Okay well at least that all sounds really soapy...humm it may take longer to catch-up on all this than I thought. I would never have thought Michael is older than Morgan. Michael looks really young. I was still trying to grasp that Kiki is dating Michael and Morgan was dating her mom. gag. So my big take on this is Sonny likes to have lots of ONS and hate sex and everyone seems to NOT want him to know he is anyone's father.LOL

Okay I need someone to explain who Sonny's children are. I know Morgan is and Michael is supposed to be his brother, but Michael also said AJ was his father and he looks nothing like Sonny or Morgan. Olivia said she had a child by Sonny when she was 15 is that child around?

Well that was fun! I just watched my first epp in 30 yrs. I laughed when the first scene was Luke or I mean Fluke and Justin Kiriakis from DOOL(I also stopped watching that show 30 yrs ago) I guess his name is Ned now. I thought it was funny, but dramatic so even though I didn't know who half the people were it was entertaining. All that was missing was the great mob music. The sets are much better than Y&R sets. And I could only wish Y&R had more guns waving around and shootings. The most campy award goes to those two(whose names I never got) listening to AJ's phone. That was really funny but not in a good way. They seem like a couple of idiots. I was really afraid I wouldn't like it as I've heard bad stories about the mob stuff, but I found I want to see what happens tomorrow. Hopefully by the time Nina shows up I'll kind of know what's what.

Funny I love Cary and never see him truely being devious so I just didn't get any sense that he was being anything other than kind. I just don't see him holding a grudge about what Alicia did. I would think he would give her the benefit of the doubt that it was an oversight on her part due to her grief about Will. He also does want FA to work and if Alicia gets burned out and bails on him that is bad news so I saw him as genuine. Love Diane in full on woman in charge. She is acting just like Diane would act and David Lee is a chump if he truely thinks he can best her. I will be sad if Canning does die b/c I like his character and think he has a place in the dynamic. I really think he and Diane play well off each other. I thought SC looked like she just had some "work" done including botox and her face was still kind of "frozen" let's hope it loosens up. I did love the scene with Alicia and her mother on her couch talking. Regardless of how terrible your mother is she IS always your mother. I am still clearly pissed that the Kings want us to believe Will dying would send Alicia in to such a great tail spin so much more than when her whole coddled life exploded in public. I don't buy it at all. So I had really no use for most of Alicia's nashing of teeth and her love interest that had no chemistry. ugh Eli was golden. I loved how they showed his slow warming to Finn and the wheels turning in his mind at the potential this guy brings. He went from feeling burdened with a turkey to seeing a golden goose. That was very well played out. I thought the episode belonged to Diane, Eli and Finn.

I have to say I think Stefan does suffer the worst for the triangle at this point so I think his fans would be the most pissed about it. At least when Damon loved Elena but couldn't be with her he was allowed to have flings even though they were never shown to matter to him. Stefan OTOH is just stuck b/c to keep his martyr status he can't be shown to move on or it would mean he doesn't love Elena enough. I do also feel at this point there are too many contrieved plots just to make the triangle work, which it doesn't anyway. I don't know how they can continue to delude themselves that viewers even see it as a triangle at this point. I mean it seems clear Damon loves Elena, Elena loves Damon and Stefan loves Elena as a friend. Why can't Stefan have a new love interest? I would think even die hard Stelena fans can see there is no Stelena at this point.

Since TVD kind for started as a romantic drama the triangle was kind of the original premise. It did work well for a while and created "sides" which in some ways drove popularity of the show. Unfortunately it really had outlived it's usefulness, but the writers and producers seem set on keeping it going. This is a place for discussing frustrations with how this triangle is hurting the show now rather than helping it. I really like Damon and Stefan's relationship. It is very messy and full of complications. Keeping Stefan tied to Elena while also keeping Damon feeling so insecure is ruining the brother bond, not to mention keeping their scenes together alone at a premium b/c they can't both be with Elena without things getting weird so usually one or the other is with Elena so they can't be together much.

Well last I watched GH was when John Stamos and Rick Springfield were on it. Let's just say I know jack. BUT from what I'm seeing Nina's mom is played by DM and her husband's current girlfriend is played by MW.....well count me in MS with those two, let the party of bitches begin bitches! Could someone give a short list of legacy characters still in play?

Not much left of the show this season except some good comedy lines. Luke: So it kills vampires what does the spell mean for the witches? Damon: No one cares. Damon: You and I and OUR ex-girlfriend are going to go on a little secret trip. Stefan:(stone face) *crickets* Caroline: For a couple of doppletargets you two seem to be taking it in stride. Stefan: Well you know a tribe of ancient wannabe witches want to drain us of our blood and eliminate supernatural beings. I've had worse. Markos: as for the rest of you I hear a lot of walking when I should be hearing chanting.

I can only hope that the reason spirits on the other side can now interact with this world is b/c of something Davina does on TO for Mikael. If I could at least get that kind of crossover continuity I'd be happy. I know probably too much to ask. Out of the fucked up fuckerie that was going on I was screaming at my TV when the traveler was choking Jeremy "Bonnie pick up the damn crossbow and shoot someone!" I swear just b/c Bonnie isn't a witch anymore doesn't mean she can't do shit. Even humans would try to do something. Plus can Bonnie even be killed? Since she is the door and all and already dead. And how did that traveler hurt Jeremy when the biggest baddest traveler Silas couldn't do shit to him. ugh okay I have to stop again or as I said before anuerysm.

That was kind of a mess. I don't know if they got new hairdressers but everyones' hair looked really good. I could not believe how hott Matt looked. Since there really was no discernible plot to speak of I was hypnotized by how pretty everyone was especially Jeremy and Matt for some odd reason. MEOW I did kind of like the brother bonding between Stefan and Damon. I also like Enzo so I'm down with Damon trying to bring him back, but why not try to get Alaric back too, another pretty hott threesome I wouldn't mind kickin' it in MF. Damon Enzo and Alaric. The guy playing Markos can't act. He is terrible. Why exactly was Caroline watching the shed burn and Stefan acted like he knew why she just stood there. weird. I did like that Stefan admitted he didn't tell Caroline about Enzo b/c he couldn't take her judgement, um yah what don't you have some self awareness about how DAMON feels when you act all judgie too. Why is Stefan saying he killed Enzo anyway, Enzo really killed himself. Oh I forgot martyrdom. Okay I just think I'll go back to remembering how pretty everyone was before I give myself an aneurysm.

hummm....that Damon is so predictable, yah I guess that is why he acted quite the opposite to what Stefan and Elena thought about Enzo's death that they were both kind of speechless. Reminds me of the time he chose NOT to go overseas with Stefan during WWII b/c it would be good for him but bad for Stefan but never told Stefan. Yah another time Stefan was speechless when he found out what really happened. Damon can always keep people on their toes by being unpredictable.

Damon has his own complexities that are there if you chose to see them. Human Damon was shown as a 19y/o fun loving sweet guy fighting in the Civil War. He and his brother were very close until a manipulative vampire came in between and tried to shatter that bond. Damon only wanted to be a vampire to be with his love. When she wasn't an option being faced with becoming a vampire he CHOSE to die. He did have some sweet innocence to him even then. Stefan forced him into being a vampire against his will so they could be together, then proceeded to be vengeful and out of control to the point Damon couldn't stay with him. So there Damon was a vampire alone in the world.Damon was pissed at his brother and had no helpful vampire. Damon kind of winged it. He is somewhat emotionally inmature, but he has also enjoyed his forever life. His life is full of stories and fun times. He is just now starting to see that sometimes his impulsiveness comes back to bit him and he is learning and changing. I have no problem enjoying him. Damon is unpredictable. Who knows if he will go off the rails or not. Truth of the matter is Damon DOES help people and solve problems often so I have no problem seeing there is good in him along with the bad. So I'll just continue to enjoy Damon b/c yes I DO like his kind of character. Oh and did I mention he's HOTT....MEOW!

Oh I think they are trying to say Mikael is just THAT powerful. No other supernaturals can leave the area they died(why Kol hasn't shown up), but since Mikael was created by a witch with the sole purpose of killing his own children he can usurp the natural order of things(RME) and now he can be brought back too...whatever. Tim was human and Davena was doing a seance which I always thought WAS to talk to dead human spirits. I think Mikael just jacked the seance so I wouldn't think even if Tim moved on(which why would he when he was killed in such a mannor, I'd think he would stick around trying to get revenge.) Davena still could have contacted his spirit through a seance. I'm with you on the Mikael is lying thing. I can certainly understand someone not wanting that kind of funeral, but they are in New Orleans where it is common and accepted. I'm sure they had that funeral at Kerian's request as he lived his life in that culture and was also Irish. It was like people were appalled FOR him when I'm sure it was his wish. Also being from the south even if I didn't want that kind of funeral myself I wouldn't be bashing it like that b/c I do know some people do. I just thought all the bashing was tacky especially from Cami who supposedly loved her uncle. Why would she be so bitchy about his wishes?(but of course I loathe her anyway) As to a possible triangle with Hayley, I do think it will have triangel qualities, but mostly in Elijah's mind. It seems clear Hayley and Klaus don't have romantic feelings for each other, but Klaus is such a baby about his child being HIS child it will cause Elijah a lot of guilt if he usurps Klaus' place as father. Which he clearly wouldn't do, but he knows Klaus would perceive it that way. What I don't want in any shape or form is Elijah having to fight for Hayley's love against that inbred hillbillie Jackson. ugh if Hayley would choose him over Elijah then she just isn't worthy of Elijah.

Well I really enjoyed that if I just block out Cami and everytime Mikael popped up I kept hoping for Kol instead. Loved the song at the dream funeral and the consistency with TVD of the other side going away. I couldn't understand so many negative comments about a happy New Oleans style funeral. What is the big deal about that? Loved Genevieve and her impatience with Monique, I feel the same way about her. Also loved Elijah's slyness in getting Genevieve to make the rings but being upfront that he won't forgive what she did to Rebekah. Thank goodness no banjo clan to deal with and Hayley moved back where she belongs with the elite. Love her bitchiness and I like when she and Klaus try to work together. Was it just me b/c I know the nursery was supposed to be sweet, it looked creepy to me so dark. I barely like Francesca something about her voice grates badly. I really hate that she and Cami are the token humans b/c I just wish for both of them to be collateral damage. (just throw Monique in there too!)ugh I can't believe they are going to have Mikael come back and no mention of Kol. I really don't look foward to Mikael b/c his OTT rants about Klaus are hard to take even in small doses. I love Elijah...swoon. He was so great the whole show, and Hayley kissing him was well done, glad this is a slow burn, but I do want Elijah to win in love at least ONCE.

I thought Peter did it for Alicia but not to make her appriciate him, it was more b/c he saw the state's attorney was a dick and gunning for Alicia. I thought he was being protective of Alicia and two fold getting rid of the state's attorney that he didn't seem to care much for.

The whole Colin Sweeney party thing was exhausting. Plus I don't like Colin Sweeney. All the creepy flashing back scenes didn't work well for me. I will say Peter did make me kind of take a shine to Finn at the end, surprising since I didn't care for him. I love that he became the governor's candidate when he was only running due to Alicia's maneuvering. It was cute that he looked like he'd been played when it was kind of an accident. ha! I love Owen, and tacky has always been his middle name. It gives me immerse pleasure thinking THIS is Jackie's son. Can someone give some speculation on the slight breakdown Alicia had behind her door. Was it just Will grief? Was it b/c she feels alone? Was it b/c she doesn't want to think of Peter sleeping around? I really couldn't tell which, if any, of these it was. Diane and Sweeney setting Alicia up on the stand was awesome! Eli was just Eli, so charming. The states attorney is a total dick. Be glad to see him lose. Mostly enjoyed the show though it was all over the place.

I love Damon because he is fun and charming. If I had to choose one being in MF to hang with I'd always pick Damon. He can party and have a good time. If danger or problems arise he will deal with them. He is my kind of vampire! I miss season one Damon, I know he was BAD but I don't care I like my vampires wild crazy and fun. If I was going to live forever I'd rather have fun doing it. Hanging with Damon seems fun to me!

Just to clarify I said Stefan can also be vengeful not that he is as vengeful as Damon. 2Old2BAFangirl I agree about Enzo. I wish he would have become more long term character. I wish I could share your rose colored glasses about Stefan and Damon's talk, b/c I do love the Salvatore brother's love for each other and wanted to enjoy their bonding conversation as much as you did. And I do always love them in scenes together so it wasn't a total terrible converstation. But Damon did tell Stefan when he asked why he made Maggie's death look like his work that he did it b/c he held a grudge against Stefan for leaving him to suffer for 5 yrs and this was 3 yrs after he'd been free. I don't think in present time he'd held that grudge for a while so that is why present day Damon didn't try to guilt Stefan about it but he did hold a grudge for years per his own admission. I also can't see Stefan keeping the truth from Damon as being kind. I see it as being controlling so I can't get compassion from it. Hard truth is if Stefan would have told the truth Damon would be a little mad but Stefan could help him cope. Instead Stefan is chosing to lie which will guaruntee when Damon does learn the truth he will be so angry at Stefan for lying he won't be able to help Damon cope. Then Damon will go off the rails and everyone will blame Damon and think Stefan was so noble. End of the day Stefan is making the wrong choice to lie which will cause the situation NOT Damon who will end up getting blamed. So I can't see Stefan as being kind. Damon's main reason for going off the rails usually is due to feeling controlled not so much anger itself. Stefan could help and be a better brother to Damon with the truth not a lie which will lead to alienation.

This sums it up right here. The reason I don't care much for Stefan. Damon never ASKS Stefan to do this, Stefan takes it upon himself to be Damon's morality police. This shouts loud and clear that Stefan THINKS his way is best. Pointing out that Stefan is not as good as he likes to think he is isn't to try and build Damon up. It is to do just what it appears show that Stefan is also flawed. Certainly not as bad or the same, but each in their own way are NOT good. Damon can never find his own way to a better Damon if Stefan keeps trying to fit him into HIS mold. This same thing didn't work when Damon tried to make Stefan more like him. Damon realized that early on and now when Stefan is off the rails he works WITH Stefan towards a better Stefan. To me Stefan is always judging Damon by HIS ruler and finding him lacking that is the whole premise behind him trying to babysit and clean up after Damon. The point of showing Stefan's flaws is to show his ruler isn't the end all be all. I like Damon for Damon I don't want to make him seem better than he is, I'd rather he be more like Elijah than Stefan. I want Damon to be more emotionally mature, but I sure don't want him to act like Stefan.....as Stefan seems to want.

I'll just try to answer the "who said" parts. I take my cue for being a "true vampire" from the originals and their back story. THAT is where I get my sense of how a vampire should be. Not one orginal was shown to feel remorse or fight against drinking from human's except Finn and he was mocked by the others and shown to be a "lessor" vampire. He also was killed off the quickest and mourned the least by the siblings. He was shown to be an embarrassment to the vampire race. And my actual ideal vampire is Elijah, but they don't really show him feeding though his ruthless killing methods lead me to believe he doesn't drink blood bags. He is kind when he wants to be but will kill without remorse. For me in MF Damon is the closest to a true vampire, if you consider the original vampires the mold to go by(as I do). He is just emotionally inmature more like Klaus but not as big a baby and he is more loyal to Stefan than Klaus is to his siblings.

It seems clear the whole keeping the truth from Damon is more for angst between Damon and Elena that anything, and I feel the main reason Caroline was so absent. Why would Stefan share his Enzo is dead secret with Elena? That totally made no sense, if Caroline were there telling her would have made sense but not telling Elena. Although Stefan is such a mopey mope he just wanted to share the guilt with Elena so they could wring their hands together. Stefan just doesn't give Damon enough credit. If Stefan would tell him in a proper way it would work out fine. Yet again an example of Stefan acting like he is a better person than Damon. Fact is Stefan is just as likely to be all vengeful and irrational if he is angry as Damon is. See: how he tried to wipe out all the main families in MF when he was first a vampire AND how he almost killed Elena to mess with Klaus when he was angry at him. Sure Damon is vengeful but so is Stefan and so was Elena when she hated Katherine. I don't really appreiciate how they(the MF crew) try to paint Damon as the ONLY vengeful vampire. Stefan acts like keeping the secret is keeping everyone safe and HE is sacrificing himself for everyone else. Whatever Stefan. In the end Damon will be more pissed they delayed telling him than if Stefan would have manned up. So Stefan can AGAIN be the martyr while Damon looks bad. Damon had told him multiple times to QUIT doing that for him. Even when Stefan goes off the rails Damon tries to work WITH him not control him. Stefen bugs the crap out of me with his superior need to control. I don't have any problem buying Damon and Enzo's deep friendship. Fact is we've been shown through history Damon has mostly been a nomadic loner. We saw how close he was with Alaric and they were only friends for like two years. He went through the worst time of his vampire life with Enzo for five years. He felt so torn up about having to leave Enzo to die he had to turn his humanity off AND kept his revenge plan pact alive well past its rational usefulness. We also saw how Stefan suffered and how he felt towards Damon after just 3 torchered months of pain, imagine five years worth. If Stefan held a grudge when it had only been three months and Stefan was supposed to be gone off to heal then Damon is allowed to be angry Stefan forgot him for five years. I can totally buy the Enzo deserved my assistance b/c he meant so much to me. I still don't think Stefan couldn't overcome Damon's anger about Enzo's death though if he TRIED to explain.

My point about the tiger and the gazelle spoke more to predatory nature of the relationship. Vampires' prey are humans and humans are weak in comparison. Why would the superior vampire strive to BE like his prey. It totally makes no sense. That is not to say that you can't be an "in control" vampire and not willie nillie kill people for no reason, but trying to resist feeding on humans EVER and that some how makes you a superior vampire is a ridiculous notion to me. That is why I don't relate well to Caroline and often times Stefan. In my vampire world the way Damon was trying to train Elena snatch-feed-earse method is far more realistic for a vampire I want to see. I also think Damon is changing, he makes missteps but he is new at being a decent kind of vampire. The biggest point that makes me love him the most isn't when he acts out and does stupid inmature shit at times but b/c when he naturally NEEDS to kill someone for a purpose he doesn't get all angsty about. HE is like dude we ARE vampires. I currently see Damon not going off the rails nor with Elena and he is still TCB, while Stefan hangs out at college not caring at all about the travelers' plan. I would fully expect Damon could kill someone if needed and not feel bad about it. To me that is being a vampire.

Well being as I'm a Damon fan, I liked the episode. I like Damon acting normal and trying to get things done. I like that he helped Elena but didn't let her know. I can't figure out what doubledead Enzo is going to do to him though. Kind of interesting. Speaking of interesting I LOVED how Enzo killed himself. That was the most awesome thing. Especially since he screwed Stefan....the not so good now. haha. Stefan and Elena dug themselves into a BIG hole with Damon. This traveler thing is kind of hard to follow. I really don't get how Elena and Stefan can still BE the last dopplegangers since Klaus can't used Elena's blood b/c she is dead. Since both she and Stefan are technically dead how are they still useful to the travelers? So I just don't see how they can use their blood to kill all the vampires. I wonder who they will kill first? And can Tyler the hybrid be killed too? And their doing this why just so they can all live together? It all seems too convoluted for me. Not that I care much since I dislike her, but where the heck IS Caroline? There really wasn't a good explanation about that.

Damon admits his own fault plenty of times. At the time Katherine met Damon she was really old and he was a 19 y/o kid. He'd probably never been in love in his life, easy to see how he was manipulated by Katherine. He acted like a young inmature man his age would. When he was dying from Tyler's bit he admited he made the wrong choice. He saw that he had a choice and he made the wrong one difference is he LEARNED from it. When Katherine was dying he remembered how evil she was and told the truth. He didn't feel sorry for her b/c he knew who she was. That is why all the rest got played. They fell in a trap he would never fall in again. Stefan had been awful plenty of times when he wasn't the ripper like when he killed Andie and when he fed Elena his blood and almost drove her off the Wickery Bridge. Yet he tries to act better than Damon all the time. One of the reasons I can never like Stefan, he kids himself he is somehow better than Damon.

Such a mixed bag for me. Love Elijah in almost any situation but it hurt my heart seeing him in that mangled suit for so long. I loved father Kieran and I agree a hexed killer vampire priets would have been AWE-SOME! Is it wrong I wanted him to kill Cami so badly? I can not stand Cami and the actress is terrible the fake tears X10 were so annoying obviously she can't cry on cue. I thought it was totally far fetched that Klaus would bug out on his baby mama for her. So why did he not just let Marcel have his "grace period" earlier? I felt it was totally wrong for Klaus to help Cami and not Marcel, I know it was to show the kind side of Klaus to balance his bad side by stabing Elijah in the back again. Whatever show, I don't like Cami so Klaus being kind to her does nothing for me. Are the Werewolves a bunch of inbred hillbillies or what? Those jokers are their own worst enemy as Marcel tried to warn Hayley. I don't care for them and they look like they smell bad too. How can Hayley look so posh living in those shacks? She fits with Elijah not the banjo clan. I won't be sorry when they emplode all on their own. Jackson is a terrible leader. I think all the vampires know not to mess with Hayley as the hybrid baby mama, and that is why they let her get away with shit right now. I did like her in full on bitch mode, but it just makes me wish she and Elijah could be a super couple running things. Genevieve is super annoying but at least no Monique this week. Why did she out her own evil plan to Klaus? I hope she and the werewolves emplode each other. Love Josh he is great. Hope they keep him around for the comedy. I'm slightly interested in what is up with "the key" but not as it involved Cami.
