  1. He looks like Marc Price from Family Ties to me.......
  2. At first I thought that it was dumb not to eliminate Tai while they had the chance- they still had the numbers to get rid of Jason and Julia, but now I think that Michelle is the wild card and could have sided with Julia in the future. With Julia gone Jason would have to flip 2 people to his side just get a 3-3 tie in any voting scenario. I don't think that he could pull that off.
  3. "Survival is lazy" is all that you need to know from those women. Shane put up with a lot of BS from those two and he deserves a break. I am sure that he is annoying, but he's also very earnest, and would work his butt off for the group.
  4. I just started watching this show this season - my husband has been on board since the pilot - I have to say that the cinematography is AMAZING! I too thought that Rollo had fallen to his death, and when Ragnar found Bjorn I thought that he was a gonner too. I actually gasped NOOOOOO! outloud.
  5. Super late to add a comment now, but I love this show too!!!!!!!!! I am already attached to all of the people. Any one know when the next season will start? Thanks!
  6. The first words out of my mouth were how in the heck did they did Ma Petite's body? NPH was perfect for this role! I really liked the episode a lot, and hope that we might get some Karmic satisfaction by the end edited to add: I don't think that the museum lady would just hand over the body since I'm sure that she paid a huge amount of money for it.
  7. I've been thinking that part of the problem with Sadie looking a bit gawky is because she is not getting the benefit of wearing a little higher heel. You definitely dance differently when you are more on your toe. She would totally tower over Mark though if she did.
  8. 1. Andrea- she just bugs too much 2. Patrick- Lizzie would turn the poor guy before a decision could be made. 3. Chef Mary of course. 4. Hard one..... I think Joe- he's so much sexier (in a scary way) 5. bicycle girl- she's the only one that has any chance of actually getting a bite.
  9. I DVR this show so that I can FF through all the stupid crap that I don't want to watch, so this morning I was drinking my coffee and watching the end- I said out loud bye bye Emily it was nice almost knowing you- when low and behold SHOCK! I yelled "WHAT! NO WAY! YAHOO!" My hubby was in the bathroom getting ready for work and he came out all What? What's going on? I said they finally sent that ding bat home! Needless to say he game me a WTF look and went back to getting dressed. I recognize that kind of passive aggressive craptastic attitude from a mile away. Didn't like her or her "designs" so had a marvelous start to my Friday.
  10. I thought that Sadie did a good job. I understand people not wanting to be hit over the head with religion- I don't either, but it is an integral part of her life- besides who knows what the PTB asked her. I think that some people are automatically comparing her to Bristol- but Bristol couldn't dance---- which sucks in a dance competition. I thought that Sadie went out and did a good first dance and looked like she was having fun.
  11. I HATED Tiffani during her season- but have to say really enjoyed her last night. I thought that the idea for the challenge was good- it's nice to see what seasoned chefs can do with restrictions on ingredients that they would normally use (meat in this case). Rob Zombie was a complete and total asshat to both of the chefs. I can't stand it when someone decides to restrict their own diet and then make nasty comments about chefs not cooking for them. If it's such a big problem asshole then open your own restaurant and serve only vegan food. Others have done it- quit tying to make others feel inferior for not having an extensive vegan menu!
  12. I didn't see the end so didn't know who went home, I went to the GSN skin wars website and they have Angela listed as eliminated, so I was surprised when I read here that she didn't go home. I went back to the site and scrolled down more and saw that Sean is also listed as eliminated------ I guess I'll have to watch the ending when I get home tonight :O(
  13. This whole season he has reminded me of a young better looking Adam Corolla - tall, thin, the same kind of hair and the crooked smile. Just me?
  14. Okay- I like that Sandhya is doing her own thing and being "true" to her POV- but I think it's largely crap. I haven't liked anything that she has sent down the runway yet. Amanda- Are you effing kidding me! It was stupid. I'm not a huge fan of fringe anyway- so this was just basic hippie wear that is hidden behind a bunch of hanging fabric strips. Loved Kini's and Fade's- both well thought out designs and fabric manipulation. Not sad that Hernan went home - white polyester not hard to mix with other fabrics and can you get a more neutral color?????? No you cannot! Mitchell's was too damned short and I didn't like it- it looked like a shower curtain with the plastic backing so that the water doesn't spray out of the tub. I do give him points though for trying to transform the fugly material that he got stuck with. I felt like Char was robbed on the first runway- so am wanting to love her stuff, but she just isn't producing that previous level of skill. Okay, I feel better now that I have gotten that off my chest.
  15. I know that I'm in the minority, but I like this show- yes- I do see and get what everyone is saying about the shortcomings, but I guess that I just don't mind as much. I like the Mason's and I love Weaver - I do agree that Anna is jumping on my last nerve! As a mother I can understand her need to "save her baby" even from herself- especially after losing her son - but damn girl how evil does Khalise light have to be to really see her. I have a feeling that Anna is going to try and save Lexi by herself since even Tom doesn't want to go rushing in- after all he has 3 spares. I just know that Tom and boys are going to have to rescue her from Lexi and that to me will be tiring.
  16. I had not heard of the books either. I only watched the pilot on demand yesterday because they were hyping it sooooo much on demand basic menu. I am so incredibly grateful that I did! Wow!! I loved the VO because it gave me a view of what Claire had gone through- where her head was at. I totally believe that she would barge in when she saw they were setting Jaime's arm wrong- no nurse would just sit by and watch something like that. I also loved the war scene where she was working on the guy with injured leg taking control of the situation and doing what needed to be done until the Dr. could get to that patient. The calm mental acuity of anyone working under that kind of stress day in and day out would be the only thing that saved a person's sanity. So- her calmly looking for a logical explanation as to where the car and the road went when she woke up makes since to me. Also, that she knew she was at the mercy of these men and stayed back and observed was smart. Love this!!!! Cannot wait for Saturday.
  17. As this season has progressed I told my husband that the only comedians that I would watch in a sitcom were Rod Man and Rocky Laport. Nikki would probably be okay in that venue but I don't think that I would watch for long. I don't think that Laughlan would be good as the main character, but probably pretty good in an ensemble cast. I'm afraid that Joe would turn into another Erckle. I couldn't handle that because he's way to smart to be made that one dimensional. "I'm not your Baby Alive baby daddy" still has me rolling and I could see a family show based around Rod Man.
  18. Ok- chiming in - As most have said Amanda win was absolute BS! I thought for sure that Char's team would take it. As for the Sandhya Boo-Hoo fest- again calling BS. Just because someone isn't agreeing with you- has another POV about how the "collection" should be approached does not mean that you are being picked on - from what we could see the Carrie and what's his name talked between themselves about Sandhya not listening- they didn't broadcast it to everyone. Not every idea is that best idea EVER! and simple communication would have solved the whole thing. I did like the skirt that Sandhya originally made better than the drek that all three of them sent down the final runway----- so who knows. In the past designers have stayed WAY past their pull date by defending their subpar and fugly work (Santino) but Carrie didn't do that she tried to stay by throwing shade at other designers. I don't know if I can take a whole season of this crap.
  19. I agree with helenamonster, I can't help but love Mr. Bates and Anna. I understand why other people don't care for the character, he can come off as an ass. I just think that he tries really hard to do the "right" thing, and sometimes you have to get your hands a little dirty getting there. I believe that he seen enough and been through enough injustices in life that he feels that sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.
  20. Love all things Rafe! MORE Dr. Yewell please! I am thrilled that this season is even better than last. I am having a bit of a hard time seeing Amanda as running the Need/Want, she just doesn't come across as Madam enough..... Her sister looked the part, Amanda not so much. I want another ass kicking for Datak (that never gets old for me).
  21. I really want to like the show, Love the premise, but the execution is just too stupid. I love shows and movies about people struggling to survive when the world gets flipped upside down---- but there needs to be some kind of intelligence happening. As others have stated above, this was a huge opportunity missed!
  22. I really hope that we don't lose this show. One of the things that I like best about it is that it takes place in small town America, with a beautiful rural setting. I love cop shows, but it's really refreshing to be in this environment as opposed to a big city. Plus I love Walt and Henry!!
  23. I love all things Lafayette! I especially love it when he's dancing around and just being silly! He has the biggest heart of all of the characters, and the most common sense.
  24. I like Bill - especially when he's not with Sookie. I really like that he was a good husband and father, and then devastated when he lost his ability to be with his family.
  25. Jason: Does she have like stockholder's syndrome?
