  1. I am getting this odd feeling that if Ma or Pa Snowflake aren't good to Skye, Gordon will step in and protect her. He seems more genuine and ernest than Ze Flakes and Lincoln. Could just be my desire to see something more of Gordon
  2. I am wondering if she was realizing that she'd made the wrong choice of 'sides' and thought to act dumb and help out Coulson now - even if in a small way - to start her journey back to C-SHIELD (Coulson's SHIELD). I was over the flipping MOON when I saw Deathlock/Peterson!!! LOVED his character and am so happy he's back. I am hoping he's around for a much longer haul this time. Leo/Jemma - loved this in the show as well. Sammich and all. And Fitz getting a lot of his mind 'back' and being able to process all this deftly is happy-making in its own. Coulson/Hunter - this is gonna be fun.
  3. And I am also questioning Eddie actually getting involved with the daughter of his partner. That would seem to me to be verboten. Those two have to trust and depend on each other for their lives. Any friction due to Joe's daughter would certainly effect that. Something hinks the back of my neck telling me that's not just a bad choice on Eddie's part. I don't know from beans as I've never read any of the comics or anything, but it just doesn't fit somehow.
  4. THANK you, tennisgurl! I am still chanting Ooobagobba! right along with you! I was hoping I wasn't the only one harking back that far :-) And Blair Underwood in more episodes? YES PLEASE! He was fantastic in this role. And I loved the rapport between he and pretty much all of the cast he had scenes with. Not crazy about all the holes with the Cal and Friends plot line. And so sad with Mack's crossing over. Did NOT like the arc when it started, and still baby-baby pouting about it. Cheers for Simmons' build. He's turning into finding his new self more and more, and I am liking it.
  5. Re: Iris and the bowling alley. Or anywhere for that matter. When a man or woman knows that someone is interested in them, they back OFF from touch, being too close, etc - or should - if they respect the other person and don't reciprocate the feelings. Anywhere else what she's doing would be considered leading him on. What she's been doing is having her cake and eating it too. I don't have hate for her at all. I like her. But, she's doing nothing for him, and all her actions are purely for herself at this point. I can see why Barry would date if Iris rejected him (her choice to live with Eddie) as he has every right to try for happiness - especially since Linda (and I really like her) was into him, and they shared some things in common. Break out and enjoy someone else. Who knows - could lead to something much better than expected. Back to my original point - Iris should have backed completely off and respected him. Dr Wells: I'd always had some internal snark about him. When my husband said 'he's a lot like Jeff Goldblum' I totally got why I don't like him. Cisco was awesome and I totally loved all his scenes.
  6. My thoughts I didn't see Katie doing much work *at all* on any of her projects. She let her carpenter do most of it and freaked on what she was supposed to complete, so he ended up helping her as well. Read: To me, she did very little except conceptualize and therefor didn't build anything I was over the moon Tim won as I loved his project and its innovation. Crushed to see he'd been disqualified. I get where they made that decision, and not knowing if Tim had ever seen anything like that (although given the work he does, I am sure he's always researching for ideas and likely could have seen that project as it matches his style and level of surprise he likes in his work), I get it, but why couldn't it have been given to Gaspar instead of Katie?! Ellen's appearances were awkward, if I were being kind in my take on them. To me, it looked as if her appearances there were solely to justify the competition being in her name. The jokes were horrible, the input from her stilted and any other purpose for being there not well defined. The focus on all things girlie. Tim had 'masculine' tossed around each of his projects as if that was a bad thing. Never heard word one about anything her making not being seen in a man's home - that it would be too feminine to be considered for use in many homes. Or, in my opinion, too freaking childish and useless, but... I get Wayfair put this out, and they are marketing to women, but their comments to Tim were that his works were too targeted to go into most homes. I don't know that I'd watch another season of this series. The amount of talent which was sloughed off with Katie making it to the end was insulting, in my opinion. I'd MUCH rather have Tim's disqualifications go to Gaspar.
  7. Regarding Tim's submission and the discrediting that women wouldn't have it in their home: I was shouting at my husband (give him love to live with me) " I would TOTALLY have that in our home!!" I am not into whatever Wayfair Missy designates for 'wimmins'.
  8. There myself right about now, TS. 90 yo mom had a stroke (in the brain stem) this morning. Sending much love and support your way!
  9. I find Anne to be a petulant, spoiled poor sport (if all that can go in one description and make sense). She's competitive to the point of being rude and obnoxious. She's a tattle and gets into others' business. She's the bratty asshole kid you hated playing with on the playground because every ball was their's and they'd walk away if the game didn't go just their way. And I know she has a lot of talent, and can rock it in the kitchen. She's just not 'appetizing' to watch in competitions where she's not the sous. - Edited for spelling corrections
  10. Call me whatever, but I just love seeing Bird step in and show his muscle and cool. Hurricane dude seemed well above pressure cooked, but his landlord seemed pretty smug himself - epseically the smiling as he was told to walk out. What a cluster of inbreeding so far this week, and it's only Tuesday? Popcorn and wine by Friday, folks! ETA: And yes, please - anyone have a shot of googelly moogelly eyes, post it. I think I'm going all Marty Feldman just looking for her.
  11. I am still 'wtf'ing' over mom (black body suit with hot pink god-knows-what-but-it-sits-up-under-her-ass) who's being sued by pedi boyfriend to her *still* underage daughter (babybabymomma). She storms out of the courtroom and shouts for her daughter to get out then charges back in that the man's a statuatory rapist and she has proof. Chicha, you let the man SLEEP IN YOUR HOME WITH YOUR UNDERAGE DAUGHTER. And you are on disability (with your polished aluminum grill) yet have 8 children, the youngest is 1 years old. This shit's just too effed up to make it up. I swear I felt something pop inside my skull at some point watching that shit
  12. Leo can leave my screen any time -- the sooner, the better for me. What an effing annoying idiot
  13. Re: Jamie saving Tyrion Or, Varys and Jamie had already discussed what may need to happen if/when Oberyn lost to the Mountain (I doubt anyone thought he'd even get in one good strike before meeting the Baby Jesus) and that was what the look between Jamie and Varys was about just before the battle. I don't think Varys was ever too far away from Jamie where Tyrion's fate was concerned. I am sure Varys knew of Jamie's love for his brother and desire to protect him. Just how that conversation went down is for the plants in the garden to know, I guess.
  14. This has me wondering how Cersei is going to feel with having Shae found dead in her now dead father's bed. Given everything else she's going to learn about that night, it will certainly add to the mind-fuckedness.
  15. That's what I'd thought, thank you Constantinople! But, I wasn't sure... From one soul to be tortured being in it to one tortured soul being saved in it. Very cool
  16. I really liked the whole fight scene between Brienne and the Hound. Not only did she bite his ear off, but give it a wonderful Fuck You spit from her mouth. That was beautiful. And personally, I think if the Hound hadn't chose to open his DickFace mouth by saying he should have raped Sansa, etc... and had instead remained the man Arya had come to know, she'd have done him the favor of a quick end. To me, her sitting there was her way of really absorbing everything he said and at the same time, giving him the rope to hang himself. I don't know that he could have been anything other than ass as he's not his best when scared. Am I the only one who shouted in their head when Arya was at the bow of that boat, "I'm the king of the world!"? I really hope we don't get a lot of Red Witch next season. I find her over/ill-scripted and annoying. From what I saw, Jojen's (thank you, KurlyGrl) sister did a mercy killing before leaving him so he wouldn't be killed by whatever those skeleton things were. Good on her. The scene with Tyrion choking Shae was poorly done. She barely struggled (even though he was above and over the edge of bed from her) and plop, done. I liked that you could hear her neck finally breaking though. Sorry, but she was an idiot to not listen to him, and even knowing full well she does what she has to, in my eyes I'm glad she's gone. Tywin's face when he saw Tyrion was priceless. There was only the slightest fear/inability to fully respond look in his eyes. Well played, CD. Very well played. And I loved that once Varys heard the bells, he knew he needed to get out of Dodge. I laughed when he turned right around. Great moment. And I thought that was definitely the same box the wizard was in. And who was it that he showed the wizard to? That I can't recall. Liked the episode, although very sad to see it knowing we're 9-10 months from seeing the next one. *hands on hips - harrumph* ETA: Dany has never known how to handle that she cannot control by her prettiness. She's never once tried to train/control/manage her dragons thinking that they'll just naturally 'love their mother as everyone else loves her'. When the largest turned on her while fighting over food with the other two, that was her wake up call. However, she didn't do anything to remedy that. She just got scared and distant to them. What are they going to do - breath fire on her? She can survive that. She pays off the villagers for their goats, then locks up two of the three when a child has been found hurt. She can't handle them at all, which shows how ill-equipped she is to handle people. It will be interesting to see how she (doesn't) handles when people act up to her.
  17. I hope that's actual program we get instead of preview of past episodes (which is what I fear we'll get)
  18. I can see the Hound letting Arya go her own way. There's really no reason now for him to keep tromping her around god's green acre. Thought, too, about Pod and Brianne. They're on their way up to the Eire (sp?). Ha... what if the Hound meets up with Brianne and Pod, hearing what Tyrion's fate is, decides to go down saving Tyrion. Sooo many possibilities with who may meet up with whom on which path.
  19. I'm *hoping*: Sansa and Arya see each other. They're so flipping close, it's ridiculous to have them not see one another again The Hound gets some compensation before I think... he's going to get sepsis and keels. If he goes down to a sad, drained state, I hope Arya uses Needle to say a charitable good bye. I hope they both look to each other knowing they gave one another something they'd not had previously. Either that, or I hope The Hound takes out LF either thinking he's taking one over on Sansa and/or jealousy. Arya steps in too late to see the discussion between H and LF, and her response is to help her sister who bemoans the loss of her benefactor. I hope like hell Tyrion's eyes are truly opened to the ugly I feel his dad's been ladling out on Tyrion's life this whole time. I hope he get ape-shit determined to get himself free. He's boned otherwise. And I *hope* Jamie is still behind his brother and does one more noble deed. Maybe he'll even do a beautiful face push to Cersi Puckered Puss. Jon kills Mance. I don't know if the Wildlings will take something of his hide if he's seen, and we may end up losing him, but this will be the very first time he's completely stood and acted on his own instincts. He will, I believe, be successful. Dany needs to explain Jorah's absence to Mr Fire in Mah Loins why, and his plan then becomes to 'be seduced' as often as possible. He gets slapped back into friendzone. Her story is as boring to me as spending a weekend watching Orson the Squasher hone his craft. I want Hodor to give just one good "what the fuck?!" at least once. Twice would send me. And that after the one hour is over, I'll be heartbroken to have to wait so long to soak in this show for another season
  20. I wonder if Slynt A- didn't have the courage to kill Gilly and/or B - thought everyone would be dead by the time this was all over and he didn't need to worry about who she'd tell.
  21. Just a few wild thoughts I've had regarding where this show may go I don't know that Arya would miss another family encounter. I don't know if the show's writers would do that. I wonder if somehow Sansa and Arya see each other. The Hound sees how Littlefinger is too close. He (at least in my view) has a crush on her and takes out LF. RE: The Hound - I hope like hell he doesn't go through the Moon Door. If anything (if he does end up dying, which is my fear because I like him as well), I hope Arya learned the lesson of mercy killing and he's too weak to off himself so she takes the same grace with him as he did the farmer. Foreshadowing Sansa with the needle sewing the dress and Arya with her Needle. Gilly survives. I am sure she knew that the 'hooting owl' was a Wildlings call. Her being hidden in the closet, and Ygrette finding her, told me Ygrette realized Gilly knew they were coming and to protect herself and child. Those who would know that would be Wildlings themselves. I am wondering if her coming back to the Wall brings some kind of strength and determination in Sam that he never knew existed and *hopefully* we get to see him kick some major ass. I don't even want to think about Ramsey. Could only have been me, but I got the distinct feeling when he'd told reek that he needed a bath, that reek was excited. Perhaps he's grown a big love for Ramsey? The only thing I want to think of with Ramsay is Theon breaking through and going ballistic on him. And I am wondering if the Red Witch is going to use Stannis' daughter as a pawn. She knew Onion was going to play a pivotal role. What does she know about the daughter? I fear she's going to do something ugly with her. My hope outside of all hope is that the daughter has powers herself, and discovers them saving her father from the Red Witch. I can only hope Tyrion makes it out of this alive. It would send the butt hurt right through Cersi and I think she'd feel ultimately betrayed by life. She's never felt she's gotten what she deserved. Would be interesting if her end, if there is one, turns out to be one hell of a what she deserves. Perhaps it will be considered a 'draw' therefor he is innocent. Or, Varys has something up his sleeve. I hope so! One more thing about Littlefinger - he'd said 'sometimes the weakly grow up to be great successes' (paraphrasing). I got the feeling he was referencing himself (smug asshole that he is), but I wonder if justice will finally come to LF. Varys was very concerned about Sansa being with him. Maybe *he's* got something planned that will be LF's ultimate doom.
  22. I wonder, too, if Cersi's disgust of him (her speech to him at Joffrey's wedding) may contribute to his dismissive attitude towards Pycelle. Perhaps with Cersi finally (feeling) under Tywin's wing and working with him, he 'rewards' her with siding with her on items.
  23. This is true, and why using chemical or physical castration does not deter many sex offenders (rapist, pedophiles). It's much more in the brain than what can be done with genitals.
