  1. LOVE THIS!! I find Dorinda shady as hell. I never got the love people seemed to have for her. I'm of the opinion that she is going after Carole because she wants to knock her out of the position of no. 1 Beth sycophant. If it gives her a little thrill to hit back after John was treated badly, all the better. She's one to watch. She'll stab you in the back and in the front.
  2. II'm also of the opinion that B's mother has a right to comment and give her side of things. She's been used as a storyline and now as a diversion for bad behavior so why shouldn't she comment? I'm sure she was no great prize, but neither is her daughter. They are now both grown women. If it bothers B that her mother comments on her antics, then she should stop talking about her publicly. She manages to keep her married boyfriend out of conversation. What I find really disturbing is she is not only using her mother but she is also using her very young child. I feel bad for that little girl.
  3. I like Lu and I'm sad that these witches can't let her enjoy her happiness. She seemed like she felt really lousy with that cold, but apparently if Beth has so much as a paper cut, no one else is allowed to be sick. She acted like illnesses are competition. I also see nothing pretentious about ordering in French while in a French restaurant. Had she spoken Spanish in a Spanish restaurant would there be such claims? Is it just speaking French that's pretentious or basically anything Lu does that is? She really can't win. I personally find it admirable that she speaks more than one language.
  4. Yes, I never really got the whole Dorinda love. They seem to walk on eggshells for her. She gets a pass on behavior that would be earth shaking and would demand never-ending apologies if Sonja or LuAnn did the same thing. I find Dorinda to be a classless, clueless, drunk and I don't find her intelligent or interesting, but I guess to each his/her own. Just think about it ---- if Tom acted the way John did toward Bethenny, there would be hell to pay!!
  5. I totally agree with this. I've found Mariah to be bratty at times, but in this case I think she is right. Sitting there while her mother gives these silly paintings out as if that makes everything okay must have been infuriating. Meri needs to OWN what she did and sincerely apologize. Some people feel Mariah has received an apology, but I don't. Until Meri admits that she was complicit in this and not a complete victim, I can't see why Mariah or anyone else in that matter would accept it and move on. She was a victim of this catfish and I would feel more sympathy if she would own up to her part in things and really apologize. I have to think Mariah must feel that way.
  6. I think the best thing on this episode was Terry's comment that sometimes the best procedure is the surgery you choose not to have. Too bad more people don't seriously consider that line of thought, but then I guess this show wouldn't exist and Terry wouldn't have a huge mansion! I don't always like him, but I respected him for making that comment.
  7. One of the things I think got lost in translation is that Luann felt protective/motherly about her niece. This is why she was so upset about Carole dating Adam. To her, it almost felt like Carole was dating a guy who was her daughter's former boyfriend. Add on the fact that the niece was hurt about it and the timeline seems messy as far as when he stopped dating one and started with the other. This is why, Luann lobbed some of the uglier insults at Carole. I don't agree with how either of them handled this, but it might give some insight on how she feels. At any rate, they're all big girls and it should be over. They should be gracious enough to let it go. Carole doesn't have to be Lu's bestie, but to refuse to toast with her was so immature. The whole thing with Tom is totally apples and spaceships to me. Also, I get really irritated when these women get their noses out of joint over not being asked for permission to date someone. Do Tom or Adam have any say it the matter?? I think the Adam matter would not have been such an issue if he had been dating Luann instead of her niece.
  8. I agree. Also, if it were true she cares so much about the kids, she's had years to show evidence of that caring, such as, adjusting her income to make room in the budget for the other children or NOT putting small children on the phone with strangers from the internet. All roads lead to Meri, whether it's using Sol to gain Kody's affection or insisting on upgrades to her home. At least Mariah seems to have grown up a little. I don't expect Meri to grow up at all.
  9. Just to clarify, the claim of Sol on the phone with batfish was made by batfish, so I'm not saying it's absolute truth. However, from what I've seen of Meri's epic lack of good judgement, I tend to lean toward believing it. I think it goes a long way to show how much damage this caused. I, like others, would be a lot more sympathetic if she would take at least some responsibility and be truthful. It's also strange that she wanted to take Sol to visit Mariah --- the two Brown children who (depending on whether you believe batfish) had some kind of contact with batfish. I agree, it is sad that Brianna was so easily offered up.
  10. I could be wrong, but on the subject of Meri's tantrum over Solomon. I couldn't believe her selfishness and lack of consideration of a small child. I could swear I read somewhere that during her "friendship" while the catfish was on the phone with her, she allowed Sol to speak to "batman." I can't remember where I read it, but it may have been a review of the "book." If this is true and I were Robyn and Kody, there is no way I would ever let her take my child out of my sight and is sheds some possible light on the quick NO. I tend to think the only reason the other little girl (Brianna?) was allowed to go might have been the presence of cameras. I don't like any of them much, but I think Meri is an awful person who always wants her way. She chose the lifestyle and chose to act irresponsibly. I hate that she makes me take Kody's side.
  11. I know some people don't like to hear about bat idiot's antics, but I couldn't resist checking once in a while. I saw that another book is coming out. It's unbelievable to me that no one is stopping this fool. I actually feel bad for Kody, which is something I would have never thought possible. What more could there possibly be to say, especially since the first "book" was so lame. The title is incredibly stupid, too. And yes, I am judging a book by it's cover (and name).
  12. I find it despicable that Erika wears real fur and seems to see no problem with it. I guess that fits with her narcissism. I also have to wonder if one of Tom's reasons for not allowing her to purchase jewelry is a way to ensure that some other man can't buy her gifts on the sly. Is he concerned about her faithfulness? It just screams controlling to me.
