When you realize you're travelling the day after the finale airs and you won't be around the boards for the discussion, and you react thusly.

What are you thinking? Do share.

That's adorable and correct. Oliver is screwed if they get kids like that when the day comes for him to say no. Lord Mesa's post-episode offering is entertaining as well.
-
I was actually thinking more along the lines of the rest of the team getting sucked up into the nexus. Definitely connected.

I find it... interesting that he's promoting TMNT and they chose two Arrow related questions for sneak peeks. Warning to people who avoid spoilers: Don't open the first one. It's vague, but telling at the same time.

I will quite frankly be shocked if anyone but Oliver beats Darhk. I don't think he'll necessarily kill him, but possibly drain him of his powers some way and thereby neutralize him. However, it's always been Oliver who has the final fight with the big bad, two of whom he was willing to kill, one whom he outwitted. As he's at the center, I expect the same this year. I wouldn't be against it being someone else, though. Who knows, maybe Ruve knocks off Darhk in the end. It's been implied (even if not all that successfully executed) that she's a Lady Macbeth figure. Speaking of Darhk, I was thinking how he was actually doing Team Arrow a solid by getting rid of his accomplices. Saves them the tedious clean up once they inevitably beat him.

Why was she touching his chest? I mean, if it's to feel him up, I won't judge.

OMG, their bond started early on! Remembering Dig's attitude towards Laurel in the first two seasons I find this legitimately funny.

I wasn't really talking about the fans, I'm honestly sort of stumped as to how much she had to do during that summer. I'll read through the summaries at wikia later.
-
How much did she have to do seeing as she wasn't either BC nor on the team in any other capacity as far as I know? I mean, I remember people mentioning she was kidnapped by the guy who torched the Queen Mansion, but that's it.

I do think that people who say SC is the ally got it right in one. They don't need to power Oliver to fight Darhk, they can stand up to the Ghosts. And the faith they put in Oliver when they do just that makes him see that there is plenty of good in him.

I'm honestly confuseed as to why Carter not remembering her in this lifetime would be a problem. How did he come back anyway. I know he should be resurrected, but I thought he would be born somewhere. From what I gathered about Kendra, she was born however many years ago to a Kansas family. She didn't just spring into existence as an adult.

Knock on wood.

Lyla fit in as well. I don't want her as a permanent team member, but working with them from time to time just feels right. While on the topic of Oliver living in the lair, I did not catch this: It's sad and touching but he really has to learn that he is enough before this season ends, that he can enjoy jogs around the neighborhood and being the hot goofy neighbor who brings the best dishes to neighborhood cookouts even when he's on his own. Also, that journal is totally coming into play in the next three episodes.

Oh. Could be. Given 409, Nazi isn't too far off.
-
I also cheered when they split off to pair up Felicity and Dig, and Oliver and Lyla. Too bad Lyla was unconscious. I get that it had to be done for the Rubicon reveal and so that Oliver was there after Dig shot Andy and not her. I don't even mind on a larger scale. I just want more Oliver and Lyla scenes. Having the four of them together at the end also had me spinning headcanons about double dates and family dinners and them pairing off to roll their eyes at their respective partners.

The dress she was wearing at the end of this episode and will, according to the promo, also be wearing at the beginning of the next one would also have been a more practical choice. At least she could move her legs. Maybe they throw in a PT thing in those episodes as well and that's why she's dressed the way she is? So we got confirmation that Rubicon is a metaphor for the flood, but since DD's Wysteria Lane is under SC and presumably under the bay, is it possible they actually manage to flood that? I'm just throwing this out there but what if DD's kid isn't really his kid at all? Like if she actually died who knows how long ago or is on life support and this one with Ruve is just a stand in that they will use as a vessel once Genesis does whatever they want it to finally do. She was in a skirt when she and Oliver went flying through QC windows. Don't give up hope.

Are they actually tying up Dig's lying to Lyla with his advice to Oliver? Because he boiled down Felicity dumping Oliver to him having a kid and was missing that it was the lying that was the problem. Here, he sees killing Andy as the problem and then lies to Lyla. If they actually bring these two threads together, kudos. Even if Andy was playing him at the beginning, nice maneuvering getting him handcuffed. I also enjoyed Dig just ramming into that fence and knocking Andy down. Top notch. Do you think Argus has a school for their agents' kids? Because one would not want Sara among others when she starts forming sentences. What did you do over the weekend, class? -Oh, just riding shot gun while aunt Felicity mowed someone down. Same old, same old. On reflection, I think my only problem with the episode was the laziness of Oliver using magic. Oh, there's your tattoo and think happy thoughts. Done. I mean, Fortuna is an immortal, why was she in such a rush? It makes sense with all the themes and beats they keep bringing up, but more thought should have been put into it. Is that exterior location where Andy first got away from Dig the gulag from 206? Felicity needs to use the technology from that truck on the lair now. Proximity sensor and blowing up intruders? Come on, that's totally in both her and Oliver's wheelhouse. Maybe Lyla intended it as a wedding present?

Felicity: This is by far the coolest high roller room I've ever seen. Fortuna: Special brand of Nazi loco that one is.

I really need someone to zoom the heck in on that last exchange. How about this parallel?

What dress with prancing horses? I liked the top from the back, something was off from the front, though.

I hope you appreciate this, because it took a lot of work to track it down. It was taken on April 14, during the filming of the finale.
