  1. He was bullshitting her to freak her out and imply that she doesn’t survive. That’s my take on it.
  2. I don’t really remember the fight scenes these days unless somthing extraordinary happens. They all bleed togeher at this point. But I did notice his choice for the final battle, in that Oliver’s, Kara’s and Barry’s fights were each filmed in the tone of their own shows. Which, I guess good for Smth for familiarizing himself with the shows’ styles, but I found it choppy and distracting.
  3. Considering he threw away his first marriage of his own free will not too long ago, I don’t really see why he’s rushing toward that bouquet.
  4. I only watch Arrow save for some clips on Youtube if I hear there was something fun on the other shows, but I enjoyed most of the other characters as well. I really think they did a good job in that regard this year, in that you could follow everything even if you weren’t a regular viewer.
  5. Seeing as OTA apparently spied on them, I think it’s implied. I was thinking about her being late because Oliver messed up her hair and it took a while to get it right. Not aided by Donna pecking about details of married sex.
  6. Is Donna fanning herself over how hot Oliver and/or Dig are?
  7. I loved many of Oliver's lines from the crossover and SA's deliver. I'd add, I'm actually physically incapable of talking about anything else right now, and, Now she's pro-wedding. I am absolutely certain that there are more, but I'm blanking on them right now.
  8. You're right! And it's the first time they did so for a formal occasion this season.
  9. I find it odd for brief moments that Noah is there like a proud papa while being an absentee father and a fugitive from justice. Then I get distracted by how gorgeous Felicity looks and Oliver's dumb face. Also, Dig is right there next to Oliver. Toast! It's definitely wedding dressy.
  10. With all the fathers and sons narratives, Marty and Jax's was very effective. Even though in all honesty, I don't think the actor playing Jax was very good in those scenes, they got me. And it was lovely how they included examples of both romantic and familial love in the crossover. And Ray and Leo were a nice addition. They got more physical in one ep than Curtis and Paul ever did, didn't they? Speaking of familial love, odd that they didn't at least have Sara mention maybe seeing her Dad after his evil gangbanger (™ Mick Rory) tried to have her executed. One thing I loved about Earth X is how the resistance gathered in the bunker, like this is a space where people gather across universes to try to make their world a better place. Would have loved to see FelicityX there, but I still very much appreciated her always putting up a fight. I still don't get some basics about Earth X. 1) Whatever about the evil marriage, but why is EvilOliver in charge, and not EvilKara? 2) What is Leo looking for on this earth when his Ray goes back to Earth X? I mean, the scenes with Mick were great, let it out, buddy, heh. Still, I don't get it. 3) Why IS Ray going back without even trying to contact the family Leo mentioned? 4) What made Earth X Quentin British? Is next year's crossover finally going to be the one where everyone gathers to ream Barry for his horrible choices? Sure, time travelling, dimension hopping, murdering psychopath, just go! I can't even stand to look at you! Seriously, they could have dopplegangers from various planets showing up for this occassion, because they'll probably get Thawne wrecking havoc on them in the following year.
  11. So, the Ray is from Earth 1? I don't get why, according to spoilers, he stays on Earth X, and Cold crosses over to Earth 1? Also, I'd imagine every earth thought they were Earth 1.
  12. What i'm loving here is that apparently Felicity and Iris apparently don't get captured, they get stuck at Star Labs and do their best to hold down the fort. I feel like it's them and Stein and Jax that are anchoring the whole thing emotionally. So, the lesson about love that Oliver learns is not to push? He comes to terms with Felicity not wanting to get married and decides being together is enough, and then she throws him a curveball and proposes on the spot?
  13. I think it went, Oliver’s ten times the man Hitler ever was.
  14. It’s not commendable, but it does feel understandable. At least right now it does.
  15. What’s the deal with Sonuvabitch? At first it was confusing, then just annoying as the post went on. Okay, that actually is a pretty good reason for Rene’s split with OTA, and I suppose Curtis and Dinah join him due to being pissed for OTA suspecting them. Aw, awestruck Oliver and a first dance. I wonder how they got in touch with Noah. Thea better get even with BS. She woke up from a coma for this?! ?
  16. Or somebody else takes over control of ARGUS by then, either because Lyla resigns or is pushed out. I refuse to accept anything worse.
  17. I must have missed or forgotten that one. Thanks.
  18. I’ve just been thinking about this OTA/NTA divide. I can imagine how Curtis and Dinah might splinter off, but what about Rene? He’s really been pretty mellow and cool this year, what prompts him? I’d say it’s just a sense of connection with the newer generation, but he’s spending most of his time with Oliver really, and seems to respect him.
  19. One thing I enjoyed about this episode is how quickly Dig and Oliver kissed and made up. Considering they have been on the outs for weeks or months (depending on which part of the season they fell out), it made me feel mushy to see them basically resolve it with, I love you more. No, I love you more, by the time the episode wrapped. Plus, it’s consistent with how Oliver and Felicity resolved their disagreement in 604. They fought, made up and Oliver came to lend a helping hand. It was echoed perfectly with Dig in this episode. Are they actually, dare I say it, consciously going for consistent characterzation?
  20. Did Arrow even hit a 0.4 before this? I’m not sure. Great call on airing on Thanksgiving. Although Supernatural took an even bigger hit. Their ratings are higher than Arrow’s, but there’s a bigger drop in comparison to their norm, no? Maybe put this experiment to rest after this year.
  21. I can’t speak of Iris, but does Felicity really qualify as keeping getting kidnapped? I can think of four villains that took her. Slade - part of a set up, and she played a crucial role in taking him down; Cooper - she practically dealt with him herself; and DD and Chase who also took other people, so it’s not like Felicity got herself into trouble.
  22. I’m hoping the Autnie bit was Aunt Thea bleeding together. But I was bummed about how empty that scene felt. It should have been great. Oliver with the family he’s building with Felicity and William, his sister finally awake and his found brother all in one place. And yet... It just made me fondly remember season 3scenes of all things. One, Oliver and Roy showing up for dinner at Dig and Lyla’s, and two, the Diggles having Felicity and Thea over during Oliver’s walk on the dark side. Both of those were more emotionally satisfying, and the first one didn’t last a minute. The components were all there in this case, yet it somehow all fell apart. Honest to God, I laughed out loud when Cayden mentioned his son. But in all seriousness, this is supremely lazy. Not only have they done this ad nauseum, they had a new storyline for Cayden right there. What if it was being held by ARGUS that made him snap? That could have delved into interesting issues of handling threats. I really didn’t get why Oliver insisted on that. William calls Felicity and Raisa by their first names, he himself called Dig Mr Diggle, it’s not like he approached him with, dude. They did, Helix Initiative. It was as Oliver was being led away. Which I think was one of this episode’s better decisions. The circumstance made sense for him to make the switch, he was still calling him Oliver at the food drive, and it didn’t draw attention to itself. It was just presented as fact. The circumstances of witnessing his father getting arrested prompted William to acknowledge Oliver as his family and address him as such. I liked it.
