This episode made me laugh more than any sitcom I've sampled recently. 6.5 Million people watched the premier. It isn't for everyone. No show is. I think the acting and writing are fantastic.

I'm happy that the ratings for this show are decent. I'm really enjoying it. I've liked Sarah Wayne Callies since Prison Break and don't have the Lori hatred thing going on to keep me from watching.

I've seen the series, and much prefer it. They have better experts and more testing. They are more focused on compatibility and not on looks. The one successful couple would never be considered telegenic enough for American TV. And the season was only 3 episodes!

You can't be color blind and get a driver's license (at least in my state), but you can be color blind and get an MD. I think white tags with a number on them would be a better system than color coding. You wouldn't want a doctor who needs a second opinion about what color tag to put on you.

I'm fine with watching unsympathetic characters as long as they are complex and interesting and played by fine actors like the ones on this show. The other team captain is Regina King's son and I wouldn't want to piss her off either.

If not having a close relationship with your parents is a deal breaker, then that should have been discussed much earlier in the process. On the other hand, once you sign those papers allowing the producers to use footage of you in any way they want ( even if it's just a Skype interview), you should realize that you might end up on TV and tell your family and friends about it.

They stole the whole idea for this show from Talking Dead. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, just not original.

I put MAFS Atlanta into a search engine looking for new info. I scrolled down and found this, which cracked me up. ( I edited the ad into one sentence ) "Mafs is a relatively mature nonclassifiable home business in Atlanta, GA." They may want to change their name.

I watched this just because of Damian Lewis but I didn't think I'd like the subject matter. I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed the story even though I don't understand all of the financial details. As long as they stay focused mostly on the characters, I'm going to keep watching. One thing I really didn't understand is why the buying the beach house would be such a big deal and make the front pages. Donald Trump owns 4or 5 expensive homes, and I don't see that being touted as proof that he isn't a "regular guy". LOL

Thank you. I heard her say this and wasn't sure if she said cool or cruel. Sam seems to find a way to denigrate Neil in every episode. So now he's a phony, and poor Sam doesn't know who he really is. Wouldn't it be obvious that the off camera personality is the real one? I wonder if she means he is cold to her.
