What was Roper spitting into the champagne bottle? I thought it was pistachio shells, but why would Pine take those out of the garbage? Pine took the SIM cards, but what the heck was in the bottle? I'm sure it was something major that I missed.

I knew viskey and Johnstown flood (happened on my birthday!). I knew FJ was not Newton (I associate Newton with the 1600s) but also knew it wasn't on my usual list of British scientists: Faraday, Watts, etc. The only two Finns that ever come up on Jeopardy! are Nurmi and the composer whose name I cannot remember. Siebelius?

I've read one Sue Grafton book and was underwhelmed. FJ completely stumped me. Relieved McKinnie didn't win, and was the melodramatic collapse necessary?

Today I really liked Margaret. Excellent game all around. Margaret's parents are in their 90s so she is at least 50. Clean living....

I will watch today's show (Friday) with the sound muted. At least I can shout out the answers, yet not hear Margaret (and Alex). What will she talk about in today's interview, now that she has covered cats and knitting??????

I had to quit watching because Margaret was so flipping slow when talking. I'm a librarian with a cat and I knit, so I'm stereotypical and she stole my interview story!

Looking forward to tonight's German silent films and discussions. I took an entire semester of German cinema in college (my B.A. is in Cinema Studies, an totally worthless liberal arts degree) so I will find this interesting. Nosferatu scared the crap out me, and will again tonight.

I had no clue as to FJ! so I said King of the United States (was thinking about the most ridiculous title ever and Garfield Goose sprang to mind). I like the new champ although did Wednesday not prove "don't start in the middle of the category." And I yelled BMS, startling the cat, when the former champ smugly said "Marcos" and expected to get credit.

I was more than irked that they were given the money back for the initials category. If you HAVE to start in the middle,of a category, then you suffer the consequences. Champ can't off my screen fast enough. I was rooting for Sabrina.

As far as FJ, I figured out wheat, but could only come up with Shredded Wheat which I knew was invented earlier than the 1900s. My brother ate Wheaties every day as a kid.... As yes, the clue should have BMS--and read "this cereal." Putting "brand' in the clue was confusing.

I like Philip, and that gutsy DD wager made me stop eating dinner. Being the geographical idiot that I am, I said Windsor. The clock ticking away and I thought "he doesn't know it." Then he pulled it out and went on to bet $11K in FJ (which I also didn't know). I wish he had beaten Roger Craig's record.

I had no idea on FJ, but I knew it wasn't Hawking, since he was born in the 40s and the clue stated a paper published in 1954.

Gah. Dr. Armstrong is SOOOOO unlikeable (not at all like the Walter Houston character). Can't wait til he's bumped off. I've read every Agatha Christie multiple times and ATTWN is the creepiest book. This mini-series is really creepy too, especially Rogers. Was it said why Mrs. Rogers was wearing sunglasses? And why change the name of island from Indian (in the book???)

Rachel's stories are as dull as dishwater. Addicted to lip gloss? She has 5 or 6? Slacker. I have at least that many in my purse. I have no entertaining stories to tell about myself either, but I'd make something up!

I guessed Ezra Pound for FJ. I totally didn't know that T.S. was originally from the U.S. Connection between Titi's name and his beads?????

Maybe Stuart can be the baby's nanny?

Daniel Franco is married???? Somehow I'm finding that hard to believe. Seriously though, I have a soft spot in my heart for Daniel. He's wacky and has time management issues, but I do like his designs since I'm a fan of the tailored look. He'll be eliminated next week though because he's on double secret probation and can't meet deadlines.

As Cosmo Kramer would say "I'm out." Bernadette was emphatic that she didn't like and didn't want children. Now she's pregnant without discussing this with Howard. I'd like to see a strong, female character who felt her life was NOT incomplete without children. Many women have a made a choice to not have kids; I'd like to see a show reflect this.

Cam, followed by Phil, then Jay. Don't care for Mitchell and cannot stand Haley or Alex.
