  1. Just rewatched "cool-hand Dave" and I swear in some shots it looks like he came straight from the set of Die Hard and didn't bother washing that makeup off.
  2. And Morgan basically did a proto-Holdo Maneuver.
  3. Interesting to see this episode tying into the sequel trilogy. Great casting with Brian Gleeson as Brendol Hux, who is the father of General Hux, though I wish they would have found a way to get Brendan Gleeson instead. Also using the music cue from the throne room sceen in Last Jedi when the Praetorian Guard showed up.
  4. This post reminded me of the movie Strange Brew. Brewmeister Smith taunts Pam "Unfortunately, We find the mail system unreliable here, so we use private couriers!"
  5. This is also the same universe that had characters named Yak Face and Hammerhead. Solo had a background lobster-looking character named Therm Scissorpunch. The Mandalorian gave us Frog Lady and had an ant looking character named Dr. Mandible. Quadpaw fits in nicely!
  6. Not knowing the full story at first I thought it was some kind of MK/Ultra type of training he was receiving, but then I remembered some conversations I had with a friend from high school that also trained as a medic in the army, since drug abuse was so prevalent, they had to learn about everything and their affects, and how to counteract them, but also what sedatives would be needed for various types of situations.
  7. The NK astronaut was CS Lee, AKA Masuka from Dexter!
  8. I absolutely loved the details in this episode. During the scene where Kim drove to work, it looks like they actually filmed in Port Canaveral, Florida. The Exploration Tower can be seen to the left as she drives past. While I don't work in sprinklers, I do work in an adjacent industry and can say that they nailed every detail of what it would look like in one of those offices. My one complaint is that they called it "Palm Coast Sprinkler" when everything in Titusville would most likely be named "Space Coast".
  9. I don't know if I'm misremembering it, but I could swear there was a shot of 'Gene' in the last episode going up the escalator, and there was a sign by the Cinnabon advertising a "Twist". If so, then I'm expecting something big in the next few episodes. Personally, I would like to see more of Gus' background. Breaking Bad never fully expanded on who he really was. Eladio said he knew who Gus "really is" and Hector called him "Generalissimo". Hank struck a chord with Gus questioning his background. There were a number of US, British, and West German companies that made a lot of money off of the Pinochet regime. Did Gus connect with Schuller and Madrigal through this?
  10. I seem to remember on TWOP when someone posted hyper detailed episode "spoilers" for the last batch of Breaking Bad episodes, all of which were completely incorrect.
  11. Given that the timeframe of the current episodes of Season 4 are mid/late-March 1986, they're only a few weeks away from Chernobyl happening. I have to wonder if that will somehow be incorporated during the Part 2 of the season.
  12. I had a friend in jr high and high school that had the bowl cut until we graduated high school in 1994. He was somewhat mocked for it, because his hair seemed stuck in 1979, I always thought it was because they didn't have any money. That's kind of the Byers family vibe I get.
