  1. The drop at the end of 5A was caused by the Merida episode. I'm not sure why anyone would think it was the Dark Hook storyline that caused it. And it wasn't really surprising there was a drop between "Shattered Sight" and "H&V" because most of the conflict was resolved in the former.
  2. I remember thinking at the time that "Going Home" felt like a series finale.
  3. I hope I like this, because--whether OUAT ends in May 2016 or May 2017--I need something new to pick up now that everything I've watched the past 5 years will be dead and buried. Can't say I'd be interested in a theme park show. I just can't get into watching half-hour comedies weekly. Not that they're bad, but I can only watch sitcoms in marathons.
  4. I'm glad Candace wasn't there for the Christmas discussion. Seems like this topic happens every year. I don't think any of the other women understood what Whoopi was saying. Did she even know what she was saying?
  5. No way is KAC going to pass up the chance to act superior.
  6. Today was a great show. I LIVED for Sunny mopping the floor with spinning top Jedilyingliarwholies by putting her previous lies, excuses, manipulation, bullshit, etc. flat on the table for everyone to see.
  7. I'm worried she may die this season, too, especially if they get a 7th season and budget cuts are required. I'd rather see Belle, Henry, or Charming go, but I think Zelena would be more likely to get the ax, unfortunately. The only good thing they carried over from 5B was Belle's interactions with Zelena. Since Zelena is obviously not going to be included in the main gang's problem-solving efforts like I'd hoped going by the 5 finale, she should at least continue to be friends with Belle. And hopefully Belle will benefit from being around a woman who isn't a complete doormat (in particular a woman who made Rumpel her bitch at least twice throughout the series). Come to think of it, is Zelena the only character on this show that Rumpel has never really been able to control? I guess Hook did put him on his deathbed once, but that's nothing compared to the way Zelena humiliated him and made him a subordinate in both 3B and 4B. I do like Regina, but Zelena was always much more in-control and empowered than her. Which is weird considering her initial plot motivation was jealousy.
  8. My worsts: 1 - 4.16 “Best Laid Plans,” 2 - 4.21-22 “Operation Mongoose,”3 - 2.19 “Lacey,” 4 - 5.06 “The Bear and the Bow,” 5 - 2.12 “In the Name of the Brother,” 6 - 3.07 “Dark Hollow,” 7 - 2.13 “Tiny,” 8 - 5.17 “Her Handsome Hero,” 9 - 5.15 “The Brothers Jones,” 10 - 3.14 “The Tower,” 11 - 5.09 “The Bear King,” 12 - 6.05 “Street Rats,” 13 - 2.07 “Child of the Moon,” 14 - 5.02 “The Price,” 15 - 1.05 “That Still Small Voice” Often I find that it's the episodes where the various love interests (Hook, Neal, Belle, Robin, Charming) play a heavy role that I hate. My favorites: 1 - 2.16 “The Miller’s Daughter,” 2 - 5.16 “Our Decay,” 3 - 1.18 “The Stable Boy,” 4 - 4.18 “Sympathy for the De Vil,” 5 - 3.20 “Kansas,” 6 - 5.09 “Birth,” 7 - 3.08 “Think Lovely Thoughts,” 8 - 3.11 "Going Home," 9. 3.15 “Quiet Minds,” 10 - 1.11 “Fruit of the Poisonous Tree,” 11 - 4.17 “Heart of Gold,” 12 - 3.19 “A Curious Thing,” 13 - 4.10 “Shattered Sight,” 14 - 2.8 “Into the Deep,” 15 - 1.8 “Desperate Souls,” 16 - 1.7 “The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter,” 17 - 5.07 “Nimue,” 18 - 6.09 “Changelings,” 19 - 3.16 “It’s Not Easy Being Green,” 20 - 3.06 “Ariel,” 21 - 2.17 “Welcome to Storybrooke," 22 - 3.09 "Save Henry," 23 - 1.03 "The Price of Gold," 24 - 6-4 "Strange Case," 25 - 1.20 "The Stranger," 26 - 2.15 "The Queen Is Dead," 27 - 3.02 "Lost Girl," 28 - 4.03 “Rocky Road,” 29 - 5.21 “Last Rites,” 30 - 3.12 “New York Serenade”
  9. To me, s/he's just arguing because others aren't accepting this supposed insider knowledge of internal ABC decisions at face value. Sorry, but this is the Internet, and we don't know you. I had no problems with the episode. But then I never wished for the AU in the first place. Most of the dissatisfaction is self-created by people who want the show to cater to one subset of fans' wishes and won't accept the show as it is.
  10. Yeah, yeah, and nobody has said that Once is still some kind of huge hit, so I'm not sure what you're arguing over at this point.
  11. I always thought Blake was going to be the endgame myself. Too bad. I didn't mind Henry as much as others do though.
  12. Designated Survivor is down to 1.1 in the demo. I'm guessing it'll be at .07 by the end of Spring (not much different--maybe worse--than Once in its 6th season....).
  13. They say a lot of things that disguise the truth. With the way ABC always promotes the show with a picture of TEQ (and Emma/Rumpel), I imagine that Dungey asked them to find a way to bring TEQ back since Regina is such a different character this far into the series. She apparently asked them to get rid of the split half structures in order to make the season more like S1, and bringing back the villain of S1 (TEQ) and introducing LoUS to create a similar episodic feel as S1 falls in pretty much the same territory.
  14. Thankfully, we know Joy Behar has enough confidence not to care what any of these Republican nutjobs say about or do to her. There was another story last week about Bill Cunningham calling her an ugly broad who needed to be muzzled. This is what happens to liberals who refuse to silence themselves during Republican administrations, since I remember it being a regularity under Bush and no doubt will be worse under Trump. She has a contract for these next three years, but I worry after reading that ABC is changing their programming since Trump became president that she may end up getting cut once her contract expires for the same reason she was cut at HLN--her politics (despite the fact she was second-highest in the ratings on HLN and she saved The View when she returned after it was tanking in the ratings following O'Donnell's exit the previous Spring). If something like that were to occur, I would gladly quit this show for good, and there's nobody new they could get to lure me back.
  15. This is why I was so annoyed at the end of 5 about all the network meddling. I wanted the show to go out whatever way the writers decided without getting caught up in a storyline egged on a by executives in the possible final season, like we now have with the Land of Untold Stories to get rid of A/B halves, the return of the Evil Queen (for marketing's sake), and Aladdin thrown in there for extra measure.
  16. I agree. Jedi is the worst of the three.
  17. I thought so, too. She was good for a bit role. Jennifer Hudson was the star of the show.
  18. When they said Candace had a big announcement, I hoped it would be she’s leaving. The same thing happened with Raven. But I thought, “Nah, we’ll never be that lucky.” YAAAAAAY!!! I don’t hate Candace though. She seems nice outside of political discussions, but she was never a good fit for this show. Now there’s just Paula left of the group being “phased out.”
  19. It's because the spotlight has been put on the xenophobia (anti-Semitism, homophobia, racism, you name it, they got your fix) propagated by Breitbart news because of Steve Bannon being connected to Trump, and Jedidiah wants to keep from being caught up in the smear. "I didn't get paid by them," yeah, but you wrote for them. And I'm sure it was more than Mother's Day posts or whatever flimsy lie she pulled out of her ass on the fly today. I couldn't help thinking today while she was talking that I can't believe we have one of these monsters plopped in a chair on daytime television. But don't worry, everyone, she's a Libertarian! lol
  20. I think it has more to do with the fact that he performed last. Rarely has the person who performed last lost the Twitter Save. That's why Aaron survived so long, and how Adam got two people into the finale. And so true about The Voice always being a second chance show. They also had Frenchie Davis, Tony Lucca, Javier Colon, Christina Grimmie, Jordis Unga, Judith Hill, Paula DeAnda, etc.
  21. Can anyone imagine how different the conversation about fake news (propagated via blogs, Twitter, and Facebook) would've went if that lunatic, Raven, had been at the table? She should be required to view that segment after how much she prattled on about how she gets all her news from social media. She is a perfect example of the dumbing down of America. I'm glad Sunny refused to allow Jedidiah to paint Mike Pence as some kind of saint. He's just as bad as Trump--the only difference is he can maintain a sense of calm. The policies and behaviors would be largely the same. And he's much more vile than Trump when it comes to LGBT issues. Thank you, Sara, for bringing it up. She must have a LGBT relative/friend who informed her because she never mentioned it before Nov. 8th.
  22. I can't believe Christian was the one cut from Alicia's team and not We. Maybe We could win since all of the other 3 have country ties and may be splitting votes to a degree. I'm still hoping it's Billy, but I'd take We over Sundance or Josh. Such a shame Christian didn't make it.
  23. I generally think the quality was okay for most of the series if you ex out 2B and 4B. I don't think 6A has been great, but it wasn't as bad as either of those, imo.
  24. I didn't mind the episode, personally. Even though I knew people here would be in an uproar about AU Snow and Charming being killed, I couldn't help but laugh at the way the actors kind of plopped over on the couch, like they were Muppets. lol I enjoyed the scene with Charming and Hook. I low-key ship them..... I just hope this is the end of TEQ and the next half is focused on Jafar/Gideon.
  25. The Blue Fairy is one of my biggest disappointments with this show. There's so much they could've done with her over the years. She could've been a positive magical counterpart to Rumpel and misc. villains. Instead, she might as well be without magic for all the good she can do.
