Matt is 100% the kind of man who has hit a previous romantic partner. I really hope Colleen says no, and if she's dumb enough to say yes, that he says no.
-
Bartise is an ass. Nancy deserves better. She also looks a million times better without all that makeup. SK seems so grounded and reasonable. Raven is definitely not into him at all. Matt seems high AF all the time. Colleen seems very immature. Cole is annoying, but seems sincere. Zanab is putting those walls up, and self-sabotaging. Brennon is uptight AF. Alexa needs to run, from one sweary Israeli to another, there's no way in hell his family is OK with her being Jewish. She doesn't need to let her light be dimmed by some wonder bread flavored man.

Same, same, same. She must have been so massively repulsed by Kyle that she couldn't even wait another day to GTFO of there.

I cannot stand Shayne. His intensity is so off putting. I feel like Shake was genuinely excited about figuring things out in terms of his past behavior, and really connecting with someone on a non-superficial level. Kyle is a straight up idiot. She's not even just a spiritual person, or a reasonable Christian, she straight up said she doesn't believe in evolution. That is such a massive difference in core values.

Shake and Trisha deserve each other. I hope Natalie run far far away from that clown, and if Shaina has any sense, she will too. He was so aggressive and hostile, and the fact that he immediately went into dismiss and gaslight mode was a whole pile of red flags.

I'm 3 episodes in, and the rancher dude is making me gag. I don't know how he gets laid, because if he stinks with clothes on, there's no way he doesn't smell a million times worse when he drops those drawers. I also guarantee that his new house looked like a nasty ass mess less than a month after the show. Hygiene is clearly not any sort of priority for him.

Meghan McCain: "Both Sides" Wannabe Tough Chick
ElsbethTascioni replied to Jaded's topic in The View
I think another thing that's so telling, and this in the summary of the 2nd chapter of her "book" from MMitW, is that when the husband steps out to take a nap in the car, after she gives birth, and the nurses tell her that, she takes it to mean that he has literally left her. That marriage has got to be a hot fucking mess. -
I feel like they banged out this last story line as an afterthought. My 10 year old could come up with something more interesting, and less idiotic. I'm willing to tolerate garbage, because I like to be distracted while I'm on my stationary bike, but this was truly bad.

I suppose that the silver lining of this episode is that Cindy Crawford Jr. was hardly in it.
-
Her accent doesn't bother me at all. Maybe I'm looking at it as someone whose first language isn't English, and also surrounded by people whose first language isn't English, but have all lived for decades in the US. Sometimes our accents are stronger than other times. Sometimes we don't have an accent at all. Sometimes we can say an entire paragraph of words, and only one ends up with an accent, or only some end up without accents.

Amber wanting to have a baby when she's living in an apartment with roommates...I would kick her ass out. But I also don't blame her for not wanting anything to do with Jessica. I'm not surprised that Mark is a jerk. He was playing up his victim card really really hard, and was so creepy on the show. While he's not OK for lying to LC, I also think that there's blame to go around, because if I had asthma, I wouldn't be trusting anyone and risking getting COVID. I think Diamond came off desperate, but Rumeal was definitely only there to get some screen time for himself, and when that didn't happen he ran off. Kelly needs a deep conditioning treatment for that hair. I hope that the Gianina and Damien relationship is fake, because he's an emotionally constipated, maturity challenged, wall punching vibes giving, asshole.

OMG the black socks! He's the opposite of sexy.
-
That's a good point. If it's not a continuity mistake, I say he just lied about the conversation, because he felt like whenever he would get around to it, that's how it would go.
-
This. All day long. I was worried they'd go that route when she was calling him trying to talk, but then I convinced myself that they wouldn't go with such a tired story line.

I had a friend like that. She didn't want to admit to herself that she was the "bad guy", so she told herself that she cared about me, was my BFF, like a sister, etc. When it came to actually having my back, and being a good friend to me, she wasn't willing to inconvenience herself. I think it's part of the dynamic when you have someone who takes another person for granted. She sees herself as a gift to Issa, and when Issa wasn't doing well and was kissing her ass, she was willing to grace her with friendship. In her mind she probably doesn't even realize that she's being this way.
