  1. Reading these comments makes me think that it's better that I haven't read the books. I really enjoy the show and have (almost) nothing to criticize. Okay with one exception: Elizabeth is the character I find to be really boring and I'm not interested in her at all. If I didn't watch the show live I would ffw all of her scenes. Demelza is great and I cheered her on in this last episode when she let Ross have it. He is such an a...hole right now and I hope she lets him suffer. I can't believe that he hasn't apologized once! Suggesting that Demelza should just let it play out took the cake. Right now I would totally root for a show called "Demelza".
  2. Well the cult may not be in Nebraska or Africa but it exists in Germany. There was a movie based on a true story on public television in 2010 and it had to be shot in secrecy because the film makers were so afraid of the cult and their legal team. The man's story, the movie is based on, shows that they use intimidation, hard labor for almost no money, stalking and harassment here in Germany. The man lost custody of his children because his ex-wife and Scientology managed to alienate the children from their father and hired the best possible lawyers. All that happens here in Europe far away from the glamor of Hollywood. Here is an article about the production process of the movie: Based on a True Story:TV Movie Portrays Dark Side of Scientology I think Scientology operates where people with money are. Maybe that's the reason why they don't do mission work in poorer parts of the world. Going back to the documentary. I had heard most of it before but the IRS stuff was new to me. To me it's unbelievable that they managed to manipulate this organization like they did.
  3. I prefer them a 100% to Rayna and Deacon. Ugh, this couple is so annoying and has way too much screen time. I would love it if they were gone. The total opposite: Juliette and Avery. I love and miss them. Avery singing to their daughter and being teary-eyed was beautiful and Juliette sitting in every scene was cute.
  4. In Germany the rating is 16+. I saw the movie yesterday and hated it. The only positive aspects were Dakota Johnson, the nice shots of Seattle and the landscape and the music. Jamie Dornan was awful, the sex scenes terribly akward and during the whole movie I was rooting for Ana to run far, far away.
  5. So happy for Hayden and Wladimir! I really like the name but I wonder why US and People left out the little girl's middle name? I have never heard "Evdokia" but think the name is gorgeous.
  6. Thank you! I only remember her mentioning it but totally forgot the storyline with the partner leaving her.
  7. As someone who only watched the end of this episode to finally see Gemma die, the actual death was disappointing. Gemma got to say her goodbyes and make the final decision. I hate it! She should have suffered. And then Jax: Manipulated by mommy - again - and then of course sleeping with Wendy not only in the house he shared with Tara but also their bed. (I only read about that one. I stopped watching when I saw Wendy in her white nightgown. Sutter makes it just so easy.) Jax is pathetic and disgusting and I want him to die next. A lot of people want Wendy to take care of the boys. I don't. I want them to end up with a loving, normal adoptive family with lots of money for extensive therapy. Oh, and isn't Wendy a lesbian? I remember her telling Gemma about it.
  8. lol I was watching the show waiting to finally hear to full story and nothing! Come on! That's my only reason for watching the show. So according to Kendra on this youtube teaser for we have to wait till April to hear what Hank told her.
  9. Well I still believe they were together. I don't think CT's close friends and family members would talk about CT losing his "girlfriend" if that weren't true. CT's post also said everything that needed to be said IMO. However I think it's strange that people magazine would say they weren't dating with quotes from Alicia and on the same day e!, the network Alicia is working for, publishes an article talking about CT and his grief over losing his girlfriend. Diem will be honored with a MTV special called "We <3 Diem".
  10. I haven't watched the show since Tara was murdered but tuned in after I heard Jax would finally find out the truth. I guess I didn't miss much. The show is still awful and I missed Tara terribly. After hearing Jax saying "I still love her", I'm convinced Gemma will keep living. Sutter won't let her die unless it's the last scene of the show. I can't believe Jax and Wendy play house and that she totally took over Tara's role. Ugh. And the worst part? Jax really said "Take care of OUR boys". Unbelievable. For me it takes more to be a "mom" then giving birth and being married to the dad. She almost killed Abel and then left. Tara was the mom who took care of him and raised him. She is MOM.
  11. Tears - so many tears. Now I have to watch their story again. It's still unreal to me that she is really gone. She is only one year older than me and I can't believe how much she had gone through. It really makes me revalue my life and remind me how easy I have had it in comparison. BTW This is the link to see all the CT videos from the vevmo forum.
  12. I have never posted on here before but I loved watching Diem on the show and followed her passionate fight against cancer closely. She was such a strong person and I hope she knew how many people were inspired by her love for life and her story. I am so unbelievably sad that she isn't here anymore and my heart goes out to her family, friends and CT. Diem and CT have been one of my favorite TV couples ever and I don't even want to think about what he is going through now. On another board posts from CT's friends and family about Diem's death were linked and seeing the pics and reading about their relationship made me tear up. I really believe they were "it".
  13. ANNET MAHRENDU! Love, love, love her and she was great! Besides that I liked every Meredith scene and especially seeing "little Meredith" again. Besides that I still strongly dislike Bailey and I'm not interested in Maggie. Hopefully Jo and Alex and April and Jackson will have more screen time in the future.
  14. I bought the book and like it. I especially enjoy the pictures and whole design of the book and the stories are nice. The health and fashion tips aren't anything revolutionary but I didn't expect that. As someone who likes books like that (I also own the Lauren Conrad ones), I'm happy with what I got.
  15. Hated it. It may be because I hate Owen and therefor Christina and Owen with a passion but that episode sucked.
  16. I think Lagertha might be my favoritecharacter on television at the moment. She is just the best. I loved how all the women of the town went up to her and left Aslaug all by herself. She has her own fanclub! Hopefully her leaving doesn't mean we won't see her in the upcoming episode.
