To quote Dick Ritchie in True Romance (the actor is now a Real Housewives Super Fan), this guy hasn't 'got a pot to piss in, or a window to throw it out'. So, where IS the money coming from?! Someone broke it down as cost of the visa for Olga starting at $500+ for the initial application. Flight to Russia to be with her as the baby is born (plus accom, food), passport to go to Russia for him and presumably visa also. The rest of the cost of HER visa, plus passport and visa for baby. Flights for all of them back to the States. THEEENN, where are they going to live? Different couches from his many crashpads? Baby requirements. A car? Where is the money coming from ? Did his Dad leave him a trust fund? Is it his Deadhead grands? I'd get that, as they seem lovely people who come minus the wool over their eyes concerning Later Skater grandson. Also, there was evidence of kids stuff around their house, so maybe they are looking out for their grandchild? Still. It's a lot and I hope that any money they are extending for this campaign comes with strings.

Personally, now that I tune into VPR (and i never used to), I see enough of Lisa and her lavish life there. I wouldn't want her off my tv for good, like Dorit, but I don't think she's been happy on RH for the last few seasons. For whatever reason. She definitely brings the lifestyle, which is great, because a lot of the other franchises have been dropping the ball on that one (Robyn Dixon, Gina o the OC even). But LVP just hasn't looked invested in any of the friendships on BH. Not even with Kyle. She kind of tried to make Teddi her friend, but it just felt like an aquaintance like relationship which was show based. I doubt they're catching up for coffee at LVP's home.

No they didn't, lord, this is the 2nd time today that my 'fanfictionizing' with reality casts has caused confusion! Sorry: When things get boring, i make SLs and backstories to keep myself amused. The Westcotts, i decided, are in such dire need of 'new blood' (exhibits: Courtt and Jimmy Westcott) for the family firm, that they send squads of discreet recruiters to the better ladies colleges in search of specific genetic traits to balance the deficits in the current bloodstock. Hence, Kameron at her southern Californian sorority, with her height and her aryan features and her natural sense of superiority was the latest recruit (possibly 2nd latest, as Courtt has a brother who's name also begins with 'C') to the Westcott Family LLC etc etc. Kameron will join the panel for the selection of future Westcott stock when Jimmy either explodes or melts a la Vicki Gunvalson during the next extreme weather event.

Since I wrote that, i've learned that Kalani is PISSED with the 90DF producers. She is saying that she was set up at the airport, that the producers had asked Asuelu to do the dance for her and he'd forgotten or was told not to tell her by the producers. She'd spoken with Asuelu the night before he arrived and had no idea this was coming. The look on her face, she is saying, is fury at the producers. Not at Asuelu. Furthermore, she is saying that her Dad has got a terrible edit to make him look racist and self hating. She is threatening to pull out, or was. This is all news to me, as I'm only watching 90DF for the first time this season, as it's been recommended by a lot of podcasters and recappers I like. She is using words like 'white washing' and 'racist'. She has apparently been warned by the producers about speaking out like this. Not sure what they can do to her at this point, maybe they hold part of her payment until the season airs, I don't know. That tantrum she threw last episode just fizzled out, didn't it? She did lose the accent a bit while she was angry, but it isn't enough. I still believe that Kam had a speech impediment as a child and this is why she speaks with this deliberate enunciation and slowly. I'm sorry. It's all I have for Kam! There really isn't a lot to work with. Oh! The Westcott family scouts interviewing her for an undisclosed position within the Westcott family? I have run that scene in my head too. I wonder how many contenders they sieved through to be Court's wife, because what a dude!

I conmented on this last episode. Here's what happened. Ultimately, Momma Dee is D'Andra's mother. She 'loves' LeeAnne, but D'andra is her daughter. I think that Dee decided to find out for herself if all this stuff D'Andra was angsting about with her friendship with LeeAnne was serious. Because she did NOT automatically believe D'andra or take her side. As SOON as LeeAnne went in close on the couch with the drinking 'concerns' she had for her best friend D'andra, it was all Momma Dee needed. There's been alcoholism in the illustrious Simmons family. LeeAnne definitely called D'andra an alcoholic, she used the word, on the show. This is too much for Dee as it's too damaging for D'andra and the company. I think LeeAnne knew she'd overplayed her hand because in her TH after the couch chat with Dee, she said 'Family is blood. And I'm water'. Meanwhile, the 'matriarch' of Dallas society, Jimmy Westcott (watch Dee's face and words when D'andra tells her this!) and Kam are also riding D'andra about her being 'talked about' for the company she's keeping. So Momma Bear Dee is now furious and incensed on behalf of her cub. She sees Brandi at the party where she's come loaded for bear and ready to tear LeeAnne a new one. Fortunately for LeeAnne, Cary's arrival interrupts Dee's warning. When Dee sees Brandi, she explains that LeeAnne is also calling Brandi an 'alcoholic'. Close enough to what LeeAnne and Kam etc have been saying. I don't think Brandi was 'using' LeeAnne, except as someone to befriend and get to know while she filled the void that Stephanie left. Once Stephanie and her began to thaw, LeeAnne was already deep in her feelings about how it was inevitable that she'd be the third wheel AGAIN. She even said something like 'and poor LeeAnne is left on her own as always'. This was before anything happened, and Brandi was still defending her friendship with LeeAnne and seeing her. Then we had all the 'they're just hands' weirdness and the threats of violence. Brandi dropped LeeAnne when she was told by Cary, I think, that LeeAnne was warning people away from her. LeeAnne goes for the jugular when she feels abandoned and this is what happened with Brandi. LeeAnne is damaged and it's just too much for a lot of people. I love Brandi, but provoking LeeAnne makes her look bad, as LeeAnne IS so obviously hurt and needy. I think it's a perfect storm at the moment, because Brandi is not herself with the new baby and whatever else is going on behind the scenes (like where did the baby come from ? Is he the fruit of Bryan's loins? or Travis?). I think Brandi's judgement is impaired this season, something is off. Stephanie is not going to last with LeeAnne either as she can't handle aggression and nastiness. Brandi's hot button is class. LeeAnne warning people away from her because Brandi is low class is always going to get a huge rise from Brandi. I wish she'd look at where this is coming from (loopy LeeAnne, with her own background) and just ignore it. But then, we wouldn't have a show!

Why is Jessica's aunt or older sister giving MJ a plasma facial? I'm stunned how much this woman from certain angles, looks exactly like Jessica. If these images occurred during an episode back when Mike and Jessica were together, you wouldn't look twice. I'm amazed. I'm also suspicious. Because this therapist also didn't appear to be Persian. MJ is messy AF. Cos all I'm thinking about is wedding/Jessica. Mike. I'm not even through this episode, but the restaurant was called 'Petite Berries' or something, which i interpreted as 'Little Balls' because Mike. Who slouches in out of his ridiculous lego mobile in a beanie, using that obnoxious condescending and somewhat threatening voice as he moves over the threshold 'I've heard GOOD THINGS about this place'. Oh wow, really? You did? What a tool. And then he orders a club sandwich with fries and the everpresent ceviche for Mom. In sea bass flavour. We don't have sea bass here, but it is the fish I hear the most about on Bravo. Is it what goes into nuggets? Because it's usually RHs ordering it, and they all have palates like Kendra Wilkinson Baskett.

Lube. She would have needed it with Bad Breath Detection Boy. Would have explained the 'juiciness' Caroline kept referring to also.

Best thing she could have done at this stage. I wasn't following her, but I've heard all about it. It's never a good look and one thing Caroline has is (probably a little TOO much) insight into herself. There's just no percentage in going after Kate on SM, and she did. But going after Cpt Lee? Did she not watch the whole series? Was she not aware of the Rocky situation? Looks like it's too late to save herself. But I get it. I think she was treated really badly by Kate who knew EXACTLY how this would end but continued with the dynamic with Josiah anyway, making excuses for the behaviour. Like the 'everyone talks about other people. You don't CONFRONT them about it'. Actually Kate, yes you do. If you have an interest like you say you do in the marginalised and different, you must be aware of the effects of bullying in the workforce. Kate was being an asshole.

One podcaster said Colt's 'coding' was rubbish, another said that he was definitely 'coding'. Not sure what to think. Is Colt holding towers of Bitcoin that Larissa is unaware of? Where did they stay when he met her and visited her? She should have some idea of his parsimony by now. She obviously has an opinion on his looks, I still don't get how he looks kinda hot in some of the vacay snaps compared to the now. He COULD look good with a lifestyle change. I have no idea what the cost of living in Las Vegas is, but it seems from what I do know, that if you live there you 1. Need an a/c house and 2. you absolutely need a comfortable (definitely a/c) car to get anywhere. Is Colt supporting Mother? I was going to say that Colt vacationing in Brazil doesn't seem like the kind of expenditure he could rationalise, then I realised that he met her on the internet. I doubt Colt sees the point in vacations and I can hear 'we live in Las Vegas!!' in response to Larissa wanting to go anywhere. Yes, I'm in Australia and PM me. I'm as sad or sadder than you! I'm watching for the first time because this season of 90DF has been recommended REALLY strongly by a couple of podcasters I listen to, one of whom has been watching since season 1. I'm a newbie, but I'm already totally invested.

There is a large Samoan community in Australia, a large Polynesian community overall in fact (this includes Maori from New Zealand). The Samoan people I've known through teaching pronounce it SAH moh a, it does sound a bit like Samwa. It has to be a massive culture shock for Asuelo. The hardest thing for Asuealo would be the lack of welcome from the family, don't underestimate that. And Kalani's Dad would have understood that PERFECTLY. (Samoa is almost 6k kms from Australia, it's north east from us). I am willing to bet that if Kalani and Oliver came to Samoa to visit Asuelo's family, the whole extended family would be waiting for them at the airport and there would be a huge gathering to welcome them. The lack of community may do Asuelo in. The Samoan families I've encountered here are close knit with strong family values. Obviously, you can't make sweeping generalisations about anyone, but the difference in pace of life and value systems between America and Samoa is massive and I fear for Asuelo as isolation is a killer. Kalani's Dad is coming off as an asshole, but I think also he of all people is aware of just how intense the cultural differences are between the 2 countries. Regarding Eric and Leida: I was SURE and i watched it twice that he said 'she has 3 daughters' about Leida. I was wondering then why we are only seeing 1 son. Maybe he meant that her parents had 3 daughters. Leida is behaving like Imelda Marcos at present and it isn't a good look. (Imelda was the shoe collecting wife of the Filipino dictator). I'm also wondering where Leida got those degrees, as we have a lot of students from nearby Asian countries in Australia. I am also thinking that there is something defective going on with Leida. Someone upthread said that Colt wouldn't be getting a more appropriate car (or just A car) because this one is still working (A/C less, dents and all). One day, it's going to be 'I didn't want the expense of burying Mother, she's not off yet and she still talks to me'.

I just clicked the link in the Vulture recap on the background to 'how did the cow eat the cabbage' (the phrase that popped out of Momma Dee's mouth, but she didn't explain). Apparently, it's a 'southernism' and it's based on the story of a woman that calls the police because an elephant had escaped and was picking cabbages out of her cabbage patch with its trunk and eating them. She told the cops that a cow was in her garden eating cabbages with its tail. Ok. They then explain that this means telling someone something that they don't want to hear or to get down to 'brass tacks'. I'm still struggling with all of this, however. Wow, watching Momma Dee get cut by the arrival of Carey (?) just as she was about to send the first missile over LeeAnne's bow, was hilarious. She was boiling! LeeAnne's weirdly dressed wedding planner then became the receptacle of whatever misdirected venom she was steaming. I bet he tells LeeAnne every little thing she continued to say.

Travis: way to revert to type after that short campaign to convince us there was a decent human in there, when Brandi and he chose the ring, planned the party and Travis held Bruin. I predicted Mama Dee was going to go all 'poked the Momma Bear' on LeeAnne and Kameron last episode. That woman is real stealth. She opened LeeAnne up like a bag of chips and is going to tear her throat out over the 'D'andra is an alcoholic' rumours. I wouldn't want to be LeeAnne. Stephanie 'really appreciating' that Travis has stuck by her and telling us that she's done NOTHING to deserve any of this good stuff and doesn't DESERVE it... she's fragile. Too fragile for this show and possibly for life. I loved her in the preview for next week saying 'I need a shot of Tequila. And a hug'. I hope she works some of her magic on LeeAnne in the short time they'll be friends. As for Stephanie saying Travis threw this thing together in a week and has no interest in it or parties? Isn't this the same Travis who, Stephanie told us in Season 1, demanded a HUGE celebration for EVERY ONE of his birthdays? And Stephanie actually jumped out of a cake? Travis with the lists for his wife? MMMM- Hmmmm... there's been speculation. Also the fan fiction rumour that maybe Travis is actually Bruin's father. Or Bryan. Brandi also knew Travis before she knew Stephanie, so.....

I strongly suspect that Colt is on the spectrum, if only mildly. He's not going to get why Larissa needs shows of emotion unless she explains clearly to him. Flowers at the airport for welcoming her to her new life wasn't unreasonable. Changing her ticket when she hadn't received an already delayed visa? He did the right thing, he just didn't explain it in a language she could understand. and that has nothing to do with the 'language barrier'. I'm totally new to 90 Day Fiance. I think it's going to get a lot of new viewers this season, as it's being pumped and promoted by podcasters and fans of the shows I usually watch. So this might be a really basic question: WHY does Colt actually look kind of hot and handsome in the photos with Larissa from the time they spent together before she came to the country, but in person, he looks like an egg? Is it filters?

I was going to say i bet he absolutely DID notice, are you saying that he hadn't until he saw the show and this is his response on Twitter? I guess he has to sleep sometime and one of the 2 - 4 faceless men (including, I presume, a First Mate) must take the bow for him? But I doubt he missed knowing about it at the time. The guests wanted to go at 6.30 in the morning, which I imagine probably IS Cpt Lee's slow time because they'd usually be sleeping. I wonder if the preview for next week, where ALL the deck crew are on the Tender and not 'one swinging dick' is actually on deck (Cpt Lee's words), is this fishing trip. It's crazy Chandler isn't allowing Rhylee to shine at this one thing. But these charter guests, new to us which is a relief from all the return fame whores, do seem heavily influenced by production. I'm finding the naked ordering of smoothies and the 'omg! why are you here while we are obviously boning' response to the smoothies, plus the used condom and the total immersion in their phones and the 6.30am fishing trip (do these guests seem like they want fishing at the crack of dawn??) somewhat suspicious. I smell production influencing newbie fame whores. Below Deck should win some awards for their camera work. There have been some stunning overhead shots of the yacht, the guests on jet skis and even that underwater shot of the anchor hitting the ocean floor. It's become quite an artform and I hope they continue to elevate it. Nothing like snark and idiocy in the most visually stunning surroundings. Don't know exactly when he found out night he called Chandler out on Twitter tonight. "Yeah, no point Chandler in using the best talent for the job. Not to mention you let your personal feeling affect the whole deck crew. Wow." despite the fact that I think production may have influenced this, or at least encouraged it, I have to give them props for flashing to the primary's smug self involved face and staying there everytime the condom was mentioned. One of those douches should go overboard into a stingray snapchatting, that'd be nice.

Definitely seeing the dynamic shift with the deck crew and it's looking like Chandler could be the one given his ticket home. When he suggested to Ashton and Ross that they have a break in the Crew Mess, and started sniggering about Rhylee still being out working? Ross and Ashton did the right thing for the first time and left Chandler kicking back to help Rhylee. At least they are responding, if not to Rhylee's unfair treatment, but to the fact that there is something inherently destructive about Chandler's 'management style'. Ashton nailed it when they had the crew meeting Chandler didn't want to have, when he said he came out of it knowing nothing about their schedule for the day. i hope Rhylee is keeping a record of her breaks and sleep times, because it sounds like 'i don't believe in hierarchy/chain of command' Chandler is either deliberately ensuring his crew don't get enough rest or he just sucks. I think he just sucks. And he's got a noticeable vendetta on Rhylee. Not cool.

What is Cpt Lee listening to on his headphones?!! I have to know. I probably don't want to know. I've never seen Cpt Lee take a break like that. He'll be sorry, there's bound to be some weapon grade pooch screwing goes on while he has a minute. GAHD DAM MIT!

There have been lots of comments on this season's Below Deck about the state of Kate and Caroline's hair. We are seeing the same thing in Jamaica with these women. It can't be understated what a toll really high humidity takes on women going into menopause and anyone that has to maintain a 'professional' well manicured appearance. It's hideous. Everything sticks to you, you are sweating from every crack and crevice plus your head (unless, like Vicki, you've had so much botox and fillers that sweat no longer cools your skin) and there is NO WAY your hair is going to behave as it does at home. This is all fine if you are REALLY going on vacation and can just slap a hat and a coverup on. But these women have their images blasted all over the world to a highly refined and critical audience (us!), so I get the stress levels and the insanity that follows. The original Tres Amigas all complained about it last episode. It's crazy making. And I absolutely believe that this was engineered by production. Any woman my age that I know would have turned on her heel in these conditions. Try that with the NYC or BH hos, production, see what happens...

Kelly's has learned to go with the drama. From what I can work out, they were given the option of another villa with A/C. Shannon found her own villa, so my guess was that Kelly inserted herself as the new Tres Amiga. I don't even recall if Emily and Gina moved also? Having a ways to go until menopause, they may have been able to cope with the heat and humidity with just ceiling fans. I'm with Shannon on this one. After a couple of days in those conditions, in that company and with hormone levels plummeting, I'd be in a cool dark room alone with a large vodka too. Just 'come and get me for dinner'!

Their menu choices are so SAFE!!! How many times have I heard 'I'll have the filet mignon' on these incredible overseas trips. I hope they all continue to ingest shots of salad dressing because they are just. so. ignorant. I'm going to continue to be an apologist for Shannon Beador. The cast have piled on her since episode one of this season. Shannon carried the load of the whole 'Emily's husband is abusive' SL at the beginning and we all know that Shannon is paranoid enough to continue to flip out at the INJUSTICE of it all. And now we are going to have the continued interrogation of the 'who said Shannon needs to be on medication' SL. Shannon has been mercilessly gaslit by douchey David her whole marriage, so she's such an easy rise for these harridans. Plus menopause and shady producers ensuring there is no AIR in the tropics for at least 3 menopausal women. That guaranteed drama for a season that has been really limp. I warmed to Emily over her gaping 'Mother Wound'. Poor thing. Plus she really seemed to relax and enjoy Jamaica. It's a shame the whole trip WAS consumed by Shannon's neuroses. On the whole though, the real victim was Jamaica. This trip didn't showcase what I'm sure is a beautiful country at all. The high end resort had no air conditioning, the river was far from it's best, the falls looked beautiful but somewhat precarious and the beaches were so crowded. These hags need to be on the Jamaican watchlist and denied at any point of entry in perpetuity.

No, that was me. Kyle is an EP on BH, or used to be, unless i'm losing my mind. She's co exec producer for American Woman. another thing that was said about Kyle was that 'Kyle by Alene Too' is um, relocating. The podcast host immediately honed in on that, and although he didn't come out and say it, it sounds like a 'downsizing' or 'relocating to a lower rent area'. Definitely not a move up, in other words. But I doubt co owning a boutique is cutting it for Kyle now that she's broken into television off her own back. Good on her.

Stephanie and Travis are planning a vow renewal. He spent 44k on a ring Brandi helped choose. I think that was for the vow renewal, it might have just been a consolation for him going away to Harvard for 6 weeks and leaving her alone. But there's definitely a vow renewal being spoken of. I worry for Stephanie!

And now there are rumours that BH is being postponed! This on top of the fact that Bravo is apparently hanging on also to a full season of Don't Be Tardy and not airing it either. Sounds a lot like there are some big changes happening within Bravo.
