That's an excellent point. I wonder if Fernanda's parents are still married but he's been working in the US and sending money home to his wife and children in Mexico, which is fairly common, or if he's estranged from the family. Could he have not wanted to appear on the show because he's here illegally? It's certainly hypocritical of Fernanda to criticize Jon for not being close to his mom if she doesn't have a relationship with her father by choice. Isn't it interesting that both Fern and Jay have a parent who was already in the US? What are the ramifications of that if the K1 Visa falls through? I suspect "things are gonna get a whole lot stoopid-er."

My point about the grandmother watching the baby is because we've been told Olga was raised in an orphanage. I've read the story about how Olga's parents went crazy and murdered her sister and I guess they're both in prison or the nuthouse, but where was this Grandma then? Or could it be Steven's grandmother who has gone to Russia with him?

I was confused when Olga said her “grandmother was watching the baby.” Has she ever mentioned her before?

I totally agree! Nevertheless, they probably will be the ones we're expected to watch in another season along with some of the previous season's couples (Evelyn/David, Elizabeth/Andreii, David/Annie come to mind). None of them are making "must see TV" for me.

It just seems to me that all the couples who are making news since the Tell All (Ashley/Jay, Fernanda/Jon, Eric/Leida, Colt/Larissa) are doing it in a last ditch effort to be relevant and stay in the public eye. None of them will qualify for a spin-off so their 90 Day careers are dead in the water. Steven/Olga and Kalani/Asuelu are all keeping relatively low profiles and I can see them being invited back for "Happily Ever After" or "What's Next"
