Fifteen minutes in, already a commercial, and no dancing yet - just a recap of the season that we just saw!

Holiday Baking Championship - General Discussion
LexieLily replied to a topic in Holiday Baking Championship
It wasn't Christmas, but her color combination was almost exactly the same as Monica's apartment on Friends -
Different cases or the same cases so I don't need to bother recording it? :p

Newest episode. If I was Bob I would have been furious that Leslie/Lyndsay not only used but broke my tools to make a sign for my store. Considering he didn't talk much during the house reveal and when he did he gave noncommittal answers, I don’t think he liked the end results.

Is Feuds Turned Fatal not the same series as Fear Thy Neighbor?

Sorry, not sorry, but five people are too many for a finale.

You didn't ask, but ask and ye shall receive! SYTYCD - Mercy [Katee/tWitch]

Julianne is horrible at interviewing, lmao 🤣

I was all set to type out something to the effect of "well, duh, isn't that a given?" but *gestures wildly to the past decade of Trump* it's good to spell things out in excruciating detail for these particular Republicans and this particular Supreme Court, apparently.

You'd think after what happened with Sam and the interns Linc would have learned to answer his pages faster - faster than letting forty minutes go by. Where were the Yasuda parents?
-
Especially compared to Kyle and Lacey's Instant Jive.

So You Think You Can Dance did an episode like this when each couple replicated a Mia Michaels routine. (Witney and Lindsay were contestants that year, actually.) and it had the same problem, more or less, that this episode does. The dances were fine but none of them were half as good as the original, iconic, best-of-SYTYCD-routines.

In a surprise to absolutely no one, a Putin presidential aide made a statement to the effect of "to achieve success in the election, [Donald Trump] relied on certain forces to which he has corresponding obligations. As a responsible person he will be obligated to fulfill them." Pardon me for laughing at anyone thinking Trump would be any sort of responsible person, but that might explain why Putin aired nude photos of Melania on Russian TV. It's a mob boss move, Trump, you like that, don't you?

That is one of the countless things I don't understand. There was no problem in arresting, indicting, charging the individual citizens that participated in 1/6 (the dude that sat in Pelosi's desk, the one that actually broke the window to enter the Capital, etc.) and so many people of them are in prison proper. Did they expect it to be like an episode of Law and Order where those people flipped on Trump and gave up evidence, or what?

Trump is seventy-eight years old, clearly not well physically, the most exercise he ever does is play golf and he lives on a diet of Diet Coke and hamburgers. There's a nonzero chance that he won't make it through the first year of his new term, never mind the entire four. What will MAGA do when Trump isn't around? How long will it take for the cult to die off? The nicest thing you can say about Vance is that he's weird (TM Walz), and when DeSantis tried to "run" against Trump in the primary he was squashed very conclusively very fast. I don't see any other Republican picking up the mantle of Cult Leader, do you?

The scenes were nice but I'm not here for this retcon bullshit that Linc secretly had feelings for Jo the entire time he/Amelia were together or that Amelia felt some kind of way about their close friendship. Linc had known Jo back when she was Brooke and they were always written as brother/sister until Alex left the show and Jo needed a new scene partner/love interest. Unless Amelia was making all of that up to try and cheer Jo up, in which case I'm still mad at it but at least it isn't a retcon.

I am not a fan of Not-Drew AT ALL but what is Jason doing telling both of the kids about Sam? He barely knows Scout. (For that matter he barely knows Danny but at least Jason is Danny's dad.)
-
Delay in start time because of football/60 Minutes.
-
I always think of Hines Ward and Kym when things like that happen...
-
Sam is barely an afterthought in her own death and the fact that she has to go to Jason/Drew and tell them to be there for their children is a horrible look. And Drew wasn't even at the hospital for Scout...

The green screen for both scenes of Colter/Russell driving on the road was....something 🤣

Obviously the writers forgot that they had Sasha's DNA tested against Mac's (Sasha swapped Cody's sample with hers) and it showed no familial match. If she is Robert's that makes her Mac's niece. (On the plus side, Sasha is already better for Robin as a "long-lost secret sibling" than Peterich....)

Either this show is predictable or I've watched too much true crime because I called WITSEC as soon as Bobby said there was no record of the wife prior to 2015 and also that the oldest child was the ex-husband's from the mob family.

That was a horribly-edited version of And I Am Telling You (I'm Not Going), though 😔
