I like the pace too. It looked like the guard to me. So Jessie has an idea of what happened in juvie but doesn't have the details?

S04.E15: When There's A Fire In Your Heart

I hope we get an answer to the question about Cash and the reason she is so passionate about Maddie's career. I do also want to see Juliette and Maddie scenes. She does seem to take her advice and Juliette would know best about being 16 in the music business and how hard it is. -

It seems there is not much discipline that Maddie responds to. She gets grounded for a day and gets to go to a concert. She gets her phone taken away, she uses Daphne's and is pretty much a terror about it, no consequences. Rayna/Teddy mostly and now Deacon (for the last 2 years) are responsible for Maddie being the wonder that she is. Clearly something is not working. I think the best person she needs to talk to is Juliette. She actually was in the industry practically on her own at 14/15 with Glenn and she can tell some stories. That is what Maddie needs to hear. Rayna is her mother and she obviously does not want to listen to her. She admires Juliette and might actually take into consideration what she says because her actions and things that have happened to her have affected her life. Looks like that might happen with Rayna next week but who knows. On another note glad that Avery and Juliette can be civil with each other right now. They are still too cute and I want them to find their way back to each other. -
So all of that and Carlos still isn't dead? Lame. What exactly does Morgan think Kiki needs help with? And bitching about all she has is Ava. Um terrible person that she is, Ava is her MOTHER. You are her lying, cheating ex who slept with her mother/aunt. You aren't a much better choice. I get so sad for Michael the peacekeeper. They have find something else for him to do. I don't even like Kiki all that much but I am joining the chorus of liking her and Dillon's scenes. He needed to get out of Lulu's orbit.

Love seeing Juliette apologize to Glen. She really is trying to be better. Even apologized to Emily, which I do believe rarely happened in the past. While I do like seeing Mature Juliette, I think I might enjoy seeing her in the preview ranting about Avery and Layla. Haha. Aww Kevin and Will. So glad to see Will getting good things right now. So Autumn is about to seduce Gunnar. Of course she is. Cash didn't creep me out until the post club fight with Deacon. Are we ever going to find out why this 20 something year old is so invested in a teenager? Maddie being blackmailed by Daphne made me chuckle . Rayna saying "things have calmed down at home." Is she there? Maddie not being a brat for 3 days doesn't equal calm. Also judging by Daphne's fit with Deacon things are not all well on the homefront. -
That scene was so quick and dark it was hard to tell what was going on. I imagine we will get more details on what happened there in the next episode. It seems that Jackson killed some man and buried him and Jessie was a witness. From their conversation after that is when he left for Houston?

Current Plots Discussion: Actually Today's Episode

Another coverup! Is there going to be anyone in Salem left who hasn't committed a crime or helped with one in 6 months? So everyone else thought they missed an episode like me? Chad asking about the square had me going, "what happened there?" Hey editors if you are going to be cutting scenes, make sure a character isn't asking about one of those cut scenes! Considering mental illness runs in Abigail's family Chad might want to come clean. It's nice you are googling symptoms but that's not going to help anyone. Jennifer and Eric both drunk and Jen is high. Still like their scenes. Probably could do without them making out on the couch where Ciara was raped though. By the way does Jennifer even know that happened? Now with Eric leaving it's such a wasted opportunity. -

So Summer's Eve and Jade and her monotone voice get to be on screen but they CUT Melissa Reeves scenes? Jennifer is glaringly absent from all this Ben and Abby nonsense and it's stupid. The woman who was overly involved in her adult children's lives for the last year is nowhere to be found now? I know she's enjoying her pills lately but come on. I love seeing JJ but I think it's time he share scenes with other people and not just comforting his crazy sister. Caroline didn't foresee Kayla passing out? Shocker. -
I do too. I hope it was just something people put out there to see the reaction. I can't imagine it was any good at all.

I read some rumors out there that they may be heading for Chad and Ciara. I think there has been a reason for making her 18 but no one knew why. If they are pushing her toward Chad that explains it since Chad is at least in his mid 20's. I hope it's not true because that means they are pushing away Ciara/Theo which I think works but who knows.

Welcome back Juliette Barnes and Hayden!!! I loved her scenes with Cadence. Its nice to see Juliette embracing motherhood. I am glad she told the truth at the press conference. (except the Jeff part) But if they are willing to forget I am too. Avery being skeptical of Juliette's parenting is understandable because she was so unstable for so long. I'm glad he let her see her at the end. So glad Will got a win this episode. Luke letting him back on the label is the happiest he has been in weeks! Even though the poor thing couldn't find anyone to write with because they were busy. He did crack me up with his face with Avery ranting about Juliette. Layla, you've heard The Exes sing right? Of course Alicia Witt is going to take them on tour with her and not you! I can't say I feel all that sad for her. She is trying to use Avery but hasn't really succeeded yet. All of her plans are just falling apart.

I just don't understand why Caroline's "visions" are only for the male members of the Kiriakis family. (Bo, Victor, Philip) Why didn't she see Ciara's rape or all of this happening to Kayla?

Spoilers and Speculation: Clink Boom and Cheese Fondue

I did notice in the promo that Parker (Ashley Jones) is wearing an oversized shirt to hide her belly. Granted she's only on once every 3 weeks or so but its CRAZY that you don't have to write every actress's pregnancy into the story. -

I like Deimos. Victor has been an ass so long I kind of don't care that he left them there. That's how I feel about Victor right now. I can't imagine all the lovely things he will say when he finds out it was Nicole who helped him. That stupid bitchwhore is probably something close. Nice scenes with Maggie and Theresa. At least someone she can bond with since the Brady side of her family is nonexistent. -
It would be nice to see for a few scenes Scorched Earth!Sam going nuts on Nikolas instead of ZenSam. It seems like it is not going to happen so I will just keep wishing for it.

He's for Kristina, I guess? I guess she is going to get over Parker fast. Let's hope this isn't going to make a Kiki/Morgan triangle. -
The lecturing is making me want someone to poke out Nik's eyes! He already knew Hayden was lying about something. He didn't care two weeks ago. It's so inconsistent.

I think that the story with Michael and the Quartermaines/Sonny and Carly was a big miss when they sent Michael back to the Corinthos with no problems. Giving Avery back, immediately forgiving his parents; it was a huge mistake. If they wanted them to interact because of Morgan they could have but just with chilly reception from Micheal and with him NOT giving Avery back at all. They had a good plot involving a lot of the characters for the next couple of years. Writers solution: KILL THAT STORY. Back to the episode: Curtis shutting down Dante was one of my favorite scenes. Why do you care Dante? You know who usually gets left out in the cold in the affair with married people? The non-married person. Get over it Dante. I would love for Sam and Jason to have more meaningful conversations but I guess the banter with Sam being better at fixing things is here to stay. I'll take what I can get for right now. I'm glad they are going to talk to Shawn to figure out hopefully who was responsible for shooting Hayden. Nikolas is seriously trying to play like HE was the one played with Hayden. Please. You took awhile to play the "you hired someone to shoot me in the head." card Hayden. Glad she is finally acknowledging it.

I liked the 2nd episode better than the pilot. I understand he confessed to cheating because he didn't want to say where he was really but it seems at the end now this confession is hitting Miranda Frank as well. I also don't get the wife's insistence that it was Miranda Frank. Does she have a history of affairs with married men? Is it she was the only single woman on the retreat? Didn't really get her pushing it was this particular woman. The TV interview was not good to me. If I had seen Cal on the news I would have been like, "That guy is definitely the head of a cult." Don't know what the anchorwoman was hearing.

"All I wanted to do was sing and write music and here's Daphne getting hit by a car. UGH! You don't care at all about me!" The writers have gone 30 miles over the line of teen cliche for Maddie. Hopefully they can reverse course.

I get it. Just offering a plausible explanation. I would be good with just brief appearances from all of them but that's probably not going to happen. -

I think its a little far fetched but not impossible. Couldn't Rory be traveling from Stars Hollow to New Haven in a 90 minute episode? If all 3 exes are in this; I'm going to wager that maybe Dean is in Stars Hollow? Or she could run into him in Hartford where he has moved when she visits Emily? See Logan at a Yale event. Talk or see Jess also in Stars Hollow because of Luke/Lorelai (if that is happening)? I mean in a long episode Rory driving around and on different days running into 3 exes is sitcom-my and clear plot points but to me it can make sense. -
For the new characters, I actually liked Cash before she went all Single White Female on a teenager. I think it was good for Maddie to have someone to talk to and to write music with and talk to who was not her parents or her 12 year old sister (that I adore lol). My question is would we have seen Cash if HP hadn't gone on medical leave? I think Maddie would have bonded with Juliette more but that's a moot point now. So here's Cash who in 1 episode changed from older mentor to woman whose attachment to a teenager has taken a creepy turn. I assume she will cling to Maddie even more when she finds out her dad has fallen off the wagon.

I don't really have to see them on a date but I'd like some of the scenes they have to not be drive-by "Hi" and "bye" like they are. It feels like they are reminding us in some episodes, " Oh yeah, Danny and Riley date now." I do like the consistency of Riley wearing her Someday necklace Danny gave her. Bonnie and Tucker dancing in costumes makes me laugh out loud always, I need to happen in about every other episode. I have liked Zoey from the beginning and hope she is here to stay and Sam is on the way out. Zoey and Ben work.

I think for a show like Nashville that is on the cusp of being cancelled for the last 2 seasons, the long breaks are not good for them. I read earlier last nights episode was down in the ratings. I think people watch and are thinking who are all these people? RIff, Vita, Luke, etc. There has to be other people on this show besides Rayna, Juliette, and Deacon but them being the core is what worked and that point has been completely missed in the last couple of seasons.
