On January 9th, Julia Quinn posted on her FB page that all the books were being reprinted. It was in response to an article about some of the hardbacks being sold for $700 and she told people not to pay those prices. I’m late to the discussion about romance novels that should be optioned, but I’m both excited and very nervous for the movie for Sally Thorne’s The Hating Game that just wrapped for Netflix. I’ve read it at least 4 times- I love it that much.

Yeah... I think I’m out. Next week looks like a rehash of this week with bitchy barnacles thrown on.

I loved this one. Julia Quinn recently posted on FB that if she had to pick an author most like her it would be Tessa Dare.

I just finished this one and absolutely loved it. The humor was great. I was 3/4ths through the movie when I looked up the cast and found out the leads were married in real life. Love it.

Still slogging through my DVR... This one was so, so bad. There was no plot, nothing that made me see why these two ended up together besides the fact they’re both single. 90 minutes I could have spent on a better movie.

What I keep coming back to is if it were a man getting naked all the time around friends and strangers, he would be labeled a perv and would probably be charged with sexual-harassment right away. Yet, nothing is said to her about this behavior. I hate the double standard.

Still trying to get through all the movies on my DVR... Time to Come Home for Christmas is really boring me and I’m struggling to finish it. I already fell asleep once.

Book vs series characters for me were hot and miss. Daphne- can’t remember how I felt about her in the book and don’t really have strong feelings for her in the series. Simon- pretty much the same as Daphne but the actor is so pretty and does smoldering well so I choose series version. Bridgerton mother- much prefer the book version. I agree with whoever said they envisioned her as more plump and caring. And maybe they’ll address it in future eps, but I missed her encouraging her sins to dance with the wallflowers ( we find out she was one when she met their father). Colin- much prefer the book version but the last scene gave me hope. Anthony- book version so far, but his story was my favorite so I’m holding out hope. Benedict-TV version so far. Eloise- I don’t even remember her book... Love her on the series Penelope- Definitely book version Lady Danbury- love both but the tv version is awesome

I’m really enjoying the use of modern songs for the music.

I’ve never been in labor, but my god, the thought of Julie and Doug singing to me during it is horrific.

Todd’s snark was in full effect. Whitney is ill because of her sunburn, she exposed a great amount of flesh (paraphrased). Also, notice when Whitney gets off the jet ski she rolled over to her stomach? That’s the only way she can stand up; needs her hands to leverage herself up. Notice everyone sitting on the dock and she continues to stand? She can’t get down that low and definitely couldn’t get herself up. Take it from a fat girl. And that shit is not fabulous.

Agree, and I hated his beard! Boy, was I wrong. 😂

I thought the Chase thing was the fakest ever, then we have Lenny just show up out of the blue. Please. 🙄🙄🙄

I was hesitant to watch it based on the title alone, but I’m really enjoying it.

If some guy cheated on me and wanted to meet up, no way in hell I’d meet him half way. His ass can come to me. However, I also wouldn’t have a paycheck that depended on the meeting.

I would actually prefer that so Eli is not tied to that nutcase shrew forever.

At this point it’s just downright embarrassing watching Sarah. I’m going to have to start fast forwarding to avoid the secondhand cringe.
