What are you watching?

No. He didn’t say anything ugly about her either, he just didn’t mention her. It was CH who brought her and Mavi up, and was very complimentary. Since CH obliquely refers to his divorce, I finally reached the conclusion that this came about because he and SA started talking about that this weekend. And I guess SA might have tried to offer help by sharing his experience, so that was very fresh in his mind and this interview/public oversharing happened.

This I didn't know. Or fogot. Dude.

From what I recall, she was the primary breadwinner. Which doesn’t mean he didn’t contribute, but I think this comment is more about his pride taking a hit than what was actually the case at the time.

That’s where Colton jumped in and talked about how she’s the best person ever. The impression I’m getting (supported by absolutely no evidence) is that he received some news about the ex, maybe that she’s pregnant or something. It just sounds like something set him off.

Good to hear, because I was going to ask whether it was normally this bad and non-sensical. I don’t mind whimsical, but this seemed like weird experimental theatre.

The weirdest part isn't what he says, it's that he brings it up out of the blue. They were talking about something completely unrelated and he just brings up Rosenbaum and his first marriage. Overall it's a really hard interview to follow, they just hop all over the damn place. At a point I wondered whether it was horribly edited, but I think that's just how it went. Also, if you happened to miss it, they're on a fucking boat. Couldn't someone have slipped Colton a Dramamine?

I can't say I'm surprised about his comments about his ex. He definitely gives off a vibe whenever he mentions her that he's still not over that relationship.
-
He doesn't seem to mind about Camille regularly drunk driving, so I guess he doesn't bother with stuff like that.

It was this episode. She noticed a blood stain or what looked like one under the bed. I'm pretty sure Richard admonished Camille for trying to talk to a minor in the premiere when she was looking at John in the bar, didn't he? So I don't think there really is a noteable age difference there.

I think part of Camille’s interactions with Amma is falling into the abuse she experienced with Adora. On a completely unrelated note, this town is basically a large sweat stain, so what is with the cardigans, blazers and jackets all around? And I’m not even talking about Camille.

I do not remember that at all. I’m starting to wonder if I’m not paying close enough attention or if they have different cut episodes for the international market. For instance, I don’t remember Camille and Richard’s jaunt through the woods being set up. Did they reach an agreement last week or did they just skip that part? It seems weird if they decided to just skip that. I am feeling like there are some mistakes in editing. Both Camille’s and Amma’s clothing changed strangely this week. Or is it purposeful and they are trying to confuse viewers? Going back to Alan, this episode painted him in a more sympathetic light, trying to mark Camille’s birthday, calling Adora on her bullshit, showing signs of life in general. Then he ends the episode ominously with the episode indicating that he may well rape Adora.

Alice showed she didn’t cut below three inches above her knee. From that I assumed that Camille also probably limited her cutting at first. The college years are when I imagine she started cutting more of herself, likely because she ran out of skin that was more easily covered.

Wasn't the nurse shown dethorning the roses? I definitely got the impression it was because they were a cutting hazard. Which just paints another stroke in Adora's characterization.

Just finished the book and my God, that entire town must be inbred. They are so crazy. I almost laughed out loud when it was revealed that Amma's name was actually Amity. Adora, Amity, Joya. Nice irony there. And it makes Camille and Marian stand out like sore thumbs. And clearly paint them as victims there. Someone in the episode thread actually caught the vibe of what was going to happen between Camille and John. I have to admit, I had no clue until it was almost happening. But man, Camille is so fucked up with how she sees sex in general. I don't think the scars are the only reason Richard peaced out. I actually get why she was upset with him for pumping her for information. I don't think she would have been as much if it didn't involve her family. On the other hand, I also sided with his blow up about her not getting tested when she suspected she was being poisoned. In fact, I assumed she was going to the hospital for that very reason.
-
I don't think Adora needs any logical reason to be pissed at Camille. Camille speaks? She's mad. Camille is quiet? She's mad. Camille breathes? She's mad. I imagine she'd be mad at Camille if Camille wound up killed.

I have the impression that it's very recent. I want to say there was something in the first episode indicating Camille just came back to work when she got this story, but I can't remember what.

I finally saw the promo for the new Roswell, although I hesitate to call it new. How did it get picked up? It’s the same storyline and the same characters, only it unfolds when they’re 10+ years older than in the original. When they first mentioned high school being ten years ago, I thought it was a sequel of sorts, but this is the same damn thing.

Thanks for this, I was just wondering about that yesterday.

I think there were separate casting sides for that character.

Better and better.

Good memory.

I thought Camille was wearing a bathing suit and that was after her swim in the woods where some boys were creeping.
