I got the chance to catch up on the other threads while watching the episode, so there is that. I'm honestly sad that Vigilante isn't Pike just so they can link him to Dinah. My first thought was, oy, another meta. I get that's the only way he could have survived, but I am less than thrilled about this development to say the least. Speaking of metas, Dinah chose very weird times to use her power. First she used it while in her everday outfit, and then didn't once she changed into her BC garb. What the...? Is she trying to get caught by Watson? I will say that most of her scene telling the team was well played. Then it went back to bad when she was venting to Dig later on. JH really has pronounced highs and lows in her delivery. Plus, in that scene she took the time to change into work out clothes, but then had low heeled booties on? Why, Dinah, why? It's so surprising that Joe turned to the life of organized crime after being used as cover for his dad's murder jaunts. I'm shocked! To be fair, Slade does raise a goal getter. The kid is the head of the Jackals at the ripe old age of, what, 26 or 27? Yeah, not my favorite. Just because I think Slade is the wrong person for Oliver to gush with over Felicity. If you have to be there, just get the dirty work done and get out ASAP. On the other hand, I laughed that Slade took a cue from Felicity's playbook and drugged Oliver in order to keep him safe. I hope there is an actual narrative point to how bad and inappropriate for raising a child that place is and it changes when either Felicity moves in, Oliver and William move to the loft, or all three find new digs together.

And the hits keep on coming. I'm fully expecting for Hollywood to implode by the end of this calender year at the rate this is going. Former Mad Men Writer Starts Nonprofit After Alleged Harrasment I mean, Weiner gave off assholey vibes and has made his name writing offensive, abusive, sexist jerks, but he didn't need to embody them. If I can ask a favor. I can't read the whole article without a subscription, so if someone could copy paste it, or link another source, I'd appreciate it.

No idea, but I greatly enjoyed Agent Watson cutting off Dinah. Ah ah. ? I'm really glad she's back. Maybe Lyla can recruit her for ARGUS so she can pop up once in a while. Or she can go into the private sector and handle security for Felicity's rising company. Unless Felicity fulfills my wish and hires Dig.

John Diggle, who works personal security for the mayor! When did that happen? And will it please offer opportunities for John and Dig to interact outside the bunker?

Is anyone still watching This Is Us? I'm not finding it as engrossing as I did last season, but last week I came across a rerun while channel surfing, and there was Olivia. I forgot about how utterly annoying she was and realizing she's not there anymore immediately made this season better in my eyes. Also, I'm almost freaked out be how much I'm liking Toby this year.

Agent Watson could have worked. I really think the actress pops in the role, and the character could have filled that void where Lance used to be in the early seasons.

Here's my beef with this episode's Felicity. She's very much imitating Donna, doing the exact same stuff that Donna irritated her with. Exhibit A, the boas and tiara were more likely than not part of Donna's decor for the engagement party in season 4. Exhibit B, Felicity presuming the super weird dude was a stripper (in a fancy restaurant!) was very much like Donna's idea of playing pin the junk on the hunk. It's not that I mind this in Donna, it's that Felicity usually does. So it's a weird beat IMO, but not really significant overall.

I don't think I've seen that video. Cool. ?

Who's RF?

Oh, I like that. Personally, my mind immediately went in the same direction as @way2interested's. So, DR confirms why there were, from what I recall, zero sightings of Spartan on set during the crossover filming. Maybe Dig's injury takes him out for a bit?

I'm not sure where you're getting this, but they never broke up the Diggles. Last season, Lyla broke Diggle out of jail with Oliver early on, and then later in the season she and Dig had their annual disagreement over her work with ARGUS, while they were first trying and failing to stop Felicity and Helix from breaking out Cayden James, and then rescuing Oliver and Felicity from the bunker. So no, Audrey has never been made into a regular, but while her appearances are more sparse than I'd like, she's not inconsequential.

EBR will be at HVFF Portland as well.

This part is particularly surprising. I laughed at the male 18-34 part of the chart. There are the other shows all hanging out in the same range, and The Flash just springs up like... well.

Even if they do say no, I don't think either will be offended or the mood ruined because of it. The odds are in your favor.

That would actually make sense. Because I can't see how it can be argued that he wasn't ready to put an effort into his and Felicity's relationship when they were together.

Is it me or does she not look like herself in that photo?

I'm sorry, but what? Oliver fucked up big time with Felicity, but it was never his double life as a vigilante that was the problem. It was him being a near-sighted, easily manipulated dumbass. What is with the revisionist history in these reviews?

I'm with you on the rest, but, dude. Them's fighting words. Even if there was no Lyla (and there will always be Lyla), Diggle deserves better.

Probably, I didn't think to check the time difference.

DR is having a chat on FB tomorrow.
