  1. And Amie's tear filled eyes when she said she might not see Billy for a month. What drama, what pathos. Hike your ass down the dock and ask what room they are in for gods sake. 2 rooms- one for the aging hippies and one for the pack o'kidz. As far as I can tell, nothing has changed. I'm waiting for them to get back to brown dump, find out the Bears have eaten the cats, and we focus on Matt and his problems. Maybe he will get some real therapy and they will explain to him that he really needs to take advantage of this opportunity to run, not walk, away from the soul sucking environment that is the brown family. Maybe someone will rescue Rain too.
  2. Ina123, I agree. I was more interested in Matt than Billy and Bam (if interested is the right word). This is the most serious acting Matt has done. Why did he go to rehab? Alcohol or drug abuse? Billy mentioned that Matt was staying out late in town, which shoots down all this bunk about them never being separated and the 'boys' not liking to be 'out of the bush'.
  3. I read I Fired God last night, and was horrified of course by the brutality these women and children face, but more so by the governments seeming lack of interest. The Rubios, Huckabees, various senators and governors, police officials, and "church leaders" that are turning a blind eye to this issue sickens me. I understand church and state, but I also believe the law overrides church doctrine as far as physical and sexual abuse, education, and the right to have choices without threat of harassment.
  4. He claims that she was engaging in illegal activities during the alleged incident. Now how would he know that?
  5. Wait...fish are free? And right outside their back door? Well hell, somebody tell Papa Pilgrim...and cancel half that shipment of Doritos.
  6. Pretty nice fishing gear...and binoculars...and the electronic systems on the rotten stinking sinker. I guess Discovery put out some bucks so they didn't all DIE. I can't even respond to the Neanderthal punching the fish.
  7. What I can't figure out is how they went from saying it was a small blonde woman, cleared Bates and arrested Anna, then when she was cleared they arrested Bates again. How did they get from point A(nna) to point B(ates)??
  8. I am watching this for the first time...holy hell they are talking about hunting girls! I know what they mean, but I swear girls are going to start disappearing. Thank goodness it's fake.
  9. What I would really like to see is the way it really works. I'd like to see a design consult, walkthrough, the designer and the homeowners working out a realistic budget, then the work and finished product. The problem with these reality shows is it's hard to see what really goes into a renovation. No way in the real world does a designer and contractor go into a home and dictate design like these shows do. It might be boring and not have any drama, but I would love to see the whole process, for example for a full kitchen remodel. I'd like to see the draft design options presented, the budget discussions, then the work and reveal.
  10. The big question I have always had is how do you sell a house in the condition most of them are in? So they estimate a value of X Based on a cursory walkthrough, then with Hillary's improvements the value goes up 1.5 times the amount they put in? Of course it's all staged to make people believe the big jobs are all surprises, but really people, how did you not know your basement was leaking and the heating system was shot?! And is the furniture included in the repair / upgrade budget? Or do these poor people not get something because Hillary wants to use the budget to stage the house.
  11. @Lillybee, yep, I know Izzy was baking before Denny died, but she seemed to be manic about it afterwards. My main point was that in many cases it seemed like the writers picked up the House scripts and changed the names.
  12. Great- now we get to listen to Jeff court Tony for the next hour!
  13. Not sure this is the right place to post this observation, but here goes. I am watching House on netflix, and am noticing a startling number of Greys qepisodes that are almost exact copies...plot points as well. For example: House turned to cooking after rehab / Izzy turned to baking after Denny died House episode featured a child born with male and female gentalia, much parental drama / Greys did it almost verbatim. Chase murdered a brutal leader of another country / Greys allowed them to die Almost 3/4 of the House episodes have really close doppelgängers in Greys universe. I just thought it was interesting. Some of them I wasn't even sure what I was watching! While I only listed 3 examples, aficionados of both shows will find many many more. I guess there just aren't that many true mysteries in medicine!
  14. @antikking do you mean Stuart? I think everything you just said would apply better to him than Kripke, and since they have expanded Stuarts role to that of a caregiver they would be a perfect couple. Amy would have what she needs and Stuart would be happy, without interfering with the dynamic of the "central cast". Seeing Sheldon deal with the issue of Amy with someone she is happy with would be a whole season of subplots.
  15. @leighdear - I agree with what you said about the transfer of the shares, but this is Shondaland, where interns can attempt murder (Izzy), screw everything that doesn't move, chop a patient to bits (Shane), go completely crazy (Shane), fight (Derrick, Tony, Mark) and still be just dandy. I don't think real law can be even considered as a plot point! If it were, Webber wouldn't have been able to offer Bailey a place on the board. He isn't a majority shareholder, and that invitation would have to come from the foundation, not the board members. I didn't think the episode was bad, and it was nice to see Leah as calm and competent. It seems like she is over Arizona, and if she is I would like to see her continue on the show. I don't mind her character, and would like to see where she goes with it. I'm not concerned about the fuss between Meredith and Derrick- somehow they will work it out and continue to be a strong couple. Who was surprised that Christina took Shane to Zurich? Duh...
  16. Regarding who to vote for if Tony had given the idol to Trish- I would assume spencer would have voted kass, since he would assume Tony and Trish would have voted for her. Since that didn't happen, I see Tony gone next week, unless he bluffs successfully enough to get them to think he can use the Special idol. However, I think the odds are better than 0 that Tony can't keep his mouth shut and someone will know he can't use it. Hoping for Spencer, Kass and Woo in the final, with Kass getting no votes, Woo getting a couple, and Spencer taking it. I also see Jeff spending the whole after show talking to Tony, so there's that.
  17. I cannot believe Tony reached over Trisha to give the idol to Jeff...what a dick move, and incredibly stupid. I really hope spencer pulls it out. I think he can win at the jury, even against Woo, who isn't really playing but following whoever says sweet things to him. Kass...just go home now.
  18. Well, the girls surprised me this week. Who knew they could shoot?! I hated Brenchel read the clue wrong and had to rerun the course, but I am glad they made it to the mat (but a small vicious voice in my head was murmuring they should lose for being stupid). How the hell did Connor end up doing the roadblock?! I'm afraid they will win, unless Brenchel really pulls it out. Bye Afghananimals...I will miss you!
  19. I'm not sure I agree that Penny is accepting the proposal as a fall back- I think her character has grown enough that she realizes what is really important to her. As far as Sheldon and Raj, I thought that was very sweet. Sheldon is trying, he just isn't quite there yet, and I'm not sure I want him to ever outgrow who he is. Howard and Bernadette and Howard's mom...bleh. The whole storyline with Howard's mom has become a painful caricature, and it is uncomfortable to watch. Maybe they will put her in a nursing home somewhere and visit. I could handle them talking about seeing her rather than watching the nastiness towards her in her own home.
  20. Well, that was better than I thought it would be. There was not enough Christina (there never is) but I thought her appearances were well done. Bailey, Bailey, Bailey <sigh> rose quite a bit by owning up to what she did in spite of hit he incredible stupidity. And while I have a problem with Stephanie covering for her, her explanation to Bailey was flawless and I can understand it. Jo needs a time out or a nap. A little too hyper in this episode. Alex- love love Alex. He is trying so hard, and his interaction with Arizona was great. Leah. No surprise there, but it felt badly for her. It was well acted, and she handled it well at the end. Derrick and Meredith. Well, I dunno. The move would make sense, but that wouldn't be Greys Anatomy. But it would be a great spin off...
  21. Well, Abbadon is dead- for reals! Yay to that, although I loved her and Crowley together. And poor Castiel. He rally needs to get a handle on his angels, lol. It looks like he learned management from watching old cop dramas, with everyone running around putting notes on white boards and putting pins in maps. I thought it was funny to see the headquarters he set up. I am worried about Dean. Sam, not so much.
  22. It wasn't too bad. I was so afraid when I watched the trailers that somehow Christina was getting a Harper Avery equilavent something- so glad they didn't do that! And Richards indignation towards Catherine is well deserved and I was happy to see that he stood up for his hospital. I think taking it out on Jackson was a misstep- I believe Jackson will be on Richards side. He has always put the needs of the hospital above the board, in spite of the other doctors being completely clueless about real world business. I was very happy to see Jackson and April working it out. I like them together. Glad to see Amy. She was whacko bugs in Private Practice until the last season, then became a pretty good character. The Bailey thing will blow up in her face, and Stephanie will get the backlash for not reporting it I'm afraid.
  23. I am hoping they get there first , but I think they have to use it this leg, so they will be minimally impacted unless they get lost again. I am torn between them or the Brenchels for the win. I think they are playing a solid game this time, with no drama.
  24. the dogs were so cute! I think Brenchel is running a good race. I don't care for them, but I am pulling for either them or the Cowboys, only because everyone else bugs the crap out of me. The alliance was dumb...did I actually hear the afghanimals say they were going to wait for the girls?! I think allying with the country girls and D and C is a great strategy to win, but they have to beat the Cowboys and Brenchel, which they can't do if they are waiting for the lost and clueless. And I don't get the feeling that D and C give a damn about the alliance unless it benefits them...they won't wait for anyone.
  25. @CleoCaesar- I was hoping they could work it out, figure out how to manage a multi-belief household, and raise children that are able to see all of the possibilities lol. But oh yeah- this is Shonda, and either April or Jackson will be in bed with someone else in the trailers for next season.
