  1. It's gotten to the point where I audibly groan when Keeley pops up in a scene. Even while explaining about going to Norway to see the aurora borealis she came off as dumb as a box of rocks and I just wanted her to be gone already. If she does get back with Roy, and I could not care less if she does or doesn't at this point, changing her back to the smart, savvy, fun Keeley Roy fell in love with will give the viewers whiplash. As someone posted above, this episode was energized because KJPR was NOT a focus.
  2. And the always popular and utterly sickening "he's my work husband/she's my work wife." GAH! Brava to your whole post!
  3. I don’t like the tired trope of a career woman must give up all else to be successful in her career. It’s been suggested that much of Midge’s career trajectory is fashioned off of Joan Rivers. Joan had a successful marriage, Edgar killing himself not withstanding, a wonderfully diverse life outside of stand up, and a loving relationship with her daughter. I’m sad they decided to take this the Mommie Dearest route with Midge. The writers seem to have gotten themselves into a place they don’t know how to write around by giving Midge kids in the first place.
  4. Brava! Love your entire post and could not agree more. Especially love the above section and your description of Michelle as nicey/cruel because that’s it exactly. Since the start with that character the actress has played her with combo harried/faux compassionate look on her face and it’s been all about HER needs. I’ve never felt she had one iota of true concern for Ted. Sadly, I predict you are correct in how the end will play out and what an uncreative, disappointing wrap up that will be.
  5. It seems like it has been much, much longer between seasons. When I looked on Wiki and it said the last season ran just a year ago, I thought it was a typo!
  6. But she did. They all went to his house and shamed him with signs to apologize.
  7. I don't know what to say about this episode....or this season. Unless or until the writers pull all the pieces together, I have been left with too many "what was the point of that" moments. Henry's bullying, Nate and the model (c'mon, we ALL knew that wasn't gonna work. The real surprise would have been if it DID work.), even Zava. I miss the core crew and what is happening in their lives. I need more Sam, Jamie, Roy, Trent, Colin, etal and what is happening in their lives. Need much less Henry and Michelle - like zero would be preferable - and much, much less of the idiot formerly known as Keeley.
  8. Just to be clear, Jason and Olivia were never married. He served Wilde with court documents regarding child custody while she was on stage presenting her film Don't Worry Darling at CinemaCon 2022.
  9. Ronnie on the Crappens podcast says Luis looks like he smells a squirrel two blocks away. LOL. Now I can never unsee that.
  10. We’ve just got done reading the novel in book Club. Like most Dickens stories, even his grimmest, there is humor to be found. This production is humorless and unrelentingly grim.
  11. So, am I the only one watching this? The production quality is excellent as per usual for the BBC. The liberties taken with the story are questionable.
  12. I’m a dummy, what does CL stand for? I was thinking Championship League, but that can’t be right because that is below the Premiere, which they want to stay in, right?
  13. I agree. Have not liked Michelle from the very start; she can disappear from my TV screen and I would be very happy.........take her son with her too. That kid is a horrible actor. Is he related to a show runner or something 'cause I can't see them picking that kid from an audition. I am wondering if Trent himself is gay and that will play into Colin's coming out storyline. I don't "ship" Ted with anyone. I see no romantic chemistry or appeal between him and ANY of the female characters; Ted is just not that type of a character for me, it would be cringy to see him swooning over someone. I have become like Zava with so many "I" statements in this post! Apologies.
  14. It sounds like Paulie had/has AFib and he most likely had a cardiac ablation where the cardiologist goes in and "burns" the part of the heart causing the heart rhythm problem. I believe Eddie Judge had a similar procedure on OC. My husband had a cardiac ablation and while anything to do with the heart is scary as hell, the initial recovery is quick with the patient often leaving the hospital the same day. The carry on recovery takes a bit longer; the procedure can leave the patient feeling short of breath and a bit tired for days to weeks. There is really nothing Dolores could have done to help Paulie with his recovery once he was home, especially if like my husband he didn't want her just sitting around looking at him 24/7, so I don't fault her for going to her job. Which is what this show is.
  15. Bolded part above: And that is why it hurt Roy so much. They used to be so in-tune, Keeley would have known Roy was there even with her attention distracted. (Except for those times he popped up on her unexpectedly and scared the beejaysus out of her.)
  16. Nate abused him horribly all last season.
  17. I don’t think I have ever seen thirstier people on my TV than Joe and Melissa Gorga. I hope, but doubt, they feel mortified and ridiculous while watching this episode and seeing how they spun and dipped and twisted to keep their grievance with Tre alive. Two absolute fools.
  18. It's a tricky situation, for sure. Candiace kinda handled it the correct way when she told them to go ahead, she looked forward to reading the captions to see what they were saying when the shows aired. It gave Marisol and Alexia a heads up. Gizelle attempting to forbid the women from speaking their language was not a good look. She should have just honestly said. "I feel left out and wonder if you are talking about me." Which she did later when explaining about her daughters. It's human nature to immediately think you are being talked about when others are whispering or using another language. Throw in Gizelle's enlarged ego and........it gets messy.
  19. Thailand, Pepsi, and the fabulous house/estate is 100% wasted on these women. That’s all I’ve got after 3 episodes.
  20. YES! All the sno-globes were touching and telling. The CFO has been a lot of places, but she hasn't been able to really live any place. All she has are her sno-globes. I'm hoping for her to become a good ally for Keeley.
  21. I agree with you. And I’ll add: since about mid-season 2 I’ve not liked the Keeley character, how the writers have developed, or not, her. I feel she came off ridiculous in this episode; the direct opposite of Nate but equally as in over her head. Maybe that is the point.
  22. I was the same exact way! Thank you for confirming my thoughts!!!!
  23. Yes! As much as Ted’s positivity can be too much and border on toxic, he was right in how he handled Nate’s mean-spirited comments. That always really nettles a meanie when they want nothing more than you to strike back in the same way to show that they hurt you. I’m glad Ted is getting push back from many fronts, including his son, for his casual attitude towards winning; hope he takes heed.
  24. If she lives on campus that fee, to include room and board, goes up to $30,000 per year. She could be working the summer this was filmed and we just see her on her days off; I don't know. Or if she is getting $$ from Bravo for appearing, that's gonna exceed just about anything a student can earn at a summer job, so, good for her. The girls voicing their displeasure with the Gorgas is about the least offensive moment of this show and in future years they can flip it on their aunt and uncle and tell them they were putting food on THEIR table by giving them a storyline.
  25. I agree with you. Judy Gold, the comedian, wrote a very good book about this subject "Yes I Can Say That: When They Come For The Comedians We Are All In Trouble". And make no mistake of it, comedians are being targeted at a government level in some towns/states/districts thanks to "papercut" people. (Please don't ask me to cite examples, there are plenty in Judy's book and I simply can't remember them in detail enough to do justice.)
