  1. RIP Luther. You were a cool guy. My favourite scene tonight is probably a tie between Luther getting hit with the pipe and Steve's comments about it. And the exposing of secrets on the boat with one of them saying that Karen caused the plane crash. Danny's pant dance was great too. I guess this means Corey won't show up in the next season.
  2. I guess Artistic Skin Design had it coming, but at the same time I'm annoyed that they're gone but Allegory Arts is still there. Artistic was actually a solid contender, with more hits than misses. Allegory are over staying their welcome. They really did luck out with their team. In the final challenge, the skull wasn't all that great too and I kind of wish they spent more time blasting it, instead of saying nothing. It was only their second day and judging from the twitter comments Cleen is a fan favourite, so they were safe. I do like how awesome Erin has been. When she gives interviews it always seems like she's losing her confidence, but she's great.
  3. It's Luther on the show, but the actor is one half of Flight of the Concords. A folk gangster rap band (comedy really) from New Zealand. The two (Rhys Darby and Jermaine) were on a show together back in the day, so it's nice seeing them together here. I'm slightly in love with Flight of the Conchords and kind of fangirl when I talk about them. So I'm going to stop here. But do check them out.
  4. Of course it was Carl. His plan was flawless and even though he doesn't have Florence, I'll remember his name. That was my favourite line. And I loved that Jermaine was there.
  5. It's all editing. I agree. It's just that when you're half asleep already hearing Cleen and Dane shouting during their talking heads isn't really appealing. (It does help keep me awake though :p)
  6. I remember seeing Cleen before, but at the same time I don't. I don't really like how loud he is though. Hopefully he tones that down. I need to go to the website and check out the tattoos. I remember Oliver talking about his heart attack and then I passed out (it's been a long day). When I woke up Classic Trilogy left.
  7. I thought that too, but Cory only shows up once a season so I'm not sure how that will work.
  8. I hope it was one of the pirates and not Danny in an effort to get his best bud back from Florence. The guy in the hoodie did look a bit chubby, but not like Danny so I dunno. They're probably going to end up back the island, or maybe on the opposite side of it...which in turn will make them think they're at a new island.
  9. I liked Pinz and Needles, since they seemed nice, but they were hit or miss. Some of their hits were gorgeous though. I would have liked to see Allegory leave, but the cowgirl proportions were horrible so I can understand sending them home. I thought Tommy's tat had two butt cheeks, but the loin cloth part made sense. It was a beautiful tattoo. The cop one was fine, but like the others I didn't like how fake the boobs looked.
  10. I was secretly hoping that the New Zealander that the pirate leader had sex with before Steve was a member of Flight of the Concords. I'm glad that this was indeed the case. I guess Jermaine's appearance means that the show can only show one New Zealander at a time. Having more than one would be too much. Todd was hilarious in this episode. The accent and everything was perfect.
  11. The flash challenge was sweet and I'm glad that everyone did well. I like both guys in Black Spade, since both seemed low key and only argued with each other for the most part, and was kind of rooting for them to do well but it was time for them to go. I did like their New School tat, but they dropped the ball here by not doing the faces first. Then again, their canvas was giving them a hard time. I wonder why entitled people come on this show for tats knowing that you can either get a really good one or complain during it and end up with something horrible.
  12. That's a bit of a deal breaker for me. If she dies then I don't have any reason to watch the show. I get that she's not a fan favourite and if they're including more of Caroline (I don't get why we need to see her) then another female needs to die to replace her. But why the mother? Someone on twitter mentioned this, but I kind of agree. The writers broke up Haylijah because we're living in a Trump world and women need to stand up for themselves, only to kill her in the end? Klaus and Elijah are allowed to live and have redemption after redemption, but Hayley who just wants to be a mother to her child has to die in order for Klaroline to live? I never watched TVD and don't want a stupid romance on a show about family. This is stupid. edit: I don't actually mind if she dies for a good reason. But apparently Caroline adopts Hope after, which means that this is just fanservice for TVD viewers and not for those who just wanted the Originals. I can't accept that.
  13. I didn't even realize that Wrecked was back. I've missed this show and it's wackiness. I wonder how that one guy (I want to say Corey, but I'm not sure) feels about the development between Owen and Florence. I don't think he'd be happy to see the love of his life hooking up with someone else.
  14. The phoenix was colourful, but the skull was a better design.
  15. 'The Bachelor' franchise: For love and money That line reminded me of how much I miss For Love or Money. That was quality reality TV right there. I wonder what will happen to the producer now that this is mostly over. She can't work on the show again, I mean she could but if I was in charge of BIP I'd fire her. Corrine may not come back here, but she could still get her own reality show on E or something.
  16. Here's their statement: [Taken from buzzfeed] Taping is to resume and I think the powers to be will reduce the drinking. But this whole thing is just sad. Corrine was made to be the face of this show and got a lot of hype and all of this happened over nothing. I feel really bad about DeMario. You can't play games like this and expect people to come out of it okay. BIP and ABC will, even Corrine and her producers will probably find work in some reality show network, but DeMario will always have this label hanging over his head even though he did nothing wrong and wasn't even the aggressor.
  17. This is why I'm confused by her statement that she's a victim in something that's every woman's nightmare. It's been reported that she doesn't blame DeMario and says that he was drunk too, but by calling herself a victim in that sense makes DeMario look like a rapist. That's obviously a problem and probably something she didn't expect would happen, kind of like how the producers didn't expect things to go this far. I still say that while the jury is out about her being a victim of DeMario (almost every account says she was the aggressor, so this would be very hard to prove. You can't shove your vagina in someone's face and claim to be a victim. That isn't to say that there's a problem with rape culture and whatnot, but in this specific case and after everything we've read and heard it would be pretty dangerous if the judge rules in her favour. ) she's still somewhat a victim of the manipulations of the show. And yes, the show doesn't tell them to get wasted it does encourage them to do this enough and with fame-whores they probably push them even more. The actual contestants are still responsible for their own actions, but I can't deny the fact that the producers and handlers push and manipulate them to do things for the sake of the show. That's probably what her lawyers are going to say when they get to sue the show. As long as she doesn't go after DeMario, her case could hold a lot of weight and have her even more set in life.
  18. I do think Corrine is a victim, but not of DeMario but of the company that makes trashy shows like BIP. The level of alcohol that they gave contestants and the fact that handlers/producers will try to get their talents to act up is manipulation and kind of disgusting when you think about it. Sure, these are all adults and they are here knowing that this will happen, but there's still a level of manipulation that happens here that isn't right. Then again, considering how popular BIP is I wonder what that says about us lol.
  19. What happened was disgusting, but they also lost a lawsuit and two of their franchise players because of it. Since then, if anyone, male or female, did something out of line then they'd be kicked out. That being said, it's a bit different from this incident, since Corrine and DeMario were both drunk and doing stuff together. While Tonya was unconscious when Kenny and Evan decided to sexually assault her.
  20. I disagree. There may be some who hated Corrine from her Bachelor days and that hatred was brought over to here. But for me, and from what I've seen from most posters, the issue here isn't black and white. A shows like this, and the Real World, and the Challenge, and anywhere were contestants are told to keep drinking for ratings was a lawsuit waiting to happen. Production companies need to limit alcohol and take better care of their talent. Do we all like to see sloppy behaviour, sure. But not all the time. (I use to watch the Challenge, but stopped because drunk rants and stupid behavior took up most of the episodes when all I wanted to see were people competing for money) As for the case, I think it's clear that Corrine's issue stems from production and nothing was said about DeMario, who was also too drunk to consent. My issue is that Corrine is seen as a victim and DeMario is labeled a rape victim, when he didn't give consent and was drunk as well. That's a problem, because consent isn't only for the woman but for the man as well. Rape culture is an issue, but rape culture forgets that men are victims as well but no one says anything. DeMario is getting screwed over here when he did nothing wrong, even Corrine acknowledges this. That isn't right. I'm not faulting Corrine here. Nor do I think her behaviour from before warrants anyone attacking her.
  21. As someone who has never watched TVD, I don't want a Klaroline endgame. I don't even really want romance on this show. Just a family drama with horrible people.
  22. The only season of the Bachelor that I watched was an old one with Jesse Palmer and that's only because all of the Canadian channels were going crazy that a Canadian was the Bachelor. Even though that is my only experience with the show and the first season of UnReal, I've been fascinated with this story. On one hand, I don't think someone's overt sexuality should cause people to demean Corrine, but on the other hand every report says that the two of them were incredibly drunk. Corrine may have been a victim of production not stepping in and people can talk about whether she is able to give consent when she's that drunk and doesn't remember anything the next day, but it almost seems sexist (actually it is) that DeMario's character is ruined when he was drunk and was pursued. It's almost like a woman has to give consent, but for a man it's a given because men are horny creatures who are always down for a good time. Let's say that DeMario didn't consent and that Corrine did all of that to him, if he claimed rape most people would laugh him off and say that he should just be blessed that a young an attractive woman stuck her vagina in his face. (On the other side, if a man did that to a drunk woman no one would laugh it off) He lost his job and is probably going through a lot of hardships because whenever cases like this happen the narrative is that the woman is always a victim and the man is responsible, even if they are both drunk. (If he isn't, or she isn't and the other party is then that's a different story) Regardless of what happens with BIP, I do think this is an interesting conversation that came out from this. I hope they show the tape for his sake and I hope he has a good support system, because if he didn't and all of this got to him...the show wouldn't be able to get back from this at all.
  23. After Hayley's parents died, Marcel was the one who saved her and brought her to Kieran. Hayley's parents also had a good relationship with vampires, so Marcel probably saw Hayley a few times while mom and dad were alive. I kind of wish they showed him saving Hayley during that flashback scene. It would have tied in well with what Marcel said.
  24. Another great scene was when Larry pleaded with the jury. I thought he'd recite a poem, but instead went into full haunt mode instead. Larry is an oddball, but his pettiness throughout the season always allowed us to think maybe he actually did do it. I'm glad he didn't though.
  25. Trial & Error just finished and even though Sherri may have questionable views, she was a hoot on the show. Hopefully we get a second season.
