  1. "I can have anything I want out of here?" That almost sounded genuine. I'm so used to everything being staged...
  2. If my dearly deceased grandma was still alive she'd say that Jeff sounds like he's talking through a mouthful of shit.
  3. Okay, Jeff is crazy looking. He *almost* makes Tony look dapper.
  4. Watched the whole episode. If you think last week's was bad then hold onto your hat because, in the words of Mother Chantel, things are about to get a lot stupider... Juliana gives me the creeps. She comes across as a predator to me. Natalie's better off staying there with Mike. I think Lo left the room because he didn't want to be a part of filming that shit. I think some of it was staged, but I don't think Tammy was in on the planning. IDGAF about Family Libby or Brandon/Julia. Tiffany loves playing martyr. "I was a blessing in this man's life." Girl, sit your ass back down. Michael must be masochistic. How else was he able to orgasm while listening to Angela cackle and scream? If I'm rating them on masturbation and ejaculation scenes then I guess I prefer Michael's over Ed's.
  5. You're right. And Natalie wasn't allowed to work at the time. Being the primary earner does not give someone carte blanch on how they treat their partner. It should not be used to justify poor behavior. I am the primary earner in my household but I don't hold the fact that I provide shelter or food on the table over my husband's head. I've literally never even thought of that. His earnings may not be as much, but there are other ways to contribute to the household and we're on equal footing. Bottom line is that Mike did not seem to want to marry Natalie. Whether it's because she's nuttier than squirrel shit or he no longer loved her is irrelevant. It should never have gone this far.
  6. @Pepper Mostly has already written a pretty good post going over this upthread... Bottom line for me is that it was clear he never wanted her to come here. He should've broken up with her before she bought the plane ticket. Maybe then they BOTH could've been with people they actually liked. ** note: he was upset because she slept with him and then left 2 days later, but he also slept with her 2 days before the wedding and then called off the wedding the next day. Where TF was she supposed to go? Her country was literally on lockdown and wasn't letting people back in yet.
  7. We'll never totally agree with each other but, personally, it's about what I felt when watching that scene: with Natalie I feel total frustration and irritation, with Mike I feel uncomfortable and queasy. We bring our past experiences with us when we watch this so it CAN be a little subjective, of course, but right or wrong, I'm reminded of my extremely abusive ex so no matter whose "fault" it is, it's just not an enjoyable viewing experience for me.
  8. The big thing is that she hasn't moved to India, not legally. She has to leave every 6 months and renew the visa. As long as he doesn't marry her then she can't live there. I don't think he WILL marry her. I think he enjoyed the distance romance, and the fantasy, but reality is different. I bet his parents were financially supporting him before Jenny came over. Now he has to actually grow up.
  9. Anyone else feeling nostalgic for the the time in which the craziest thing about their relationship was his aliens?
  10. And I'll never understand how people take anonymous forums so seriously and how Family Libby can continue pretending to be high class when they're spreading their butt cheeks on Only Fans and throwing cake at a toddler's birthday party, yet here we are... I mean, it's just a bunch of chickens checking out a pussy cat... Thanks. Coming up on the anniversary. It makes me angsty.
  11. Am I the only one who wanted to see an itemized list of these lovely gifts?
  12. Agree. Even when Yara was being "lazy" Gwen was still smiling and laughing. I think that was half fake/half banter. It's like when my husband does something really stupid and my mom tells him, "Really? In a land of Colin Firth and Joseph Fiennes my daughter had to come home with YOU?" And my husband replies, "Yeah, she got tired of picking up men from your family reunions." (I'm a hillbilly.) In reality they love each other and she'd fight tooth and nail for him-and has.
  13. Saw this and was reminded of how far (and low) Family Libby will go for attention. Fighting every. Single. Episode.
  14. Yeah, he was all about "bougie this" and bougie that.
  15. Gwen's Insta post about Yara: https://www.instagram.com/p/CRfROkcLQof/?utm_medium=copy_link
  16. That rooftop with the tiny bar literally looked like the roof of my college dorm when we set up a Tiki bar during finals week. They live outside of New Orleans! There are some beautiful hotels there. Why did it have to be Miami? Gwen lives 2+ hours away, but I bet she'd come down and spend the night, even if she knew they were just going there for couples time.
  17. If it were reversed then it would be an entirely different story. What if, after telling him "no", Libby had come home to find a stranger that Andrei had hired watching Ellie? THEN the family would be been all "he doesn't respect you", "you need to leave him", "how DARE him make that decision without you". Last episode but I hated how they were like "she's a mother so she has better instincts." Bullshit. First of all, mothers get arrested every day for abuse and neglect. Second, that's really disrespectful to Andrei who stayed home with Ellie for the first year. THIS is where I side eye their antics. I believe most of it is staged. I think they started out okay, but then had a real fight and saw how much attention it got them. Still, who TF goes on national television and even pretends to act like this? They're awful people either way.
  18. I didn't leave my first son with anyone until he was a year old. I eased up with my second son and left him with someone totally trustworthy and he died while I napped. A lot of first time moms do this. And Yara has extenuating circumstances: she's in a foreign country without any friends or family of her own, Gwen is 2 hours away, she goes without seeing her husband (her main support system) for months at a time, and she went through both her pregnancy and her baby's first year during a global pandemic. Opportunities that expats and new mothers often have available for socializing and supporting one another offline were not options for her. I have some real issues with Yara, but this is something I actually understand. Despite the paranoia and clinginess I had with my first son and later my daughter they are now a regular teen and pre-teen who have good friends, good grades, and appropriate levels of independence. Now, if Yara continues this throughout Myla (Vox)'s toddlerhood then they might really be in for some trouble...
  19. I fricking hate Mike. I think he's a gaslighting creep and his mother is awful. That should not be taken as a defense against Natalie, though. I can say things about Mike while still getting fed up with Natalie. I can dislike them both for different reasons. I actually don't agree that the producers would've shown it by now if Trish had called her a hooker. They're getting FAR more mileage out of it this way. It's also a way of driving viewers to the Tell All. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I don't think she did, I'm just saying that leaving us to argue and speculate for weeks benefits the show.
  20. Agree with all of this. There's a picture of me and my ex that I can't look at. My mouth is smiling, but my eyes have that same embarassed/panicky/sad/defeated look in them.
  21. *eyeroll* Family Brandon and Brandon crying and carrying on like he's an 18yo going off to college for the first time and not the 30yo he is. *snort* Julia wanting to lock the door. Libby got in the best line of the episode: You don't scream like that with cake! It might just replace the timeless "don't swindle me just because I like cake".
  22. Rewatched Yara and Jovi in Miami...My husband came in and goes, "What the fuck is his problem? The short dress, alcohol, and sex is for HIM. If he really wanted to do something to make his wife relax then make her a bubble bath and let her sleep for 2 days straight." He should've sat down and watched 2 seasons of "Unexpected" before shirking the condom. Yara will never be the woman he dated again, but he's still the same man.
  23. Not in my experience but YVMV. Maybe in My early 20s. My mother-in-law was a big wine drinker and seemed to always have a glass in her hand. My father-in-law is a functioning alcoholic, though, so... I can't watch Mike and Natalie. Natalie's crazy, but Mike is mean.
  24. Jovi: If we don't go somewhere on TLC's dime and do something interesting then they won't ask us back! We need a break to get away from this life! Jovi, YOU don't even live "this life". Your baby is 6 months old, and you've only been there for 2 of them...Not to mention the fact that this was filmed before the COVID vaccinations were widely available. I'm on Yara's side. I didn't leave my first child with anyone until he was a year old. He went everywhere with me. Now, my 2nd and 3rd were another story...By then I was ready to hand them off to servers, doormen, valets...
