I find it really interesting that the 'grifter claimed to be a Pediatric Surgeon when she met Kate on the train. She said that someone had stolen her purse and that she needed a place to stay. I would think that if a effin Doctor lost her purse, wouldn't the doctor just go to the nearest branch of her bank and get a new bankcard so that she could get a hotel room. Wouldn't you ask yourself why a dr would need to stay with a strangers family ? Did Kate's mother & father ask any questions ? I truly don't understand this part. Why didn't Kate question Heather Kamp about this ? Was it left out of the Dateline story ?

This is so true. I wonder why the cops & prosecutor made a big deal about the blinds being closed. Why didn't they 'free their minds to consider that maybe the blinds were reopened by CSI investigators for better lighting while taking pictures.

How does he explain the blinds in that bathroom being closed before he went in there ? The cops took a picture of the blinds being closed *before* the house was released to the family. Richard said he closed the blinds so that Bambi couldn't see in. I'm glad they finally found the real killer but I wanted to know about the blinds. lol

He constantly called her, and followed her everywhere she went. When she was at her Aunt's house, she said that since the family was so big, and everyone came over there, they would just leave the screen door unlocked. WHAT?! You have a psych maniac stalking your ever move yet you feel comfortable sitting a house with the doors unlocked ? I know it's suppose to be a true crime story but I wonder if the producers take a 'creative license' to make the stories more interesting ?
