  1. In the JFK scene, did I hear Eric greet Leida’s father as “Doc”?
  2. I can’t believe nobody has mentioned the two enormous snowman dolls in Colt’s house. Maybe looking at them is supposed to psychologically make you feel cooler? Boy, Reina really packed light for this trip. She’s getting a lot of use out of that flowered wrap dress.
  3. You sound really wealthy. Princess Toast, of course!
  4. Was she working in America I thought Olga came here as a Summer employee at the beach in Ocean City MD
  5. Doesn’t an authentic Philly Cheesesteak have to have orange/yellow Cheez Whiz on it?
  6. I just can't get over someone wanting to sleep with such a winner. I can see how a young girl from Russia, working in the US for the Summer, could be charmed by a "cool" (at least in her eyes) American guy at the beach. now why can't I get the song, "Summer Lovin'" from Grease out of my head...
  7. No, the Reading Terminal Market is in center city Philly, not in Reading, PA which is a couple of hours away. It’s named for the Reading Railroad’s Terminal that now a huge indoor food market Welcome to the Reading Terminal Market. One of America’s largest and oldest public markets, housed since 1893 in a National Historic Landmark building, the Market offers an incredible selection of locally grown & exotic produce, locally sourced meats and poultry, plus the finest seafood, cheeses, baked goods, and confections. You’ll find everything you need to create a memorable meal, from cookbooks, to table linens, to kitchenware, to fresh cut flowers, and more. Plus the widest variety of restaurants under one roof.
  8. Accordingly to this article, there are several vendors at RTM who serve Philly cheesesteaks. I think Eric went for the big bucks ($11+) for the first one in the list. Now I’m getting hungry. Could cheesesteaks be added to this season’s watching menu? https://www.phillymag.com/foobooz/2016/03/04/the-best-cheesesteaks-at-the-reading-terminal-market/
  9. I've also been thinking of changing my screen name to Princess Toast. I'm keeping track, during last week's episode, that commercial was on FOUR times (and that mother STILL doesn't have any idea what's in Princess Toast, although it's pretty obvious)! I'm pretty sure they're in Reading Terminal Market
  10. and didn't Leida looked THRILLED when he said that! I still can't get over Eric's presenting that cheese steak for four of them to share like he expected the "miracle of the loaves and fishes."
  11. Maybe her ex? She could easily change it to Leidanieric
  12. I’d like to believe they’re not rich, but then how do you explain the sister and both parents flying to the USA to visit. That costs money. Maybe Tarik was their travel agent and booked them cheap flights with five stopovers
  13. Especially since going to JFK from Indonesia REALLY overshoots Wisconsin and I can't imagine there weren't cheaper and more direct flight options.
  14. I was on TWOP for less than a week before I got reprimanded for naively feeding a troll and violating the "boards on boards" rule. I was so mortified, I even lost sleep about it! Miss Alli was the Moderator Without Pity. Drogo is much more reasonable about keeping things on track and not allowing anyone to be bullied while still giving us enough leeway to have fun without the scolding.
  15. I definitely saw a mouse crawl up the cord behind REYNA who was across from Leida and Alless at breakfast. I tried to photograph it but couldn’t get a clear photo and I admit it kind of looks like a knee or a slug! I’ll rewatch later and post exactly what Reyna is saying when the mouse is behind her on rewatching. Eric is seated next to Reyna at breakfast across from Leida. There is a brown leather chair behind Reyna and a flat screen TV. The shiny reflection on the leather is what I originally mistook for a cord. The scene cuts back and forth between the two sides of the table and Leida’s TH. When Reyna (alone onscreen), is saying ...”and my family is also coming here...” SOMETHING is briefly shown moving up the chair then turning out of sight. Photo to set the scene and also show Eric’s forehead crease, but Eric is not onscreen with the mouse, only Reyna is. “back and to the left...”
  16. Even though Leida turned her nose up at the American Breakfast, the mouse appeared to be interested.
  17. Holy crap, you’re right! At 1:36 you can see the mouse on the cord behind Reyna!
  18. I was looking for the sub reddit page, too, but came upon this You Tube video. The way Eric goes on and on about these "pricey" and "expensive" watches they bought for Leida's parents, you'd think they were Rolex! I found the watch they bought her mother, $ 150 on Amazon and no way is it real gold. And, if her parents are so wealthy, wouldn't they already have good watches?
  19. Or “The Man with a Huge Ego Whose Scrotum is Average Sized.” TLC is known for their crossover shows.
  20. I'll bet Jay is thanking his lucky stars that he didn't have to romance an "ugly, fat or sloppy" American woman to get to the US like he said many Jamaican men do. He managed to snag a pretty (but desperate for love) young American woman to receive his daily dose of "The D."
  21. I did love the floral centerpiece! But you're right, that was somebody's parents' house.
  22. I'm going to replace my "Tiny-like-Darcey-Carrot-Cake" with "Princess Toast" this season for my live watching dessert, but I'll keep Roni on the menu!
  23. Maybe Colt grew a beard because he thought it would make him appear more masculine. He had a beard in the photos of when they met, maybe the airport scene was the first time Larissa had seen him without one, and afterwards she was sorry that she made him shave it. And the almost dainty eyeglass frames don't help!
  24. "No, darlin’." Colt wouldn’t buy her boobies even if they were $20 from a vending machine. But I think she’s a demanding Grade A bitch, so I love it when he calmly dashes her hopes
