggar family spew their reasons for the coverup I get the idea that they aren't embarrassed, they aren't ashamed, they are irritated that their gravy train has been overturned. This is all insignificant crap that doesn't mean anything, "look over here at what we pretend to represent, heathens!" If I want hypocrisy I can look at a politician- a real one- to find it. I'm done with the Duggars even if I have to miss cute Izzy and spawn of Jessa. -
S10.E01: Under Construction
Chicklet replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
I'm going to be so depressed if I have to listen to Shannon whine about her husband's affair for a few months. Is that bad of me? I just don't really care, she was an angry cow to him last year. Vicki is being taken for a ride, as it would seem from the promo's. Do I really care? Not so much. Tamara is now going to psychically injure yet another generation of her family, that poor poor grand child. -
Batshit family dynamics brought to you by the batshit-iest leader. Men are to be obeyed, protected, guided, respected even when they don't deserve it and to the detriment of everyone involved, as we have seen played out with this little morality (or lack-therof) play. So women pay the price every time because they aren't valued at all, except for the uterus. The uterus they have no control over. This cult was made to order for people who aren't very bright. People who are afraid of learning because learning is hard evidently. Don't want the little ladies to use their brains so make up all these insane rules and the sheep will follow them. Oh yea and the men are afraid of the women, so make up rules to control them JUST in case one of the wimmen folk is very smart and figures out the deck is stacked against them and fights back. No insult intended to any actual sheep.
